I went in on a Monday afternoon; they were empty so no problem fitting me in. To have my old gel x set removed and to have gel x medium coffin one solid color plus tip was $100. That is overpriced; I've had more complicated designs with more care put into them other places. The nail technician was nice but seemed over doing my nails before she started. She even started fixing her own nails in the middle of doing mine. And she seemed a bit caught off guard by me checking my nails to make sure I liked how they were coming out. Overall, the job was fine but overpriced. Do not recommend. Will not return. read more

Firstly, this place is a bit expensive, but completely worth it. I always base my experience on the customer service and of course the work. Both are so excellent and my nail technician was SOOO patient with me in helping me choose a particular color that I wanted. I also love that it's owned by two women, so of course it's a business to support. It's definitely a place to come and treat yourself to. They also offer you something to drink, which is a sweet gesture. My acrylic nails were done so perfectly that they almost look natural. If you have the money, definitely splurge here. Also, I had gone to Le My Nails, which is down the street for years to save some money, but never go there PLEASE. They have the worse service, as they are extremely rude and unprofessional. I understand that every workplace has rules and protocols, but it's disheartening as a customer to witness staff being treated disrespectfully. However, they decide to switch my technician (without asking me nor telling me they were switching techs). I didn't think too much of it because what I asked for was a simple single color manicure. While prepping my nails, the tech breaks one of my nails, doesn't apologize or try to fix it she cuts it. Moving on to actually painting the nails, she has to redo it several times, remember this is just a simple paint job, no design or even gel. I was not given a top coat either. I got a full set of acrylic nails done. Over 1/2 of the nail tips were "off" - either glued on crooked Or pointing Up at an approximate angle of 120*. Several nails had acrylic material under the tips - even after I pointed it out and asked her to fix it. She used the electric drill to Smooth the acrylic Under my nails a little bit. But, that's it. (She acted like she was doing me a "favor".) Most of the nails,m were not covered completely with the acrylic - so there were gaps on the sides of my nails. ** I was getting my nails done For My Wedding. ** Lucky for me - I didn't get any close up pictures with my nails in them. I paid $195 dollars (that's including a 10 percent discount) for a gel full set me and my oldest daughter, My youngest daughter got gel mani and gel pedi and a gel pedi for me. Funny story... but true.... I made an appointment here weeks ago. Spoke with the owner and she confirmed my appointment by text. Here comes the date to go an have my mani/pedi and for the life of me, I couldn't remember where I had made an appointment. So, I went to Yelp, picked out this place and asked them if they had an opening for 2 pm. They did. I asked if I was on their schedule... and I was not. I felt bad for the other place, which ever one it was, but I took the 2 PM. When I got there, I realized by the name of the owner, that this was the place I had made my appointment originally, but somehow it didn't make it to the schedule?? Anyway, all's well that ends well. I did have to wait for about 25 minutes, but I was offered Mimosas, wine etc. which helped kill the time. I wanted to relax. I forgot the name of my technician, but I have to say she was skilled as far as my nails were concerned. She was very polite and we carried on a nice conversation. As a last minute add on, I asked for an eye brow waxing. Maybe she was a little hurried at this point. Initially I thought they looked good, but when I got home, I noticed a few chunks out of the bottom of my brown. Also, my sensitive skin left a few blood bruises on my upper lids. Not her fault. I had a 1:45 appointment for a regular manicure and waxing and I had to wait 45 minutes to get started. We finished my manicure and I let the nail tech know I also was there for waxing. Nail tech said she doesn't do waxing. The young lady at the desk told me it would be a 30 min wait because the staff was working on someone's nails. I declined and said so it was because I had already waited 45 minutes for my appointment. This was my second time at Polished and I don't think I'll be going back. I had an appointment at 0930 and immediately as I walked in I was informed to wash my hands and they checked my temperature. Each manicure and pedicure station has a shield to protect the worker and client while enabling a social distance to other customers. If you are in a rush or like your nails to be done fast this spot is got you! Instead of soaking my acrylics off they have a fast & efficient way to take them off that some people may or may not like since it did take off some of my real nail tips. My gel polish on my feet was easily taken off with a drill tool. I got the regular pedicure and I enjoyed it! It included a hot towel as well as a scrub and everything else that typically is included in a pedicure. My nails were shaped and filed how I liked them and she made sure to ask if they were ok before proceeding with gel polish. I got a thin layer of this clear dip powder before my gel polish was applied since my nails were broken from the acrylics being taken off. Overall I would come back! The total was $110 and I left a $20 tip. I think this pricing is very good considering i had to take off gel and acrylics as well as the dipping powder under and gel polish for both sets. The owners opened early and the space was clean. I will say they don't play any music or anything like that that typical nail salons don't have but I didn't mind! Porto's which is a famous bakery that has good coffee and treats is down the street so you can enjoy a good snack after your salon day! All in all, I had a great experience! read more
