They do take care of you but it's overpriced in my opinion. My polish didn't last as long as other places I've gone to for the price either.

This gem is the perfect place to treat yourself to a little self care. I came for the first time to get a pedicure and I was definitely impressed. I went to this nail salon on 2/23/19 for the gel dip and a manicure. I was able to schedule my appointment right from the Yelp app. The owner responded very quickly, that is a plus in my book. I went in, was sat after about ten minutes and my nail tech got to work. He worked very quickly, I thought this was nice and was still hopeful my nails would turn out fine. The whole process only took about 30 minutes, I'm no regular to these dip manis and my prior nail techs at a different salon took about an hour each time. I'd prefer a longer session with higher quality nails than quick work with just decent results. Additionally, my nail tech was very quiet. I do enjoy making small talk but other than telling me what to do with my hands, he did not speak. The price for the service was reasonable, $45-$48 I believe and $55 after a tip. I did not feel as though I received the manicure part of my service but maybe different nail salons include different things in the manicure service. The inside of the nail spa is beautiful and everybody was friendly. I had an okay experience, but I am not sure I would spend that amount of money again for a service I was not totally sold on.. read more

I love coming here to get a pedicure. I've never had a problem booking an appointment. The staff is always friendly and professional. They do a great job painting my toes and making me feel pampered. So I accidentally went to Posh! for my 4 pm appt, which means I was late to Polish! But I'm so glad I kept my appt. with Polish. I chose this place after a bad experience elsewhere, and I'm very pleased! Ping took care of my spa pedicure and gel manicure, and gave me some of the best work I've ever had (and I lived in LA for 12 years!). I was especially happy with how solicitous Ping was, helping me to choose a color, as well as how thorough and gentle her technique is. Terrible customer service. I was looking for the color black and asked the girl at the front desk. She said she couldn't help me and that I needed to ask the person doing my nails. He was so annoyed with my question I was instantly uncomfortable. I then asked him to do stripes on one finger, 2 red and 2 green, he said no and that someone else would have to do it. Stripes are NOT hard. He was lazy and rude. No wonder it was empty in there. I said thanks and walked out. Went down the street to Perfect Nails and Pada was more than happy to help! I went in giving this salon a second chance because they always hurt my friend when we got our nails done. I went in for a full set six days ago and by today(the sixth day) most of my nails had come off. They offered to redo it but i didnt want another bad set of nails so i just requested a refund. They did not oblige and the nail tech accused me of popping my own nails off. If you've ever broken a nail, you would know that hurts WAY too much to do to your own fingers. If i could give less than one star, i would. Do not recommend for serious nail enthusiasts. read more

Worst service ever. I got a mani and pedi yesterday and the service was bad. The pedicure was not done right and all I heard was him talking about much he ate and how bloated he was the whole time. When I got my gel manicure done there was still polish on skin and when I asked if it would come off he was like yes he will just peel off. Why wouldn't he just remove it. I stopped in yesterday as an impulsive decision to get a gel mani. Best decision! The staff was so friendly and helpful, even though they were super busy. I called in the morning and made an appointment, and when I arrived I was immediately taken for my service- less than a minute wait time. The guy that did my mani was super friendly and thorough, and even when they got busy (there was definitely a 2:00 rush!) I never felt like he was trying to rush through my service. Went for a mani and pedi with my daughter. Andrew did both. Worst I've ever had. He cut two toes and four fingers. By that evening my toe was swollen and throbbing. All the cut areas are red and infected. Still treating them two days later. Andrew talked about being hung over. He should have stayed home. I didn't say anything that day. I don't like to cause problems. Now that I know how bad the cuts are I hope he gets fired. read more

