We decided on Mexican tonight and weighed about four or five options, as there are a ton of Mexican restaurants in this town, and ended up here. I got the chicken enchiladas with rice and beans combo, which was delicious, and mom got smoked chicken tortilla salad without the tortilla which she said was very good. I liked that the house chips and salsa came with three kinds of salsa. We enjoyed everything about our experience at this restaurant, the food was delicious, the service was great, and the decor was delightful.

Great food, great service, Mexican village ambiance, daily happy hour from 3-6PM includes food and drinks, same owner as Fat Olives and Fat Bagels, accept reservations, always able to reach by phone, and Guy Fieri approved.

Amazing place! My partner and I enjoyed the food, the ambience, and the service at the bar from Lana!

Delicious!! Three of us had dinner here one night. My son had the classic carnitas plate that came with an enchilada and a tostada too. He loved it. He said the pork was tasty and juicy. My buddy and I had the Navajo Taco, an open faced taco built on top of Indian fry bread. I thought this was super yummy. Delicious Indian bread covered with beans, lettuce and pork. So yummy! The ambiance is very comfortable and very pleasing to the eye! Service was wonderful! Always available and there to help with what ever you need. Great place and hope to be back soon! Please see pictures and let your eyes do some feasting!

We stopped here on our way to Flagstaff airport. The dining room is big, light and colorful with many interesting knick knacks on the wall. The staff seated us immediately. The waitress explained the homemade speciality salsas. We ordered three salsa sampler, Navajo taco and various other tacos. The special al pastor tacos were exceptional. No wonder Guy Fieri highlighted it on DDD! It's a warm delicious dining experience.

We stopped by for lunch during our day trip to Flagstaff. We got seated immediately. We got the shrimp enchilada and the chicken-filled sopipias! The chips and trio salsa were on the house. I am giving 2 stars only for the salsa. The food plates were simply bland and slathered with white sauce and cheese when we specifically said easy cheese! The Chicken lacked seasoning, it was bland, like just slow-boiled. The service was okay! Won't recommend this place!

While staying in Flagstaff my husband & I came here for dinner. Cute decor inside with comfy booths. My hubby had the enchiladas trio plate & loved it! I had the stuffed sopapilla that was so delicious & so huge I got to take home leftovers. They have 3 types of salsa they will bring to the table but we opted for the hottest one, a pineapple habanero that was exceptional. Also enjoyed a couple of prickly pear margaritas. Our server was Aiden & she was awesome! Friendly & attentive without being overly so. We will definitely come back to this spot & try more items!

Enjoyed a late lunch on Thursday. No wait, friendly service. Colorful interior. We were served chips and trio salsa while we were looking over the menu. We ordered a beer and split a Stuffed Sopapilla. I was hoping for a little crunch from the fry bread but it was soggy from all the topping. I would try something different next time.

Found this place when I was traveling through flagstaff. Let me tell you I'm glad I did. Awesome service. And the food... The pineapple salsa....its amazing!!! And I don't even like pineapples! The chimi I got. Wow. The smoked chicken flavor was awesome. Now I know my spot for mex in flagstaff!

First time here with a group of friends....my friend and I had the cheese enchiladas and we both returned our food because it was cold. The staff were super courteous and apologetic. The enchiladas were good and had a hint of spice that I have never tasted in any other enchiladas, but the flavor was good. A couple of friends had the tacos and they liked them. A couple shared the two person fajitas and they also enjoyed. Thank you to the staff and manager for the pleasant and courteous service.

Tex Mex, heavy on the Tex- When researching Mexican eats in the area, I was excited to discover they offered savory sopapillas- We arrived late Sunday afternoon, and were told there was a 45min wait. We settled into the waiting area, but were pleasantly surprised when we were seated at the bar 10 minutes later- The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, and the service was friendly and attentive, which made for a pleasant dining experience. They provide complimentary chips & salsa- note, they did ask if we'd like more, but the second round was a charge-glad I asked (this was one of the woes of the place- many times our waiter asked if we wanted non-complimentary items extras, without stating they were at cost add-ons until I asked) I ordered the stuffed sopapillas with carnitas-no sour cream- and mild lime creme sauce- My husband ordered the Carnitas Combo- Both plates were very flavorful, bold seasoning, nice kick to them, & stuffed with meat- though the side rice/beans were on the plainer side The sopapillas were beyond smothered in the lime creme & very soggy- was a bit disappointed-it felt more Tex-Mex than authentic Mexican cuisine. The dishes were flavorful but lacked the depth and authenticity I was hoping for. It focused heave on the cheese and sauce rather than the more subtle flavors of quality Mexican- gimmicky cooking The place really has pride in the Guy Fieri visit, it was interesting to learn he had visited over 15yrs ago, but they're still going strong celebrating-

