I like how this is right across from the park. On a nice day, it's fun to get takeout and then go across the street to eat it. There's always so much going on at the park, and oftentimes there is a busker. I've been here a couple times now, and it's always delicious. I get the same thing every time because I can't resist! The Black Dragon roll is so yummy. I love eel so much. It's packed so full of flavor. I think it's pretty large and filling. The owner is very kind and friendly. I brought my boys here to eat, so I had enough to get the free magnet for the Kick it in the CID thing. The magnet is super cool. I also appreciate that they have a fried chicken option. Good poké burritos and bowls (yes, you can get both here- and even build your own, if you want). Not too busy in the late afternoon, but nice and cool inside on a hot day. Water bottles are VERY reasonably priced and the poké itself is not too pricey either. Would recommend if you're in the International District seeking something cool and hydrating in the summer. read more

I was so eager to eat that I forgot to take photos, but they have very generous portions of fish and fillings in their poke burritos. My friend and I shared a Golden Salmon and a Spicy Volcano, and both were delicious with nice kicks from the spicy mayo. I like that the rice layer was relatively thin, too many places have too much rice and other filler. Limited seating area along the window front, but there was nobody else there during lunch time so I worry this place will not stay around after summer. Some great offerings at this clean and inviting venue. We went during a food walk in the ID and the service was still so fast and friendly. I was surprised how much I liked the Sushi Burritos. I generally make fun of sushi fusion (burritos, donuts, etc). If it helps others who feel similar , it's basically a sushi hand roll. I've now tried three of these: the titan crunchy, the black dragon, and the aloha sunset. All are delicious. The poke was less impressive. I had the Hawaii Poke Bowl. The flavors were bland and the additions didn't really meld for me. I'd recommend doing the "build your own" bowl if you're going the poke route. read more

I would say this restaurant should be more like a 3.5 stars. I am giving it a 4 because of all the different options they offer and the amount of veggies they put on top (if you choose to do so). Since about 3 years ago, I have been eating very clean. I still eat unhealthy foods for taste but less than 10% of my meals. I work in international district and we do not have many "healthy" options so I typically just pack my own lunch. But a place like this, you have the option to eat as a healthy and unhealthy as you want. Take a look at the all the veggies I asked and they put on top of my bowl (included in the base price). Not only the amount, so many varieties of vegetables. The price isn't necessarily cheap but it is not very expensive either. I did not try but they even offer burritos with poké inside. It was harder to tell from other reviews and photos on yelp but they do have some limited seatings if you have to dine in. They did get rid of the seating area that the previous business at this location set up though. It was pretty empty on a Thursday lunch. Service was okay but limited. They use paper to-go containers for your food. As far I could tell, the bowl was not lined with plastic. Which is a huge plus! Portions are big. And as mentioned, the price isn't cheap but not too outrageous. Taste is above average for poké. Definitely better than the one inside Uwajimaya. read more

This spot was alright! I'd never had a poke burrito, that's what appealed to me. The burrito itself was DENSE, I was pretty full by the time I finished it! It didn't have as much variety as a regular poke bowl so honestly I wouldn't order it again but it was easy to eat while driving and I had another 45 mins to drive so I was glad I could multitask eating dinner and being on the road! There was no line when I came and the server was quick, I was inside maybe 5 minutes total? There's no free street parking that I saw, and honestly not even any spots nearby - I ended up leaving the car with the emergency on a couple blocks away in one of the only open spots I could find. I've eaten here a hand of times and the fresh factor really stand out. The burritos are expertly rolled and the dedication to quality control is outstanding. I love how the burritos come in a take out box and this makes the experience stand out. The fish is delicious and I really love the quality of the salmon and ahi. Service is always great and I love supporting local. I'm more of a fixed priced menu but it evens out in the end. If you're in the CID, this is a really spot. Took over the GoPoke space. They have an ordering tablet if you want to self-service your order. Got rid of the tables and bars in the space so it's more open. Would be great if they continue GoPoke's tradition of using their space for pop-ups. Got the Yuki Sakura sushi burrito. Took a bit of time but I chalk it up to opening day and ironing out their process. It came in a neat box that you can rip into 2 containers that nicely holds half of the burrito. Vegetables had a nice fresh and crunchy bite to them. Higher quality than IJ Sushi Burrito I had to compare it to today and a bit cheaper. there's a new poké spot in chinatown! they took over gopoké's old space and brought some new concepts with them! you can make your own poké burrito or poké bowl or if you're indecisive, you can pick from their own signature bowls. they have quite a good selection of toppings to choose from which is really nice. they have a nice sleek design and aesthetic packaging which i can always appreciate. the interior is a bit empty with less tables than it's predecessor but there's still seating by the windows. on to the food-- i got a spicy salmon poké bowl with corn, crispy onion, cucumber, masago, seaweed salad, tamago & tempura flakes. their fish are fresh and the bowl is pretty filling! i'm looking forward to having them in the neighborhood! read more
