Banh mi had no jalapenos either, the egg rolls were missing lettuce wraps and the sauce was half the to go container. I've eaten here in person and received lettuce when eating in the restaurant, their yelp photos show lettuce wraps with the egg rolls. But every time i ordered egg rolls for takeout it is missing lettuce wraps. The one time i ordered and got the lettuce wraps with egg rolls, i had to explicitly tell them to add it that time. I thought this placed served the food as it should be in their culture? I've held back leaving a bad review of this place because i thought they would somehow improve or it was a one off mistake but this was the final straw. Consistently screwing up or intentionally holding back ingredients on takeout orders crazy. How much are you actually saving by with holding lettuce, sauce, and jalapenos??? This place used to be good, now it's just another above average spot. If you want banh mi, go somewhere else and be less disappointed.

Between the two of us, we shared their beef pancake roll, their three cup chicken, pork potstickers and a side of their lotus roots. This ended up being too much food for the two of us to finish and we ended up having to take home leftovers. I really enjoyed the beef pancake roll here. The inside has generous amounts of thinly sliced, marinated beef shank, and the scallion pancake wrap is rolled out very thin, crispy, and not oily at all. There's a bunch of julienned cucumbers inside for that crunch and just the right amount of hoisin sauce for that added sweetness. I wouldn't change a thing about this dish. With the three cup chicken, I enjoyed how spicy the dish was; definitely a dish you'll want to enjoy over rice. If I had to nitpick, one improvement that could have been made to the dish is if the chicken pieces were cut to be smaller. The potstickers here are well-made. If you're looking for Japanese-style gyoza, you will not find that here. The ones here are very in-line with what you'd find at food stalls on the streets of Taiwan in terms of texture, taste, and flavor. The potsticker wrappers have a wonderful crispiness to them and the pork filling is well-seasoned: I didn't actually need to use the included sauce to enjoy the dumplings. Overall, I had a wonderful meal at Pine & Crane and would happily come back again for lunch. Prices are competitive for the amount of food that you get and food was very promptly delivered out of the kitchen.
