We tried EXO's popular dishes - Salmon Lover Roll, Las Vegas Roll, and Mixed Tempura. I placed a phone order on my way there and the order was ready within 5-10 minutes. Super friendly and welcoming workers. I asked one of the workers A LOT of questions, and she was very sweet and willing to help me choose the perfect roll I wanted. BD and I decided to have dinner here on our one free night before we hit Downtown Disney. Just 10 min away, the location was easily accessible in a strip mall. We were the only people dining in but we did see a few orders being picked up to go. They have a pretty basic sushi menu and specials listed on the wall. I saw beef curry was a special item so I made sure to order this, in addition to the Sunrise and Dancing Albacore roll. We also had the spicy tuna tacos and gyoza from the apps list. Beef Curry - Big tender chunks of beef, and plenty of it to go around. Carrots and potatoes were cooked perfectly and the curry sauce thick, just how I like. This was served with rice and a side salad, and honestly very filling. I think it must have come with a miso soup too as she put one on the table for us. I only wish the curry could have been made spicier. Sunrise roll and Dancing Albacore roll - Honestly, they're okay. The rolls are cut into bite size pieces which is my preference over huge rolls that require you to unhinge your jaw. For the cost, I guess the quality makes sense. I'm used to bay area prices and the rolls here were only about $12 each so you get what you get. The fish on top did not look or taste very fresh. They were edible sure but the fish a bit rubbery. Gyoza - Okay this actually exceeded our expectations. The gyoza were juicy inside, and crispy on the outside. The dipping sauce had a light sweetness that paired perfectly with the gyoza filling and was a great starter. Spicy tuna tacos - Honestly, kinda mid. The shell of the tacos was delicious and crunchy so I loved the texture but the flavor of the spicy tuna was just eh. It was too tangy and I did not like the addition of cherry tomatoes in this. All in all, I think the place is decent for a quick bite as the food does come out really quickly yet piping hot (for the hot items). The menu isn't the most toddler friendly, but I think that's subjective. If you're from the Bay, the pricing is great but temper expectations for quality. read more

Ambiance is pretty spacious, with average seats for 2-4 people, and can accommodate bigger parties. Food was nicely presented and good. We ordered: Ocean Sour Roll, 911 Roll, and Ninja Roll. I ordered a couple rolls to go on my way home. I was pretty disappointed with the quality, size and construction of the rolls. The salmon lover was tiny and lacking in salmon. The sexy girl roll was very flimsily constructed and I couldn't even pick it up with chopsticks. To me, it wasn't even to the standard of grocery store sushi. Definitely not worth the $35 I paid. Everything was SO good and fresh. The combination of their sauce and toppings was just the perfect balance! PROS: Amberjack nigiri was my favorite. Both the salmon cut roll and nigiri was good. Halibut nigiri was pretty good, just needed a drop of lemon juice and it would of been perfect. Spicy Tuna on crispy rice was descent, the rice had perfect consistency, but I did not like the sauce on top. CONS: Yellowtail nigiri was not edible, one bite and I had to spit it out. K1 roll had too much cilantro, but this was surely my mistake for not looking at the menus full description. I'm not opposed to giving this place another try because they have friendly staff and there were more pros than cons. However, I wish that they do make sure that everything is fresh because the yellowtail was definitely not. read more

I am not a person who eats sushi normally. But I have been having it lately. I ordered on their website, and had BLC Roll and Miso Soup. The miso was very tasty and I liked how they had tofu cubes and some leaf maybe seaweed in it. Among the best Misos I've had. The BLC roll was beautifully prepared, pleasing for the eyes to see. It was probably the best sushi roll I have ever had. And normally I don't have sushi. It was just the perfect combination of ingredients and the right amount of sauces. And the sauces really made this roll really work well. I would absolutely order this roll again. And I am definitely coming back here soon. Their prices are pretty good compared to other sushi places. You can get their specialty rolls for $10-12 on average. The BLC was just a little bit more but worth every penny. I didn't want to be finished eating it!! It was my first time here and I'll be back soon. I want to bring my brother with me. The staff was so very nice to me.
