Love the name! I've walked by the past two summers I've been out here, but never went in. On my first morning being here, I didn't have any coffee, and I was staying right around the corner, so what a perfect time. There were a number of people inside already, and it's adjacent to a bank, which is pretty cool. I ordered the large cafe latte with an extra shot, to go. I didn't have to wait too long, and I appreciated the little heart which I'm sure would've looked better if I was staying. The coffee was just the right temp and very good! Great place to come to!

Always great. Enjoyed a carmel coffee. Staff friendly, great atmosphere. I will be back!

I never seem to have a pleasant experience here. Straight up rude employees and overly sweet, overpriced, tasteless drinks. I once asked the staff what beans they used and they said "I'm not sure." I will choose to support one of the many cafes in ashland with a significantly improved atmosphere, customer service, and product offerings.

Great little coffee shop offering a variety of baked goods and breakfast fare. Friendly service and cozy atmosphere. Definitely a local favorite.

Pony Espresso has easily become my favorite coffee shop in Ashland. The vibes inside are very cozy with a variety of chairs and seats to choose from. Their food all looks amazing and they have so much variety! Their iced chai is my current favorite with options of either sweet, spicy, or mixed and is easily the best ice chai I've had in town.

The BEST matcha I have ever had in Ashland, but it is a little expensive. The service was good.

Seating is limited, but the coffee isn't bad. The staff is great. This place attracts the oldsters and a few rude millennials.

Ordering is done at the counter and then they bring it out to you when ready. We ordered two cheeseburgers with bacon and pepper jack, a breakfast burrito and cris cut fries. Since I only had time for about one meal in Ashland, and there are so many interesting sounding places, it was hard to pick one. I chose Ruby's because there is a diner by the same name that I love in Santa Barbara. Also, the menu looked decent on Yelp. The chipotle chicken sandwich featured marinated dark chicken meat topped with fresh tomatoes, red onions, and coleslaw. The flavor of the chicken and the coleslaw was so bomb, and complemented each other perfectly. The bread was kind of like a small French roll. Very soft, fresh, and tasty. It didn't come with any sides, but the price was reasonable, and just the sandwich was enough for me. The inside of the restaurant was very small and cozy. I had planned to go outside when my food came up, but I was so hungry, and it looked so good, I ended up devouring it right there. I barely even had time to snap a pic of half of my sandwich at the "Forever Alone" booth where I was sitting. Staff was friendly and the ambiance was quirky but cute. As a plus, this is a great area to just walk around and explore all the local stores and scenery for a few hours or so. Would def stop by here again if there weren't a million other great sounding places to explore within a quarter-mile radius.

Choucroute is that iconic dish, for Alsace, France, and Nous specializes in that region. And having the dish for my last day in Alsace created a treasured memory. The name of the dish is French for sauerkraut. The dish is a sour cabbage braise. Besides lots of that, the dish usually is a mixture of meats and a variety of possible vegetables. A higher-end restaurant is likely to get creative, of course, but there are limits. For example, there should be some sauerkraut. There was almost none. Or it had melted so far it was indistinguishable. There were lots of carrots and green beans. Steamed and obviously not part of the braise. And some potato. Meat is optional, with individual portions that can be added. Each portion is a full protein, such as an entire duck leg and thigh. I wanted a mixture, as is usual for the dish, but that would have required ordering far more meat than I could consume. So I settle on the duck. What came was a vastly overcooked and astonishingly over-salted let that had almost certainly been deep-fried. And maybe more than once. On an average night, I'd have sent it back, but this was my last night in town and I was headed to see the last performance and I didn't want to engage in the hassle that returning the dish would have involved. My best guess is that the dish was left-over and reconstituted. Maybe more than once. I save one star for the times I can't finish the food, or there are other actual traumas. On an average night, that's what I would have left, because that's just how bad the dish was. But since I did finish the meal...
