Polos has an extensive menu. Friendly service . I wish my food was hotter . It wasn't super hot. The carnitas were good. Just not served hot temperature. My second cup of coffee was cold too. But otherwise good restaurant. Full bar which is nice for brunch. Offers take

Clean place with nice servers. About 6 tables of guests, so maybe halfway full. Took a while for order to be taken and longer for food to come out. Started out strong with delicious spicy street empanadas and tempura cauliflower. It just wasn't a tempera batter though it's a wet batter. Crab sandwich and fries were a little plain. Had to season and it helped adding hot sauce. It was just ok, I wouldn't order it again. Tea varieties were tasty. Pasta primavera also was a little bland and needed seasoning. Not a fan of the cheese bread...I've never said that before about any cheese bread sadly. I'll still be back to try some other interesting items or maybe just stick to apps. Thank you.

I was happy to return to this restaurant since we had such a nice experience last time. The interior is not overly large but they have plenty of seating outside too. The one thing that is still unchanged is that all the employees here are super friendly and happy, always smiling, and I never needed to ask for a refill on my water. We ordered: Pear/prosciutto salad Pork belly sandwich Carnitas burrito Our server was delightful. He recommended the carnitas burrito to me so I said sure! It was quite a substantial burrito covered in a gorgeous red sauce. Delicious! My dining companions loved their meals too. The friend that ordered the salad worked on it the entire time and it still looked like a full untouched salad. The arugula and pears looked fresh and tasty. It is a beautiful salad. We were not rushed out and a nice gentleman kept coming over to quietly check on us and make sure our water glasses were full. We appreciated the nice photo they took of us too. Thank you Polo's Corner. We will be back again very soon!

I had Polo's on my list to try because they have Cioppino on the menu. They also have Beef Stroganoff. I love both things and make them at home. However, it's June. Neither appealed today. Both are winter dishes for me. I opted to try the pork belly fries and a side salad. The fries were extra crispy (double fried?) and come topped with cheddar cheese, ranch, and pork belly. The flavors balanced nicely. I just wish they had topped them with some chopped chives or chopped green onion tops. Either added an extra dimension of flavor. The side salad was really fresh and the citrusy salad dressing served with it adds a brightness that makes a good dish even better. I just went with a Sprite to drink, but they had some appealing mocktails on the menu. Maybe next time. Service was friendly and it's strip mall location guarantees good parking. They are a solid 3.5, hopefully trending up

Great fresh food and attentive service, we never had to ask for a refill. The Carnitas tacos were the best I've ever had! Sorry no pictures of them we ate them too fast. We also got the buffalo cauliflower so yummy. We all really enjoyed our food. The atmosphere is comfortable, simple and very clean. I highly recommend everyone try it out, you won't be disappointed.

We have eaten at Polo's Corner several times, mostly for dinner but a couple times for breakfast. What keeps us coming back? The dinners are always particularly outstanding, the service is extremely attentive in a very gentle and earnest way you only get from a close-knit family business, and the food is just consistently good. Tonight we went with my father in law who is in town visiting - who asked to come back (he went here with us before), and he got the steak again. I got the wagyu burger (I said yes to bacon!) and my stepdaughter got the smash burger, and we both basically polished them off. Instead of a fries I got a side salad - which wasn't an afterthought either - crisp spring mix lettuce, tomatoes, etc - everything seemed farm fresh. Got a "calamary" for the table and it was outstanding - this was some of the most succulent squid I have had in a long time, the breading was light and delicate, and the aioli was just perfect. We splurged for dessert, why not (pictured a few here). Dad ordered the molten chocolate cake, stepdaughter ordered the limoncello cake, wife ordered the affogato (not my thing, but she loves 'em) and I had the apple tart, and we shared them all. Although it was a close call, I think the limoncello cake was the best, and all of these desserts look like they were prepared by Michelin chefs. Polo's Corner is very unassuming - it's set in a somewhat out of the way spot near the Lucky's on Portola Avenue - easy to miss. It really deserves to be on First Street - this is a heavy hitter! Great job Polo's Corner!

