    Chicken Parmesan
    Jocelynn K.

This is a cute Italian restaurant in an unassuming location. The dining area is small and filled up quickly, but our food came out quickly and was delicious. -Chicken Parmesan: the chicken cutlets were huge and perfectly crispy. The flavor of the sauce was great as well, not too sweet. -Lobster ravioli: the shrimp on top were perfectly cooked, and the ravioli were generously filled. The brandy cream sauce tasted great but was a bit heavy. -Linguine with clams: the sauce was delicious and very garlicky! The pasta was al dente The entrees also come with a hefty serving of garlic knots, which were hot and fresh. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend when in the area.

Things have changed here since our last visit so an update is in order! First of all the pizzas are still so well made, entirely fresh and yummy, with a crispy yet soft crust. Don't ask me how that's possible, just try it and you'll understand! We also got the garlic knots. They are perfect. Soft and fluffy, a hint of chewy, and the best part: not too oily or garlicky at all! The eggplant rollatini is big enough for a meal or for several people to share as an appetizer, which is what we did. It is wonderfully cooked, contains ricotta and fresh, not frozen, spinach, then topped with their delicious and not-too-sweet sauce. We got our order to go like we usually do. There are a few tables inside, but it's a small space so I'm sure they fill quickly during peak times. Our order took around 15-20 minutes; very reasonable and worth the wait! Get here quick and check out their terrific menu and warm, friendly service.

A very Intimate little Italian Restaurant in Aurora. Very welcoming. It was already almost full at 5:00 when I walked in. I was seated right away, as there was one table left. The waitress indicated many delicious options. I ordered the Lasagna, $18, which was hot and Outstandingly Delicious, (see photo). The food is Always Made Fresh for every customer the garlic knots were tasty, but small. I also ordered a glass of Riesling, 6 ozs for $11, which was very good. For Dessert I had the Tiramisu $8.98, which was delicious, but incredibly tiny (see photo), which for that much money I felt it was overpriced. All in All, I would definitely go back and skip the wine and dessert. They are also taking over the Monaco Inn, which just closed in October, and will open up in November. This location is on Monaco, a little south of Leetsdale.

Very Friendly!! I agree with all of the reviews. The staff is very nice! Such a cozy dining area too. The outside definitely does not match the inside. Great selection of food and drinks, to include Barone Fini Merlot.

The wait staff was sooooo welcoming and kind. I broke my water glass and was treated like it wasn't even my fault. Wanted to add chicken to my special - no problem at all. Nothing but accommodating and warm. Fresh flowers everywhere. Pretty blue ceiling and charming lights fixtures make you forget you're in a strip mall off a busy street. What you can see of the kitchen is impeccable. The effort and commitment is crystal clear The smells!!!! The food was outstanding. Fresh, flavorful, perfect temp. The only ding is that they should deodorize the floor drain in the restroom. Otherwise it was spotless.

Amazing! The staff is very kind, a well owned nearby restaurant for anytime you have a craving. The servings are fulfilling and delicious. The restaurant itself is calm and friendly, small but well maintained. -ordered to go

We ordered pickup. We got wings and a large pizza. The pizza was HUGE!!! I could only eat one slice after I ate some wings. I like the cheese and the sauce flavor. Very good. It's thin crust. The wings had a ton of buffalo sauce on them. The breading was a little mushy but I still liked them. We'll definitely be ordering pizza here again!

Below average pizza. Okay service. Small amount of toppings and cheese. It did not seem to be worth the price at all.

I was on a mission to find an Italian place because a friend of mine was coming into town. In the…read moreend, he chose it - and it turned out awesome! It is located in a small strip mall, but that doesn't factor in at all. Once you enter, it is cozy and aesthetically appealing. I think there are sky-lights if I am not mistaken, so lots of natural light even if you are not near the front window. Our server was delightful. My dinner mate asked her if she was from Connecticut and I don't know how he nailed that, but he did. She was good-natured and laughed when they both discovered he and our server's mom went to the same HS in CT - he told her to tell her mom "hello" even though they went about 20 years apart. Sweet, attentive girl. Now, for the food. Honestly, it exceeded my expectations. We ordered calamari and it was perfectly fried. Absolutely perfect. Crunchy, fresh with a spicy aioli drizzled over the top. It came with marinara and lemon, and the combo was delicious. I got the chicken piccata and he got the lobster ravioli. I didn't try his, but he said it was great, and he cleaned the plate. My chicken piccata was delicious. The chicken was moist and juicy, the sauce was chef's kiss with lemon, a perfect touch of capers and artichoke hearts. Yum! It came with mashed potatoes and spinach, and I just could not have been more pleased. I did not get dessert but I tried a bit of his peach budino, and it was also very tasty. A moist bread-like base with peaches on top, caramel and vanilla ice cream. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice (but casual) Italian dinner with lovely ambience and attentive servers.

