Additionally, the chicken fried steak melted on our tongues like butter. The meat was not over cooked, tender and the steak cut smoothly on our knives. The umami flavor of the steak and the robust yet well rounded seasoning of the breading paired nicely with the buttery mashed potatoes and the white gravy that accompanied the meal. We have enjoyed eating at this restaurant many times. I have never had overcooked or undercooked chicken. Each time, I am greeted with a kind smile and service is quick especially on busy times.