Based on that experience, I chose to stick with the Ground Beef Burrito, priced at $14.25 as of January 2026. It was just as good as I remembered and still amazing. During this visit, we also tried two other dishes. The first was the Creamy Chimichanga, also known as Chimichanga a la Crema, which cost $19.25. This dish was savory, creamy, and very indulgent. Like the burrito dishes, it came in a large portion and was served in a huge tray. I liked it, but I felt it was a little too heavy for me because of all the cream. Even so, it was still very delicious. We also ordered the Veggie Super Burrito for $14.99. It was filled with beans and was pretty good overall, but I didn't think it was anything especially memorable. Out of everything we ordered this time, the Ground Beef Burrito remained my favorite. Overall, I was once again satisfied with the food from this restaurant and felt very impressed with the experience.

We were intrigued enough that we visited MartAnne's the very next night for dinner. That was on a Tuesday at around 6PM and it wasn't too busy the entire time we were there. House Horchata ($5.99) - This drink comes in a giant 32 oz Ball jar with tons of ice. Per the server it's made with milk and condensed milk, no rice milk at all. It's rich, thick, creamy, sweet, filled with earthy notes of vanilla and cinnamon. There's so much spice included that at some points, there's almost a gritty feeling while drinking. It's perfect for a hot day after hiking. Buckwheat Pancake ala carte ($4.99) - Buckwheat pancakes are something we've never seen before on a diner menu in the past. It seems to be pretty common around Arizona, so we had to give it a try before leaving Flagstaff. This one's pretty big, almost plate sized. It's really moist, fluffy, bouncy, and light with a slight sweetness and a certain earthy flavor. It's moist enough that it sticks to the ceramic plate it's served on. The pancake is somewhat crumbly due to the low gluten content of buckwheat, although I believe they use a mix of buckwheat and wheat flour to give some more stability. It's bluish grey in color with black specks of ground buckwheat throughout. It's dusted with powdered sugar, but it's not a ton, making the pancake not really sweet at all. The pancake comes with a small cup of their cinnamon honey butter. It's not mixed that well, leaving it mostly unhomogenized with streaks of honey and spice through the softened salted butter. Tamale ala carte ($4.99) - MartAnne's offers two types of tamales - the first a red chile beef, and the second a green corn and cheese. We went with the latter, which is a homemade tamale with a somewhat looser, coarsely ground masa shell surrounding an interior of yellow sweet corn kernels, a bouncy and somewhat spongy block of Oaxaca cheese, and a fragrant green chile. There's a slight sweetness throughout and the tamale overall is easy to eat. Chilaquiles, Xmas, Fratelli ($17.99) - This is a monster sized plate of a mishmash of ingredients. There are three things as essentially a base layer. Firstly some Mexican rice that's tender, moist, and fluffy, totally unlike the more common dry and and compact version. My guess is that they skip the initial frying step that helps keeps the starch together. It's quite fragrant and has gives a bit of heat. On top of the rice is a layer of hash browns. The potatoes are tender on the interior, griddled on one side to give a delightful crunch, although there's some acridity that develops. Another third of the plate is covered with chili beans - tender pinto beans that are well salted and seasoned. Then there's the eggs stuffed in between layers of corn tortilla chips, smothered with sauce. I went with the Christmas combination of red and green sauce, followed up by the Fratelli-style pork green chile. The green sauce is fragrant and vegetal, while the red sauce is more smoky. The pork, which is cut into chunks, on top is a bit tough and dry but there's more than enough sauce to make up for that slight demerit. Finally, there's a small mound of I believe jalapeno peppers, cut into small neon-green colored pieces. Some pieces are spicy, some are mild, all have a vegetal pepper taste. I found the food at MartAnne's to be pretty good. It definitely hits the spot after hiking all around the area for most of the day. Bathrooms - Two individual rooms, one for men, one for women. Note: MartAnne's charges a 3.5% credit card fee. This is labeled on the menu.
