We Always go to this location and when my mom is there she usually gets her Senior Discount so this past Friday we went around 6pm and she asked for her senior discount she bought a 22 family meal and the lady in-charge denied it to her and said they only give senior discounts when they make a purchase for herself only with an attitude I personally work at a Fast food Restaurant and we NEVER deny the discount unless they arent seniors it doesnt matter what purchase they make ! Today I got to try this place. I decided to do both grilled and fried chicken to I can see the difference. The fried chicken was a lot like broster chicken. I ordered 10 pieces of legs and thighs (chicken only) and I paid $22 just for that. We also ordered 5 camperitos (almost like chicken nuggets) for about $6. I paid close to $30 for chicken only, no sides. The cashier was friendly but the lady working with him was not. She was busy talking about some drama she was having, and she was definitely not in the mood to be at work. Her attitude was gross. I saw her roll her eyes at a customer and she didn't care. They gave us the wrong order and have poor customer service. My husband used to go to Texas for business and loved going to Campero. We stopped by this location on our way to our mountain house. We ordered grilled chicken and had to wait because more was being made. We took our 8 piece meal with us up to the mountains. Once we arrived, we opened the container to find that they gave us FRIED chicken. I don't eat gluten and obviously was not going to drive back down the mountain to exchange it. After pandemic Campero :( Disappointed to report that this location's service and quality has gone down. Over the past month I've been here 3 times and every time they've gotten my order wrong and the overall quality/freshness has also declined. Before I really loved their grilled chicken, when I ordered it recently, it was undercooked and they didn't even have limes available (had to stop at the grocery store bc without the lime it's just not the same) I asked for lime and the staff was apologetic stating that they don't actually provide lime anymore and even stated how it shows lime on the picture menu and customers always ask for it. Guess this location is doing anything to cut costs. The staff seems overwhelmed and they don't project friendliness, although there are a couple staff who try and provide as much as they can. Next visit, no more grilled chicken for the night, ordered around 730pm, I guess- ok! Maybe they don't wanna cook more but they should have a cutoff time. They forgot my sides entirely, when I went back the guy said the girl told him to put it in the other bag (wrong bag) and he quickly got my sides. Last visit, I ordered on app, took them 15 more minutes than what app says it would be ready. I asked for all thighs and was given 2 legs and 1 thigh. Chicken was cold and looked old and tattered.