We are so impressed after our first visit…read more Attentive staff! We had menus in our hands just after sitting down. Waitress brought us water quickly and ask about drinks. She asked if we had questions about menu items, answered our questions clearly, told us about the specials and their prices. Appetizer of calamari was perfectly cooked with ample amount provided. Entrees came out in proper time just as we finished the calamari. AND she took our used plates away rather than them sitting around. Chicken entrees were so good but i cant find it on the online menu. A fair portion and a fair price. Waitress came back twice to ask if we needed anything and were happy with our choices. She brought the water pitcher each time as well. When another waitress took away my wife's finished entree plate (after asking if she would like it taken away), both the wife and I smiled at how this is how wait staff should be: helping out other staff's table by Picking up used plates and noting any needs by customers. This place was such a pleasant experience and we look forward to our next visit!

My Chicken Parmesan may have been the best I have ever eaten. However, the service obliterated an otherwise excellent meal. Many reviews describe Bettola as a hidden gem with warm, attentive service. That makes our treatment even harder to understand. I waited tables years ago, so I am extremely lenient with waitstaff. I know how hard they work and what they endure. Do you know how rude and dismissive a waiter must be for me to write a one-star review? VERY. I do not know his name. He appeared to be serving most, perhaps all, of this small restaurant. That is a tremendous workload, and slow service alone would not have upset me. Maybe he was having a terrible day. Maybe he was in pain. I truly do not know. But he seemed friendly with many other customers while treating us with indifference. He was inattentive, and dismissive, and appeared entirely comfortable behaving that way. Why were we treated differently? Was it because we were older? Was it because I am Black? I sincerely hope neither was true, but his conduct left me asking those questions. Whatever you are going through, every guest deserves your best. We were kind and respectful. Even a difficult guest deserves basic dignity because a waiter has no idea what that person may have endured that day, either. Respect must travel in both directions. Always. Our party divided the check. I don't know what my friends left him, but I still left a 25% tip. I did that because I remember the work and because countless waiters give their guests outstanding service every day. The kitchen produced a remarkable meal. The Chicken Parmesan alone could bring me back. But excellent food cannot erase treatment that makes guests feel unwelcome. Bettola deserved better representation. We deserved better treatment. Everyone does. Do your job, treat every guest with dignity and respect, and do your job well, or quit, man.

We started with the focaccia (with the ricotta and honey on the side) and it was so tasty. My partner doesn't normally like ricotta, but loved this dish! Then, we had the melon salad (very refreshing). We were celebrating our anniversary, and the staff brought out complimentary glasses of bubbly rosé, as well as their special dish, which were the stuffed squash blossoms. This was a really thoughtful touch! For mains, we ordered the tagliatelle with lobster (this dish had a tiny bit of spice, which was fine for us but might catch someone else off guard), and the lamb loin. Both were excellent. Overall, we had a great time! We found easy street parking nearby, as well. My only downside would be that, because this restaurant is so popular, there are lots of diners, which makes for a pretty loud atmosphere. However, this just speaks to how good everything is, so if you think about it, perhaps it's a good sign!

No matter what you get here, you will enjoy it. I haven't had a bad dish or drink here. Do not skip out on the Per La Tavola (for the table plates). They are all so good. We normally get the Piatti Di Cicchetti (olives, pickled veggies, and almonds), Piatti Di Salumi (prosciutto, salame, coppa), and the Burrata. They all complement each other SO WELL. Pair that with a white wine and you got yourself a time. The 2 course offering for lunch is also phenomenal.
