I come here frequently and it's either a hot mess or outstanding service. Doesn't matter what time of day or what day in the week it is. There is one lady there named Ania (I think that's her name) that's outstanding. The cashier people are just accepting orders and taking money, giving her endless amounts of online orders and she preparing all of them by herself. She does not stop, she's a robot and still has time to smile while give you your orders that is always right. She is the only one that reviews it with you and makes sure your order is right before you leave the counter. I honestly look forward to seeing she the one that has prepped my order. She should be commended on her hard work and ethic. People like this is the reason why I come back. read more

I liked the place. I'm visiting from California for work and happened to be shopping next door. The place was packed but I had my to go order within about 10 minutes and was out the door. The guy at the counter was friendly and the food was tasty. The chicken was super tender and I liked the waffle fries, although they didn't give me very many. read more

The service is slow and one of the lady's working there was very rude when we arrived. If you try to get an early lunch in, they never have food ready and you find your self waiting for quite a while. It's even worse if you go by drive through. I hope these issues get addressed soon. read more

During our stay in FL, my wife and I kept seeing these restaurants all over the place. We had stopped at some more popular places, but finally decided to stop by. You can't miss them as they are nearly on every other block with long lines through the drive through. We ordered the half chicken plate with two sides, black beans and yellow rice with vegetables. The chicken was crispy where it needed to be and juicy on the inside. Really good! Surprisingly, the black beans were better here than other main stream restaurants. The yellow rice and vegetables were alright, but still good. Overall, we were glad to had stopped by, and if we are looking for a quick bite again, this will be the place. read more

The food here is excellent. But let me tell you why I give it two stars. The service. Especially the drive thru. I've literally sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes before moving up ONE car spot. They take forever to take your order once you've finally reached the speaker. Just now I asked for SOME cilantro sauce, and the lady gave me one. I asked for another and she gave me a face and reached for another. As she was doing this she complained to someone next to her saying "I give them one and they keep asking for more" mind you she said this in Spanish. I'm very fluent in Spanish and replied in Spanish "I understand every word you just said" not too long ago I asked for sauces and they were going to charge me EXTRA after the fact that I ready paid. I told them in that case I'll go inside myself and get as much sauce as I want! If anyone from Pollo is reading this, please tighten up. read more

the food is delouse but the problem is that its always full and when you ask for a large order fried yucas the give you like at least 6ths or 7 and that's a waste of money I would just make them at home at my own comfort, but overall I would recommend it . read more

We're on vacation and we have a 3 hour drive ahead of us and someone had recommended pollo tropical so we decided to give it a try. We decided to go through the drive thru because some of us are still in bathing suits and we didn't want to get dressed. The first problem we had was that the worker couldn't hear us through the speaker, after getting about 3/4 of our order through with a struggle we asked to just pull forward and they agreed. When we got to the window the worker gave us our total and we had to tell her we still had to order more meals because they couldn't hear us through the speaker. We tried ordering a kids pollo bite meal but we were told they were sold out, so we got the boneless meal instead. When we finally finished ordering and paid they handed us our drinks and asked that we pull forward while they finished the food because the pollo bites (that they were out of) we're still cooking. We pulled forward and waited for our food to come out, when it finally did we had been waiting about 10 minutes. The boy said most of our food was i there, they were just waiting on on sandwich. While we waited we checked our other meals and I noticed that my chicken blt sandwich had grilled chicken (i ordered crispy), one piece of bacon, and no tomato. When the last sandwich finally came out after about 5 more minutes they hadn't given us our last thing of fries but all of us were so over waiting that we decided to go on without them. I understand how hard fast food workers have to work but our total wait time was about 35 minutes and in my own opinion, that's way too much time for a fast food places' drive thru. I'd try pollo tropical again but i'll never return to this location. read more
