Unbelievably, when the second delivery arrived, the drinks were missing again. The second driver told us that he informed the restaurant the order was missing drinks, but one of the employees insisted that the drinks were already in the bag. That was a complete lie. There were absolutely no drinks in the bag. At that point, I was extremely frustrated. How does the same mistake happen twice on the same order? The delivery driver even said he was going to go back to the restaurant because he knew the drinks were missing. I contacted DoorDash again, only to be told they could not send another driver just for the drinks. I then tried calling Mico's HOt Chicken directly, but there was no way to speak with an actual person. The phone only goes to a voicemail recording, making it impossible to address the issue with the restaurant. I am honestly disgusted and appalled by the lack of accountability and customer service. I even provided photos showing exactly what was received. After being a repeat customer, I expected much better. Missing items once is frustrating; having the exact same mistake repeated after a redelivery is completely unacceptable. Very disappointing experience. Everything started fine. Our server checked on us regularly. She couldn't answer any questions about the menu. She said she was new and didn't know it. Why would you hire a server who doesn't know the menu on the last week of service? That doesn't make sense. She repeatedly said that the whole time like how people say they couldn't do something because they were short staffed. The chicken fried chicken and chicken pot pie were solid. That was the entrees we chose, and some of us ordered a chicken pot pie to go. Apparently, we ordered the last few ones. Interesting because they just opened at 11 am, and we ordered to go right after the deviled egg appetizers, 15 minutes from opening. She tried to close out our tickets without asking about dessert.
