Both were 5/5 great, service was really warm and welcoming, and each plate was $10 and came with salad and rice. Get the Koobideh if you want a moist, great tasting meat! Pom & Olive is a big yes!!!! First time visit today was fantastic! I read the Yelps and picked up lunch for the office - everything was great! The falafel was moist and not overdone, and the sandwiches are slathered with tzadziki and roasted eggplant pieces - mmmmmmm! The Baba Ghanouj was superb, and the stuffed olives all were a perfect accompaniment to our sandwiches! The Sharma was wonderful, and a taste of my friend's chicken was out of this world. And best of all, the hummus was made just right - perfect amount of seasoning and oil, you could taste it. The hummus and pita fries (fun and great!) come with any entree! This is a very interesting restaurant. We came here on a Saturday night during dinner time and there's was only 2 other parties here. I was a little skeptical because of the lack of other customers but I was impressed by the food! We checked in on Yelp and pita fries with hummus which were pretty good but got heavy. for the main dish, we got boneless chicken kabob plates and the chicken was seasoned very well. If you've ever seen Kitchen Nightmares, this is the restaurant before Gordon Ramsay's team swoops in on a golden chariot to save the day. Ok so I'm pretty sure I've reviewed this place previously and I wasn't impressed at all the last time. So I wanted to make sure I posted another review because since the last time I've been here they have made some changes to their recipes or their chef in a good way. Everything we had was amazingly delicious and fresh! We had the koobideh combo which has chicken & beef ground shish kabobs, chicken breast kabobs, tzatziki (yogurt&cucumbers), hummus and baklava. I'm not sure exactly what they did but the flavors of all their food is amazing. The kabobs were super flavorful and juicy. Make sure you get raw onions to chop and throw on top of your shish kabob with hummus, tzaziki and sumac in a pita. I personally sprinkle a little salt, too. The baklava was crispy, sticky and delicious with lots of chopped pistachios. I had to give this place another try because their dining room has been packed every night and I'm so glad I did. I have been in the restaurant biz all of my adult life, over 32 years, so please take this as an opportunity to be better... 1- on a Saturday around 1:30pm, only two people working, I am sure couple of people in the kitchen too, but it took an amazingly long time to get food, drinks, never got a refill, long time to order appetizers. 2- Great food, no doubt, amazing hummus and out of the world chicken kabob, not sure I have had some that good. 3- restrooms can be much cleaner. 4- Lady working the tables, not friendly at all, or not happy or did not want to wait on the table, somewhat beneath her. Sorry. 5- Should be friendly, excited t serve, excited to please, otherwise you can't compete. Lots of options in the area. Then it took us asking for our check two times before it arrived. Food was very good. I have been here twice and both times we had good service. The first time was actually great service. It is close to my hotel where I stayed on two seperate occasions for work and will continue to come here when i am in town. Their food is fresh, cooked well, and well seasoned. I have had their chicken, lamb, and tried their salmon. The salmon was a bit on the dry side but not too bad, all were very flavorful. The salad and rice are great as well.
