Yummy!!! I ordered the beef koobideh and it was juicy and delicious! Others got the chicken and they all commented of its juiciness. We checked in and ordered the pita fries and it was a great little appetizer. Definitely was worth it! Unfortunately one of my coworkers bit into and undercooked chicken :( so -1 star for that. Decor is very minimal and kind of old fashion. It looks like an old run town hotel lobby which they just turned into a restaurant. This is a delightful little restaurant with good food and service. My wife and I ordered the chicken shish kebab and found the food to be fresh and tasty. I'm not sure why some of the other reviews have been so negative, but I found this place to be a great option for Mediterranean food. Chicken was moist and well seasoned; vegetables were cooked perfectly; rice was flavorful; and the salad that accompanied the meal was one of the nicest I've eaten Ina long time. This is one of my favorite take out places in the area. Everything I have eaten here has be great, but my favorite are the falafel pita sandwiches with a side Mediterranean salad. The falafel and pita bread is homemade and you can really tell the difference. The dressing and feta on the side salad are great as well. The owner is very sweet and will often check in with you if you dine in. The restaurant building has a strange layout, but they have done a great job with the space considering it's odd nature. The only downside is their night server is extremely awkward. A few months ago when she started I thought it was just because she was new, but even when we ate in a week ago she still awkwardly checked in every 5 minutes or not at all. She was also not very intuitive about filling glasses, removing plates, bringing the bill, etc.. I think I will stick to the comfort of my own home for now. Hopefully as they grow they will bring on a more experienced waiting staff. read more

Do they pay people to write good reviews of this place? Ugh! I can't even imagine who could think this place is good. Came here with two foodie girlfriends for dinner. It was completely empty around 5pm, that should have been my first clue. My food was mediocre and low quality at best. Pita bread was not fresh at all, tasted even worse than the mass produced store bought kind. The hummus was probably the worst I've ever had. It had a weird flavor to it and I usually love any hummus. I would take sabra brand hummus over this any day. I ordered the lamb gyros platter and the about 60% of my meat was fat. Salad wasn't fresh. I really wanted to find something I could say I liked about this place but it was just a bust in every way. We left feeling hungry still and went to eat somewhere else. I was craving Mediterranean food and I stumbled upon Pom&Olive, it was close-by so I decided to give it a shot. Upon entering the place, it really just looks like a work-place turned into a restaurant type of feel. It had a lot of open space with just tables and chairs, and I had to check if I actually walked into the right place. I ordered the Boneless Chicken Kabob and checked in to get my free order of Pita Fries. The Boneless Chicken Kabob came with salad and grilled onions, along with my order of Basmati rice, which sounds good, but when I opened my order after waiting about 15 minutes, it looked very underwhelming. The chicken to rice ratio just looked wrong, and I had to be very conscious of my portioning so I don't end up with an enormous leftover of rice and salad. Surprisingly, what I got for free and for kicks, I liked the best. The Pita Fries and the Hummus bumped this rating up to a three, but if I had to pay for the entire order, I probably won't be back at this place. read more

Had lunch today with my fur baby. The owner was so kind, opened the closed patio for us and even set up an umbrella to provide shade. Ordered salmon kabob and chicken shish kabob, both dishes were flavorful and juicy. I was surprised how tender and juicy the chicken was. And our server was sweet and polite. The falafel was moist and not overdone, and the sandwiches are slathered with tzadziki and roasted eggplant pieces - mmmmmmm! The Baba Ghanouj was superb, and the stuffed olives all were a perfect accompaniment to our sandwiches! The Sharma was wonderful, and a taste of my friend's chicken was out of this world. And best of all, the hummus was made just right - perfect amount of seasoning and oil, you could taste it. The hummus and pita fries (fun and great!) come with any entree! Met up for lunch here yesterday 1/17, and all agreed that it was exactly what we were missing, the great food and service was way above any expectations. From the lamb shank to the lamb kabob and salmon kabob, everything was amazing! Good sized menu with chicken and beef items as well, soups and salads and wraps. Several choices on the menu for veg/vegan diners too. A great value, large sized portions at a nice sit down restaurant at basically the same price as that fast food joint. Good prices for beer & wine, also some interesting non alcoholic drinks (loved the ginger lemonade). Can't wait to try some other things on our next trip! read more
