The other location took 45 minutes just for my order. I made sure to give the parking meter plenty of time but I didn't need it this time. Everything tasted fresh and service was friendly. Parking is difficult due to the amount of people who exist in downtown burbank but once you find it, it's free 2 hours. I loved their poke burrito! My only complaint would be price but come on, it's fish in LA. Plus, their rewards system makes it worth it!! read more

April 2024: Yes! Regular = 3 scoops of protein, 5 toppings, 3 sauces for $17. That's value. I came in here and was blown away by how fresh and clean everything is. Great staff! Two young kids work in the counter in tandem with each other. My whole experience here was great. I have to say that for $17 getting somewhere in the vicinity of like a pound to 2 lb of rice and protein and poke and all the toppings, and the sauces, the flavor combination is just incredible. I cannot stress how fresh the albacore, tuna, and salmon are. I mean you can literally see, taste, and experience the Great quality. For the local tourist, day trip person, someone who wants to experience downtown Burbank, anyone passing through, this is definitely a place where you get your money's worth. Very casual atmosphere, shorts and t-shirt type vibe. Parking: street only. San Fernando has a 90-minute limit per space. Be careful, some spots or 10 minute only. There are two free structures closer to Orange Grove that are Unlimited for about 22 hours. No parking 3am-5am. So if you have to leave your car there overnight, fair warning that you might get ticketed and towed. read more

Got to try Pokitomik for late lunch today and it did not disappoint! Regular sized bowl with 2 salmon scoops, 1 tuna scoop. Assorted toppings and sauces/drizzles for you to choose from. Portion size was good and food was delicious. Also tried their taro drink which was very refreshing. Pretty quiet inside but we came at an odd hour. Staff (and owner?) was super friendly too. I love this place! Their poke is amazing! They give great portion sizes and it's packed with flavor.

The service and food were one of the best I've ever had in the area! Portion sizes are incredible as well!

TL;DR It's a chipotle style Poke place! The rice was cooked well and there were plenty of options for a custom bowl. Prices are reasonable and it's a 2 minute walk to the movie theater. This will likely be myself and my girlfriends new ritual after seeing a movie. I ordered a regular bowl with 3 scoops; spicy tuna, salmon and sweet salmon which is their pre-sauced salmon chunks. White rice was simple which is all you need. I hate poke places that add a bunch of shit to the rice like extra sesame oil of furakake. This place is not that. Toppings included the usuals such as pineapple, cucumber, edamame, seaweed salad and masago. The fish did not taste or smell fishy so I'm confident to say it was fresh enough to pass the smell test. It wasn't the best sashimi in the world but it was plenty clean for our tastes for a quick, afternoon poke bowl. The shrimp was over cooked and rubbery, unfortunately, it was also stored in a small pool of water. I wish the shrimp was chilled on ice but we did arrive around 2:00 PM after the lunch rush. It's possible the ice melted. Overall, the quality of the fish was a solid 4/5. The restaurant does not have a fountain drink machine so there are no water cups. This was disappointing because our only option was a soda or bottled water. I hope they upgrade to a fountain machine soon so we can get water cups on our next visit. At the end of the day, this is a good poke place with good prices and great options to customize your bowl. As of writing in July, 2023, they are newly opened so I hope they improve over time. I enjoy eating more bodybuilding/ powerlifting style foods so lots of carbs and protein. This will absolutely be my usual spot for a movie and then dinner for casual dates with my girlfriend. read more

Again, yay! Came back for my 2nd visit ready to try a bowl. The small poke bowl, at $13, is actually not so small! The manager greeted me and the cashier by the name of Eric according to my receipt was patient as I took a minute being indecisive and was super friendly. The bowl itself was nicely portioned (thanks Eric) and tastes fresh and comforting. I also tried their boba, which seems to be a new addition to the menu. Slightly cheaper than the average boba spot for a medium-sized drink: green tea, taro, or brown sugar... sounds pretty good to me! I got salmon/spicy tuna protein, white rice, & toppings. As well as my strawberry green tea w/ strawberry popping boba.. refreshing! Overall, $20 is not bad these days for a meal, a cold drink, and customer service! read more

The last time I had PokiTomik was the first time in a while. Honestly, it was great. The staff were helpful and patient as I took a while to order. I like that they had the seasoned salmon as well as the unseasoned one. I didn't get it, but I liked that they had the option of Cheetos! That actually sounds good with the flavors and I might get it with the hot Cheetos next time. They also have both mangoes and pineapples, which I think go great with poke. They have a nice rewards program, and cool incentives like free drinks. The food tasted fresh and it was absolutely delicious, with very fair portions.
