It was my first time trying place and will personally not return back. A little modifications can go a long way. The place inside needed to be cleaned up. There was leftover food from previous customers at 3 tables, food on the floor and booths not cleaned with a towel. It wasn't busy to pardon it and no trash bins are located in the premise. Secondly, comparing to other rotisserie chicken venues I've tried (big chain or family owned), there is a fresh salsa bar, which always pairs well with chicken. Tried this business through Uber eats as I was staying at a hotel nearby and I was a bit disappointed. I ordered the grilled chicken and ended up with fried Chicken with rice and beans. So here is my review based on what I ate. The fried chicken was a bit over cooked and very crunchy. If the chicken wouldn't have been overcooked I'm sure it would have been better tasting. However what I ate was just below average. The rice and beans were average as well and well I would have to say the service is average or below since I was prepared a different meal than what I ordered. Not great, and I'm reviewing this place compared to other Pollo Campero. Maybe they're not dredging the chicken enough, but the pieces were super oily and gave me pretty severe stomach cramps. You can also see in the pictures how dirty the interior is: Spills everywhere on the countertop, uncleaned tables. Located on Harriman st in San Bernardino Next to curaçao. First time I've tried this Guatemalan chicken and it's very very good. My only complain is that there wasn't enough food on my plate. Highly recommended by my son who said this was his favorite to go to for fried chicken. Despite of a 3- star YELP ratings I still would like to give it a try. It's an over the counter order and we were greeted warmly by the cashier. Well, just got the 4- pc combo meal with 2 sides order of the fried platanos, a roll and a drink! Dining area is spacious with several tables to seat a crowd. Place is clean. A server picks up your order from the counter then bring it to your table.... Nice service!!! Fried chicken was not greasy with every bite. Very crispy skin which was yummmy and meat is flavorly tender. I was in heaven with the fried sweet platanos , my favorites of all times.