I love this place. Delicious food, quick service, relaxed atmosphere and good drinks! I didn't enjoy it the first time my bf and I came here because my food was overcooked, but it was pretty busy!! However, upon my second visit it's proven to me that this spot is well worth it to dine

Came here for JC graduation lunch, and had a great meal. Our water and drink glasses were always full. The food was amazing, especially the Waygu smash burger, the roast beef sandwich and black and Bleu salad. Will come back Ooh and the pot stickers were great too

This is a good place to meet up with friends for brunch or lunch. The menu caters to a wide range of taste. I really enjoyed the Pear & Prosciutto Salad. Never had it before & was really surprised with the combination of flavors. Service was super friendly. The manager came over to our table & inquired about experience. He also told us that they serve other Spanish dishes like paella & gambas though it is not on the menu. They even cater. I thought that was really friendly & hospitable.

I enjoyed my time at Polo's. I always try the mimosas anywhere I go and I choose the mimosa flight. There are several flavors to choose from. O had grapefruit, passion fruit, and pineapple. All very good and strong enough. My omelet was also good.

Will they have an Easter Sunday Buffet in 2026? How much for adults?

Can you order from the lunch menu for breakfast?

My guess is yes, since we were allowed to order breakfast during lunch. They seem very accommodating :)

Even before our visit, the staff we spoke with on the phone came across as rude and unhelpful. Thankfully, once we were seated, our waitress was very nice, attentive, and probably the best part of the experience. The food, however, was very disappointing. My wife ordered the steak medium-well, but it came out medium-rare, which was frustrating because her requested temperature seemed to have been completely ignored. I ordered the Marin Coast Halibut. The fish lacked seasoning to the point that I had to ask for salt just to give it some flavor. The sauce was also completely cold, which made the dish even less enjoyable. For a restaurant at this price point, I expected much better execution. For dessert, we tried the Milk & Honey. It sounded interesting, but the honeycomb component basically tasted like hardened sugar and was overwhelmingly sweet rather than adding anything special to the dessert. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and our waitress provided good service, but between the difficulty getting a reservation, the unpleasant phone interaction, improperly cooked steak, and disappointing food, I don't understand the high ratings. For the price and reputation, we expected a much better meal. Unfortunately, I don't think we would return.

This location is in one of my favorite quaint downtowns in the Bay Area, Livermore, and really delivers on the comfort food front with lots of creative riffs on American classics that will make your cardiologist shake their head in disappointment. The Good: * Happy Hour M-Fri 2:30 p.m. - 5 p.m. * Outdoor dog-friendly seating * Online reservations and waitlist via Toast (access through their website) * Seasonal menus so there is always something new to try. * Friendly service * Full bar with signature cocktails, as well as local beers and ciders on tap. * The brisket dinner wasn't quite what I was expecting, as it was more of a pot roast than a BBQ classic, but man, it was one of the best pot roasts I've ever had. The beef was smoky, succulent, and melted in your mouth. The concomitant jalapeño mashed potatoes were a fantastic accompaniment, as you got all the flavor of the jalapeño but just enough heat to make it an excellently balanced dish. * The BBQ beans were more of a bean soup, but delicious and smoky nonetheless. The Meh: * Limited menu for vegetarians and vegans The Ugly: * Street parking can be tough to come by, especially on weekends, but if you don't mind walking, there is a free city-run garage on Maple St. that has tons of spots and is shaded from those hot Livermore summers. Conclusion: Great place to get drunk, fat, and happy. Need I say more? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

In-house we haven't had much issue, but I don't know what's going on with door dash/delivery orders. Almost every time, there's an issue. My littles absolutely love the mini corn dogs, and even though the listing says "with fries" they've suddenly stopped delivering with fries for the past few months ( and don't allow customer notes.) It's also a 50/50 chance the mini corn dogs will be dark and hard... I have a sensitive stomach with dietary restrictions, so I find great comfort that I can get the seared ahi tuna tacos while my husband enjoys a hamburger... but the last few orders have been so wrong. Once I was missing avocado, next I was missing the sauce, and this time my tuna was completely raw, not seared with hard jasmine rice and very tiny avocado slices. I always put input in to DoorDash, but I don't think it's getting to the restaurant... and it's reached a point where I feel like I have to leave this review and maybe find a new go to for quick family dinners. I enjoy visiting, the staff is always so kind and the kids like the back patio. Perfect vibe for a laid back dinner.. but why are the to-go orders so terrible suddenly? Absolutely heartbreaking.
