I always get the Hashbrown burrito it is absolutely amazing!!! Lines can be a little long in the drive thru but I always enjoy my meal.

I ordered a three cheese enchilada plate. No bean extra rice. They obviously didnt write down my order. They gave me no rice but extra beans. The cheese was not melted in the enchiladas. Felt cold. Im giving 2 stars because the tacos were good. read more

This place is right down the street from my work and makes a perfect stop for lunch. I usually get the carne asada burrito, which is just meat and guacamole, and isn't greasy. I can usually only eat half of it, they're HUGE. Just a few ingredients and very filling, and only $6.75, a great deal! read more

We hit Poliberto's every time we're in Flagstaff. The food is consistently great, the staff is friendly and they are properly masked up. My go-to order is a crispy beef taco and a shrimp taco (they don't skimp on the shrimp!) and the hubs gets the fish tacos. I highly recommend this little gem! read more

Absolutely awful food. I ordered the carne asada nachos. Absolutely nothing on this was warm. I'm not even asking for hot...just warm. Nope! They heaped their pre-prepared asada onto my nachos COLD with every other ingredient and served it to me. Worst nachos EVER! Do not go here for food let alone Mexican food. Update: after having to heat up the nachos myself I am even more disappointed to find out that the nachos are devoid of flavor. An absolute waist of time and money. Do yourself a favor and go to Del Taco or Taco Bell for better tasting food. read more

I went to Flag for a couple days from the valley and happened upon this place almost by accident I was blown away by both the quantity and quality of the food (normally those two variables are inversely proportionate). It doesn't look like much from the outside, but I guess that could apply to, well, nearly everywhere. I have had very expensive Tex- Mex elsewhere, but oddly none have compared in quality with Poliberto's, and amazingly the prices are competitive. It was so good I ended up ordering out another beef chimichanga and carne asada burrito first thing in the morning the next day before heading back home. I almost hesitate to write this review because I don't want to spoil it for the regular locals, but this place is head and shoulders above most Mexican restaurants. The chimichanga (kind of a yardstick I use to measure up quality) was filled with mounds of tender shredded beef, to the extent that I wonder how they make a margin on overhead cost. (Not to mention the house-made pico, schmear of guacamole, and crema.) And they have imparted a balanced flavor in the meat and filling that leaves you wanting more. The only thing I did to 'punch it up' as it were was to add some crema mexicana over the top. And normally I need to add a whole lot more to make modern Tex-mex edible. Oh and their house-made red hot sauce is both fiery hot and savory delicious. And the customer service is great too! read more

Good salsa bar. Half the time it's not out though and they offer you the pre packaged stuff instead. If the salsa isn't out go somewhere else. Went here recently. Got cold food, never poured the drinks we ordered, asked for flour tortillas, got corn, tried to switch them and still never got the flour. They said they were switching the salsa bar out and it would be just a few mins. 20 minutes later it still wasn't out. Just a bunch of teenagers half adding it. Food always takes forever. Having recently left Flagstaff, I miss this place dearly. They have a typical menu for all the -berto restaurants in town, with typical cheap prices, typically huge portions, and it's all typically delicious. So what's so special about this one? I'm really not sure, but I can say that out of all the bertos in Flagstaff and the ones we've tried here in Phoenix so far, none compare to this one. The food always tastes fresh, even at 3 in the morning, and the flavors are right on. While I love having a salsa or condiment bar, this place doesn't need one. Every forearm-sized burrito is perfectly seasoned and wrapped tightly for maximum portability. I hope to find a replacement soon. This could be the best Mexican food I've ever had. Where to start? Price is very reasonable considering the portions are huge. I got a fish taco as aside to snack on with my California burrito. Taco was enough to be a meal itself. Piece of fried fish was at least a inch and a half thick. The burrito was fantastic. Free chips and really friendly staff. Very large menu and salsa was good. Actually I think this is the best meal I've eaten in Flagstaff in the 5 months I've lived here. read more

