Awful experience. I had an appointment with a friend. They started my manicure and never set up her pedicure the whole time. Once my nails were done they finally asked if she was ready so she obviously declined. The woman who did my manicure cut up my cuticles, missed areas of my nail with paint even after I pointed it out and got polish all over my hands and never cleaned it out. And when the salon is busy someone will come and prep you so thatt if your tech is running late she can just jump in and you don't have to wait long at all. I really wanted to love this place but left disappointed. I had been wanting to try this new place out since I live right down the road. I went in without an appointment and was taken back fairly quickly. I got a classic gel manicure and classic pedicure. The nail tech was nice. But not even a week later my nails are chipping! The worst part is, this place charges outrageously!!! Over $90.00 just for the mani and pedi. This is more than I paid at an over the top nail salon in Scottsdale, AZ. They never disclosed the prices only when I was paying, and the quality does not match its pricing. I don't recommend to anyone! read more

This place is great. I've been to quite a few places for my nails and the one thing I don't like is how thick certain places make my acrylics. This place has always done a great job with being consistent on nail thickness. Besides my picky ways, they are always professional and very welcoming. The prices are affordable. I have invited my sisters and friends to go. My sister had an experience where she didn't like the end result. The owner Tammy was very sweet and resolved her issue by fixing her nails the same day with no extra charge. Needless to say, we will be back! Great place, if there are recommendations that I must say, I'd say to try the dipping powder. It's worth the extra $5-$10. read more

Thy (tee) is a 5-star manicurist! Great attention to detail and gentle. Only giving the salon 3 stars because all of the other manicurists I've seen there have been mediocre at best and downright brutal at worst (hello, older guy, I'm bleeding). I really wanted to like this place, especially since it's down the street from me. Each time I've visited I've left satisfied... not amazed. My last visit, after the quarantine, I made an appt (advised) and was greeted as usual - always very nice. The tech I was assigned to did both my French pedi & mani. Pedi was great...cleaned me up, didn't make tip too thick or thin. The mani I felt was a little rough. He cut my cuticles a little too much a few times to the point where I started to bleed. I would pull away and he continued to be a little rough. As my nails dried he left and when he returned it was obvious that he had gone on a smoke break aside from that, charging $5 extra per service is ridiculous. read more

I have gone several times to this nail salon and this will be the last time i go! Henry did a horrible job, the other lady had to jump in and fix the mess he made. He was so fast, sloppy and left me with a job that I had to go fix elsewhere. This place has gone downhill! After almost a year I decided it was time for a little maintenance work. Polish Spa Lounge opened in the shopping center with Sprouts on Coors and I've been wanting to try it. I had a basic mani/pedi with polish on my toes, I am too hard on my hands to my fingernails polished. It was a Sunday around noon and they were fairly busy. I sat in the massage chair for around 15 minutes until one of the techs was available. I don't mind waiting because I love those chairs. Ann did my mani/pedi and it looks great. Another girl, whose name I failed to get, waxed my brows. I got the obligatory question concerning my 'stache. Seriously, leave my lip hair out of it. My eyesight is getting worse so my 'stache is looking better so, no leave it alone! Total price was $46. They don't have posted prices, just a laminated card that I failed to look at so I really had no idea what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. I would recommend this establishment. read more

I went in this place to get my dip nail soaked off and then a basic manicure. The gentleman who did my nails didn't seem to want to do them and kept switching me from one station to the other. The other nail techs seemed to be telling him he had to do it. That should have been my first warning. But I didn't heed it. He started by using the driller to rough sand the top layer and got part of my skin too. Yes I bled, second warning I didn't heed. Then he proceeded to get the cotton , over soaked and dripping all down my fingers and hands before placing the foils on. Then he only waited 5-6 minutes to try to take the dip coat off. It was not ready so he used the drill again. Then proceeded to file and again cut into my cuticle and it drew blood. After all that fiasco he didn't even put lotion on my hands and fingers, only from the wrist to elbow. Very strange. When he finally got to the nail polish he couldn't even do that right, there was polish on my cuticles and skin. His attempt to clean up the edges was abysmal. By this point I just wanted out of there. That same evening one of my nails already had a piece of polish literally crack off. The next day there were two more nails same thing. I then took the polish off only to discover I still had layers of dip nail on several of the nails. Needless to say I won't be ever going back! It's the worst experience I've ever had in a nail salon. I was polite and even left a tip. I now regret that, the tip that is. read more

