I could not have been happier with the results of their work. They are not the cheapest in town, but they carry Workmen's Comp. for their employees and many of their team have been with them for many years. That speaks well for the way they are treated. They were so popular, I had to wait for their booking and it was worth it. Had a great team who were on time and done in less than 2 hours (cutting the trees, trimming the trees from the fence side and the pathway) The supervisor was very nice and communicated well... Poly Timber Tree Service sent a representative who arrived at the appointed time to provide an in-person free estimate. The representative was very knowledgeable and provided expert opinion about the lacing and trimming of a 100-year-old 70-foot Deodar cedar tree. I was very impressed with his professional demeanor. His written estimate was unfortunately the highest of five companies that provided estimates otherwise I would have selected this company to do the job. He added that his crew would complete the job in half a day which would have been faster than all the other companies. I would rate them a 5 had his price been a bit more competitive though I have a feeling his work might have been excellent. I would definitely consider this company for another job as I hire tree trimmers every other year to shape and care for the extensive vegetation around my house. read more

He gave me a very competitive quote and a week later I had his team come and did a couple tall trees and trimmed a bunch of overgrown podocarpus trees. Great experience using Poly Timber and would definitely recommend them! I had a small tree in the front yard I wanted removed because the thing was growing like a weed and potentially causing my current plumbing headache. They came out to give me an estimate and the next week, they were able to come over and remove the tree. Whole thing was out and cleaned up in about 2 hours. Very speedy, efficient & clean. This review is for the initial estimate and meet with Ricky for the removal of my giant tree. Just to clarify, I didn't get a chance to use his services this time, so I can't review on his work. I sent out a request for a quote on Yelp! (great feature, stress free and easy)-and was contacted right away by the owner, Ricky. I was able to meet him face to face the same day, and he was able to provide me with a reasonable written estimate which broke down his services. He took his time and was very good and thorough at explaining what he was going to do, and even was able to suggest ways of keeping the costs down for me (as I knew it was a $$$ job). Ricky was not pushy and was able to advise me on what things I should look for when searching for any company: Licensed? Bonded/Insured? Work comp? Wow. I searched Yelp for somebody to properly prune two of my young trees and after reading various reviews, I chose Poly Timber. So glad I did! Ricky responded within minutes and was even able to come to my property right away for a free estimate. He understood my concerns, proposed what had to be done (and whether or not it was the proper time of year to prune the type of trees I have), and gave me an estimate. He then mentioned that he may not be able to do the job for a couple of weeks, but after hearing him talk about trees, I decided it would be worth the wait. So I hired him. Luckily for me (and my trees), he was able to do the job much sooner than he originally planned. Within 24 hours, my trees and I were happy. The crew was very respectful and knowledgeable about what needed to be done and they left no debris on the ground. They even created a support for one the young trees to train it grow straight. I found Poly Timber Tree Service when they were working on a neighbors trees. When I contacted them they were quick to respond. Within the week they came for a free quote and after getting a few quotes to compare. I scheduled for them to help me with my tree removal needs. Everyone I interacted with was extremely friendly and straightforward. Oscar came out for the initial quote, Ricky did the walk through before the job started and Cruz did the final walk through.