Five stars for a drive through? Yes! The best chicken burrito in Flagstaff, and possibly Arizona. I dare you to find better. Have you had their sincronizada? Ham, avocado, pickled jalapeño quesadilla, delicious. Can I make these at home? Mostly, but they make it a little better, and way quicker. I'm a big fan of this place, and stop by pretty frequently. A definite stop to identify your favorite Mexican place in Flagstaff. Sometimes the drive through can get a little backed up, so pull to the side and park. This can be faster than the drive up window anyways., and they have a chips/salsa bar inside. Today we called in ahead, which didn't really matter, because they forgot our order. Which meant the time we attempted to save, ended up being tacked on top of the time to complete the order. I chose the hashbrown breakfast burrito, which is straying from my usual choice, the awesome carne asada burrito. The HBB has eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, bacon, and cheese. Overall, it was good, but had way too much cheese. I think I'll go with my usual order from here on out. read more

Let me start off by saying that this place REALLY needs to replace the drive through speaker. We go through the same drill every time I'm there of repeating the order three times. It drives me BSC. The food is pretty typical of a -bertos. I choose this one to frequent because of it's location to my office. They usually get my order right (did I mention the drive through speaker), and when they don't they make it right. When it's busy, they have you pull off to the side some they can keep the drive through line moving which is a plus. My favorite dish is the steak and egg plate. It's a generous portion of carne asada with a couple of fried eggs, and of course rice, beans, and a couple of huge tortillas. They will ask you if you want salsa, say no, you'll get it anyway. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the drive through speaker. read more

Man I love Poliberto's. OBVIOUSLY, don't go there expecting some kind of gourmet experience. But for the fast-food-Mexican place that it is, it is really quite perfect. The employees are always friendly and sweet and the food is perfect. My husband and I always get the carne asada fries, but with the shredded chicken instead of carne and it is genuinely the most DELICIOUS chicken! The fries are always fresh and crispy too). The lengua tacos are also awesome. The rolled tacos are simple, but perfect. OH, and the hashbrown breakfast burrito is great. They aren't the fastest fast food, but it's because they're actually making everything to order, so I totally support that. I've been going here for several years, and go quite frequently. read more

Stop by lunch and got the worst customer service ever in my life! The owner spilled a full large soda all over me and inside my purse. Mostly in my purse. Her first words where to me was "Here is your change." I said I need towels not my change. She handed me 3 napkins and walked off to serve other customers. After a few minutes she handed me a towel. I told her this happened because the lid on the drink wasn't secure then she had the nerve to blame me saying I cause this to happen and walked off. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the owner. I told her her customer service sucks and she show no concern to see if I was okay. Then she asked me if I wanted my food. She didn't give a crap. She never apologized. Just look annoyed with me. I will never come here again. I'm a business owner and I would never treat any customer with so little regard. Practically by default, Poliberto's has become a go-to burrito joint whenever Amy and I are in Flagstaff. I'm always happy to have the option to order things like lengua and cabeza (the lengua is actually very good, while the cabeza is just so-so), and it's nice to snack on free chips whenever I actually go into the restaurant instead of ordering from the drive-through. But for the most part, Poliberto's is just average, and if I were a conservative "carne asada burrito" or "bacon, egg, cheese, and potato breakfast burrito" aficionado, I would probably walk away from a meal here pretty unimpressed. The bottom line, I think, is that Flagstaff needs more 24/7 Mexican fast food options. But since it doesn't, the other bottom line is, go to Poliberto's! read more

Typical" Bertos" cousins restaurant however this location makes some killer breakfast burritos. I like the fact that you are allowed to add anything to the breakfast burritos. Service is usually pretty slow since there is normally only one cook and one person working the counter and drive thru window. Excellent food to help combat hangovers also. read more

Mo gives this 2 stars because she thought she was going to get mugged and the restroom was located outside. Jim would give the cheap eats a solid 4 stars. My husband and I just recently moved to Flagstaff, and on our almost daily drive up to Buffalo Park we noticed this restaurant was always busy no matter the time, so we decided to give it a try and are we happy we did. The food here is so delicious, plentiful, and inexpensive, we paid $14.80 for our meal yesterday and even brought some of it home . On my first visit I had the shredded beef tacos, which were huge, full of tender beef, and in house made shells. Yesterday I had the beef chimichanga which again was huge and crispy and full of succulent beef and topped with guacamole, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, and accompanied by beans and rice. My husband is hooked on the chicken enchiladas, which he states are the best he's ever had. There's also chips and an assortment of salsas which are both self serve and amazing. The gentleman at the counter is also quite amazing as he's taking orders at the counter and window plus delivering food to the tables all with a friendly and relaxed manner in this very busy and authentic Mexican restaurant. read more