I am not your typical nail salon person since I've only have my nails done about once a decade. I was going on a trip and had been working in the yard--and thought a professional job would look nice--I was leaving the next day. I called in the morning for an appointment and they said I didn't need one. When I arrived about 30 minutes later the only person available was a male technican who approached me brusquely. I tried to explain I was a novice at getting my nails done but I had read about gel nails and wanted to know more about them. I had bought an Opi nail polish I wanted to use. He explained I needed a gel polish. I asked to see the gel colors and he handed me a cumbersome to hold sample of nail colors--I was already trying to juggle my purse, sunglasses, water bottle, and the Opi polish as he walked away without a word and sat down at a table furthest from the front door. He didn't offer to help me match the color or help me carry the items I was trying to juggle. I sat down and asked if I could sample the color by applying it to a nail and then wiping it off--he said: NO. Then I told him I needed to see the colors in natural light and I got up to look at them at the front window. He gave me a disgusted look and told me he had light at the table. I came back to the table having picked a color. As he applied it, I could tell if wasn't close the to the color I wanted and he wiped it off. Hmm...guess you can wipe off gel nail polish very easily. He tried another color that did not work and he was becoming visibily agitated with me so I decided to do french tips with clear polish so I didn't have to worry about a color selection. I should have left at the first sign of rudeness when I entered the shop and gone elsewhere--there are plenty of nailsalons on the West Mesa, but...I didn't. To "dry" your nails you have to place them in a space below the table. I kept hitting the opening with my nails--try as I could to to center them slowly and carefully. As I think back now--I probably did not have to center my hand between the opening--but just rest my hand on the bottom of the opening and slide my hand in...but I'd never done this before. He applied the white tip to one hand and I slide it in the dryer and hit the tip of a nail on the opening. As I withdrew my hand, he screams pushing his chair back forcefully: You've ruined it! I can't do this anymore! He rushes from the salon to a back room where he can be heard screaming and pounding viscously on the wall. I'm pleading (tears running down my face) with the other technicans to remove the polish so I can leave. I look around the room and all the technicans are going about their work like nothing is happening (no one even looks up and makes eye contact)--even the customers seem unconcerned--as their fellow employee is using his fists on a wall to show his anger in a room full of clients. All of a sudden he stops banging, comes up to me, and tells me the service is free. Free--I have one hand with white tips and one hand without. I tell him to just take it off. I'm not sure why he isn't removing the polish, but am afraid to ask as he files off the white tips and applies another clear coat over the filings leaving "bumps" on my nails. I finally leave, I pull out $40 and ask a customer waiting to give him the money. Ironically, she is the first person to seem concerned that I have tears and am visibly upset. Why leave money? I have no idea why for sure, perhaps, going through my mind was: I didn't want the technican to be able to say I was this terrible customer who was difficult so I wouldn't have to pay. As I am writing this review, my heart is pounding, as I relive this horrible experience even though it happened three weeks ago before I left on my trip. I have two questions for this salon: 1. Why did no other employee come over to talk to me/help me and try to remedy the situation--even though I pleaded? 2. Does this technican still work at the salon? Reviews online indicate there have been previous problems with this technican. I hope this review serves as a reminder to a business that the protection and well being of the customer/client comes first and the fist that hits a wall can hit a person if something isn't done to help this employee over his anger problems and redirect him to another line of work where is not dealing with the public. read more