ANDREW IS THE BEST!!!!! I went to a million different nail salons before finally finding Polish! Nail Spa. It is super easy to make an appointment and they honor it each time. Andrew is truly PHENOMENAL. I absolutely love talking to him and he does an AMAZING job. I get acrylics with gel on my nails and sometimes a regular pedicure. He does it all and is so thorough. He does great things! He tries out some cool things on my nails, too. I love the glitter and he thinks of neat things to try every time. He even did my nails for my wedding. They were white with glitter and I got so many compliments. Seriously, I can't say enough good things about him. The shop is clean and relaxing. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. This place is usually pretty good but not this time. I made an appointment, drove 15 minutes to get there. All nail techs were busy with clients. Waited around 10 minutes after my appointment time and finally asked how much longer. No one answered. One of the techs finally got up from a client in process to fill up the foot bath and said that I can have a seat but he still has to do polish on his current client. I was on break from work and couldn't wait any longer so I had to leave. Wasted 45 minutes. Felt like I was on an episode of Seinfeld..."you know how to take the reservation, you just don't know how to hold the reservation. Nails came out fine but holy heck was that an expensive mani pedi. $90 for gel manicure and basic pedicure. I was charged extra for having glitter nail polish put on my nails (why?), and the whole time my nail tech was having a conversation with one of the other girls who works there- she even pulled up a chair at the table where I was getting my nails done! Yesterday my friend, who's like a little sister to me, was in town to celebrate her 18th birthday so when she told me she'd never had a manicure I knew exactly what we would do. We went to a place that didn't have walk-in availability so I messaged a couple of salons on Yelp hoping to get in on short notice. The nice thing was the owner of Polish! immediately replied to my email and said he could accommodate us both in 30 minutes. So we drove to Dublin from the Short North and got there right on time for our appointment. However, when we arrived there were at least 5 other people waiting so we weren't actually seen at our appointment time. When the nail tech called my name from the sign-in list, the owner scolded her for seeing me before the others who were waiting saying "they all have appointments." Not sure why I was offered 2 same-day appointments if they knew they were that understaffed but anyway...The actual techs were great and the teamwork mentality was easily appreciated as they jumped in to help each other to do our manicures. However, the real problem I have with this place is they water their nail polishes down with acetone to make them last longer...right in front of the customer! This meant that when the thick nail polish used on my friend's hand smudged the first time, we went back in to fix it. The gentleman who fixed it was quick and attentive but adding more layers of old, thick, watered down nail polish wasn't a long-term fix. We sat under the dryers for a while and drove all the way home but, alas, her nails smudged again once we arrived at home. That was really frustrating for something that was her 18th birthday gift! To be fair, my manicure turned out ok and did not smudge but then again my nail polish color appeared to be newer/less watered down. Uneven, bad coverage, and I'm not sure what products they use but both my daughter's and my polish had smudged or smeared by the time we got to the car, even after 15 minutes under the dryer! Had Andrew and Lara (not sure if the spelling). They were both extremely friendly. I would definitely come back and ask for these two. Worst experience by far! This is my second time in there. The first time I got a balance, the guy made my nails all crooked and a few longer or way shorter than the others. The second time I went for a balance, they are all even and the shaping is great but this time he had to redo the polish about 5 times because he screwed it up and i just got in my car and all the polish shriveled up and fell off. I have been to this nail salon multiple times now. I have had 4 signature pedicures, 2 gel manicures and 1 eye brow wax. I was very impressed with their esthetician and she did a great job. I would completely strike her from the following review. Something that I have noticed every time that I have been in the salon, is how unprofessional and rude a portion of their staff is, especially in their down time. Unfortunately, I do not have names, as they do not wear name tags, introduce themselves, or display their license (except the esthetician - her credentials were displayed at her station). Staff that are not actively working with someone sit at their stations on their phone, have inappropriate conversations about their personal lives in front of clients, and provide poor customer service. Most recently, I had scheduled an eye brow wax and a pedicure days prior to the July 4th holiday. My appointment was on July 5th and when I arrived, even though I had received 2 confirmation emails regarding my requests, the girl informed me that the esthetician was off that day and made no attempt to correct the issue by apologizing, offering a discount, or explaining why I was just being told at the time of my arrival. Her only advisement was that she could schedule me the next day. I declined. All of the above could have been forgiven, because I work in customer service, and I understand that a salon is a more laid back environment. BUT, I am finally writing this now, because of the following: When the girl who checked me in and "addressed" my eye brow appointment turned to find an employee who was available to complete my pedicure, she was informed that my pedicurist was in the back taking a nap. When this employee came out, he appeared disheveled and hungover. During my pedicure he even admitted to being hungover and advised that he had been on a boat all day previously and wished that he was not at work and at his pool instead. Through my entire pedicure he showed examples that he was either poorly trained or unlicensed. He continuously zoned out and stopped what he was doing over 15 times. The most awkward and uncomfortable situations were during my "massage," leaving my entire leg in his arms, while he starred out the window. Slowly continuing the massage with one finger, like I wouldn't notice that he had almost stopped entirely. The other being when he was buffing my foot. And since I have had 3 signature pedicures at that salon before, I know their procedure, and he was definitely not following it. He displayed no credentials, I was never made aware of his name (and I stupidly did not ask), and I am pretty sure at one point, the sassy girl who checked me in was taking a video on her phone - as she found it be QUITE hilarious that this person was completing my pedicure. The solution is simple, I will receive my services at a different salon from now on. Hoping management will see this and step it up. read more

The pedicure was awesome, toes still look great...had a gel manicure done at the same time, about 2 weeks ago, and everything has chipped. I have never had gel polish be this thick and chip this fast. It wasn't worth spending money on the nails.
