While Dane was wonderful in replacing our water heater's anode rod, it was quite bothersome that we…read morehad to pay $250 to have it replaced on a part covered under warranty. The water heater was installed 2 1/2 years ago by Rivival Heating and the anode rod needed to be replaced because "Portland water is so hard and full of minerals". The original quote for labor alone (not covered under warranty) was $340 but we got the manager to bring it down to $250. Still, the water heater is only 2 1/2 years old and that was an expense we did not anticipate when we bought the water heater. The prior one was not broken but when we had Rivival replace our furnace, they strongly suggested replacing the water heater at the same time. The old one never produced brown water but after just two years, the new one did. Maybe the water heater wasn't as good as the previous one? Not sure... Forgot to add, my home warranty service said they could not reimburse me because this is a "warranty issue". And to be truthful, the furnace job was great! Just wish the water heater repair didn't cost me anything. Next year, when it is out of warranty, I'll be able to file for reimbursement from my home warranty provider.

The work was not cheap but the quality seemed good and certainly worth doing after our crawl space had a few rodents intrude. We have noticeably improved airflow in the house and hopefully removed the opportunity for future intruding rodents to access and damage the ductwork if they happen to get inside the crawl again.

The arrived on time, and completed the job by their estimated time. They made sure they kept us in the loop with everything critical that they were doing and they did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards. They also put down heavy duty tarps between the house entrance and the job location so that they did not track in any dirt as they went back and forth to their truck as needed. When they finished the job, they made sure we understood what was still to come, such as follow up calls from the company and possible calls or visits from inspectors. They also made sure that records of their work were available for inspectors to review. On top of all this, Precision gave us a bid which was fair and affordable for us. I have nothing but good things to say about this company.