My friend and I have been going here for last couple of months because we liked the service and people. However, this last week we had the worst experience! We scheduled an appointment a week ahead of time only to wait OVER an hour! They were so busy that the nail tech (once one was helping me) was jumping between myself and another customer. My friend's tech was doing same thing except working on a customer's feet and NOT washing her hands in between feet and her hands! Disgusting! Needless to say, the service was the worst with it costing me $55 for basically a color change and NOTHING done to my nails, cuticles etc. This place needs to learn to honor their appointment times and let walk ins sit and wait instead of taking them 10 minutes before an appointment and then the appointments wait an hour or more! So sad because we liked them and were greatly disappointed and now have to go pay again for another good nail service that we did NOT get there! And as a footnote, they charged us an extra $10 to soak off while we waited the extra hour for our appointment, Think twice! Other places charge about $15 less for dipped nails and certainly nothing spectacular about this place to pay this much more! read more

I wish I liked this nail salon more. I've been here twice and both times have been "meh" experiences. Today, I showed up for my 11:30am mani/pedi only to find they never scheduled the appointment. I even called twice about the appointment (once to schedule the pedi, and again to add the mani). They still said they'd be able to get me in, which I thought was great. 25 minutes later waiting in lukewarm water, my pedicure finally began. My nails weren't cut straight and their basic pedicure was the most bare-boned pedicure I've ever received. The nail tech left nail polish all over my fingers during my manicure. At the end, I asked for the fan to be on so my nails dry faster (they don't have nail drying stations - another negative). My nail tech left and then another nail tech came over and turned it off without asking me. I told her I requested to have the fan on, and she still did not turn the fan back on. Overall, a negative experience. Sure, they can put polish on nails (and they didn't even do that with precision), but that's really the bare minimum, isn't it? read more

This is a nice location, which is why I went back maybe 3 times. I went in one Saturday morning right at 9am when the location open and waited nearly 3 hours, to say the least, I have not been back since. Prior to that encounter, the service was fair! The owner comes and goes throughout the day while she has customers in her chair actually being helped or when the place is full instead of helping everyone then tending to her personal business afterwards - I get everyone has a personal life, but I witnessed her do this each times I was there. As far as the workers, each time I walked in, I could overhear them arguing over who wanted to tend to me (super unprofessional) and on my last occasion there, the service was not tip worthy therefore I chose not to tip and when asked "Would you like to leave a tip?" I declined and the lady rolled her eyes with a scoff and turned to the lady behind her and said "she's not leaving a tip." I will not be going back. read more

I've been to a lot of salons over the years. A considerate patron either sets an appointment or arrives prepared for whatever wait is necessary. I am probably a rare one when it comes to pedicures. Never had one in my life (and I'm 65!), but was finally convinced by my sister that I needed to go somewhere; plus, I was tired of doing my own. I just happened across this salon, as it is brand new in a new shopping center (on Coors between Montano and Dellyne, where new Sprouts and Pet Smart are) that is still being built. The salon is beautiful, very clean. The owner very professional. Tom was my pedicurist and he was great! I had gel polish (first experience with that too) and it has lasted over a month. Yes, I need to go back. Going to do that next week. I highly recommend this business. It's fresh, it's new, it's classy/clean! Place was decent. Very new and nice looking. I went in for a pedicure and they offer a variety of options. I got the most expensive package, can't remember the name, which is supposed to be their luxurious and best one. They basically just add a scent and use hot stones that were way too hot when applied to my legs and didn't even really get used because I couldn't take the heat every time she tried. About halfway through my pedicure, they started getting busy and the whole atmosphere just got chaotic. They seemed to be short staffed and were trying to work on different clients at once which was a little stressful, even for the customers and a bit of a turn off. Me and my friend that I went with were just kind of left sitting there after our pedicures without even being cashed out or acknowledged until we had to ask a different employee to help us. My pedicure was decent but I think one of their basic packages would probably be just fine for me. I think this place has potential so I will probably give it another shot at some point in hopes that they were just having an off day. read more
