I mostly order delivery from this locale. I REALLY love the tallarin verde (green spaghetti) with shrimp - very generous portions. Lots of good stuff on the menu, similar to the main restaurant in Torrance, but not as extensive and very casual. We ordered the 1/2 chicken BBQ combo w/ 2 sides for $9.99 and added premium sides, only $1.50 more for each. Regular sides consist of French fries, steamed veggies, corn, white rice, brown rice, beans and house salad. Premium sides are fried yuca, fried plantains, and cilantro rice. I ordered the half chicken with beans and premium side -fried plantains. The others ordered half chicken with premium sides plantains and cilantro rice. Overall fabulous!! The chicken was a generous portion as well as the sides. We had leftovers enough for another meal the second day! The combo also comes with cilantro soup- warm comfort soup with small chunks of potato, carrot, and chicken. Annnnnd can't forget the Aji spicy sauce or the infamous green sauce. That sauce is soooo good ! It's a secret fam recipe that will never be shared with the public. Haven't been here for years and since I was in the area I decided to come here for the Peruvian style rotisserie chicken with cilantro rice, cilantro rice soup and that bomb aji sauce. Even though this location has a drive thru I rather walk in to order because that line was long. I ordered and it took less than 10 minutes to get my food. Once I got home I tried all the items and it was still the same and delicious. The rice is super flavorful and soft and fluffy. The chicken was a bit on the dry side but went so perfect with the aji sauce. I can just drink that sauce up. I also love the cilantro rice soup because it reminds me of Chinese rice porridge so it has a comfort food feeling as I eat it. This place is worth checking out and affordable. read more

Then they called us, they took our order before they seated us. We had to pay before we were seated and I also was asked if I wanted to leave a tip so I did. My bf and I were having dinner. We both felt discriminated. First because we got our drinks on Togo plastic cups. The table in front and next to us had glass/plastic cups. We got our food pretty quick. The food was good. La la love this spot!! Defined high quality Peruvian food for a fast food joint! They're lomo saltado is everything!! And their green cilantro sauce is a must have!! I always ask for extra because I'm Extra so it's only right haha.. They are a little pricey but they are worth it. You can tell the put love and time in their food. Great spot to get your El Pollo Inka fix with a quick drive-thru trip or a quick stop inside. The pricing is a bit cheaper than the sit down restaurants, though the quality of the food is on par. You still receive the chicken cilantro soup with your meal, though I've noticed it does seems a bit more on the watery side than a thicker soup texture as with the other locations. The drive through line can get a bit longer at night as once the walk in closes, it does get a bit packed in the drive-thru with everyone trying to satisfy their late night cravings. Overall a solid spot to get your Peruvian feast on while being able to safely adhere to the covid standards by staying in your car. read more

Today was my first time trying Inka Express after a pretty long time. I tried calling a couple, but I was having a very hard time getting through to someone (5th time was a charmer) I had a lomo saltado beef and I thought it was good. The meat was seasoned well, and the fries were delicious as well. However, the meat was a bit too dry. It almost felt like the meat had been cooked separately and sitting to then be mixed in the the fresh fries. Their "sopa de pollo" is good as it has diced potatoes and chicken ( very delicious when you warm it up). Their green salsa is epic, I also request extras and you should too. I love el pollo Inka, but I feel like they are getting skimpy with their portions. I have been going here for years and the food always tastes a little different each time because it is cooked to order. Just add a little salt and we're good. I went to the drive through to pick up some meals for dinner time. The drive through is easily accessible but the lines are usually long. I believe this has to do with the fact that it isn't really fast food your getting. I did notice the prices increased a tad bit. The pollo meal is now 7.99$ but it used to be $6.25. I ordered a 1/4 chicken meal with veggies and salad. You can get 3 sides for just a bit more. I also ordered the 1/2 chicken meal with veggies and salad. There was only 2 cars in front of me. When I pulled up I was asked to sign the receipt and then I was on my way. I opened the bags to find side soups and no salad. I really hate when I get to go food and they miss up on the order. I live far from the restaurant so there was no way for me to return. The pollo saltado comes with fries and onion mixed with the sautéed chicken. The onions were way too caramelized that were almost burned. Overall is a good place to order to go food that doesn't feel like fast food. I never had Peruvian food but a coworker suggested it today. I was hungry and said "I'll buy, you fly". So I gave him my credit card and away he went. He brought me back a chicken and vegetable plate with rice. And there were French fries mixed in wither the chicken! I gotta say, whatever the meat was marinated in was amazing! The chicken was grilled along with all types of veggies. The rice was firm and not mealy. The meal came with a chicken rice soup which was so tasty I slurped up the rest of the broth. There was also this side of green sauce that I slathered al over the entire plate of rice, meat and veggies. It was spicy and really added to the food. I think the cost was about $10 for the entire meal. I was full and happy and the only downside is I needed a nap. I asked if they left a tip and he said no, there was a drive through and it wasn't delivered! Imagine that dish from a takeout window! Try it.
