My favorite sweet pie of theirs will be continue to be their classic apple crumble, which has fun notes of citrus incorporated into the base. Another favorite is the honey bourbon pecan pie - the bourbon flavor is not too overwhelming and it has a generous nutty top layer... however only available during the fall! These are the perfect slices to pick up for a birthday, get together, or just a mid day treat! My sister and I got some food to-go for dinner one night. I ordered the chicken pot pie and the lemon berry hand pie (pop tart). We immediately brought it home and ate it about 15 minutes after. The pie was nice and warm, had a perfectly browned and flaky crust on top and the inside was full of chicken and veggies. I wasn't expecting there to be that much chicken, I feel like most places tend to skimp on the amount of protein and add more veg instead, but my pie happened to have a ton of chicken. Definitely a classic. Key Lime Pie - most definitely the best key lime pie I've ever had. The crust is the same as the pot pie, very crispy and buttery. The filling was very soft and a bit creamy even though I had left it in the fridge for a while. You need to try this! Small and cute little pop pie shop next to sidecar. This place is absolutely delicious! I have no idea why it took so long for me to visit it. The staff members were extremely helpful. I have always been an indecisive person, so I was glad they were so patient with me. They answered all my questions (and believe me when I say I had many). In the end I went for the veggie&curry and the classic chicken pie for savory. I liked the curry one two. It reminds me of a curry croquet, so if you love those, definitely go for that one! Veggies in the curry one are: mushroom, squash, cauliflower, potato, and carrots. I do reccomend sharing one if you have a small stomache, because I got full off half of it! For me, pumpkin pies tend to be a sort of one-note dessert, but the addition of the whipped cream cheese brought a satisfaction and completeness that plain old pumpkin pie doesn't have -- even with whipped cream. Cute place next door to the popular Sidecar doughnuts. Friendly workers with wonderful customer service. The facility is well put together and seems very clean. They do wear a mask (if that's important to you). I got the Piecream $8.75 which I was able to choose any pie, I choose the Pecan & peach pie. I thought the sundae was very very good! It was tasty and refreshing for this hot day. Although, personally I think this is a little over priced for what it is but this area is pricey, so i will say the price matched the environment but for this price this is definitely a once in blue moon kinda treat. If you get them to eat at home, pop them in the air fryer or toaster oven for a little.. trust me it will be sooo worth it!! The first bite into these were heavenly. The classic chicken pot pie was flavorful and had chunks of fresh chicken and veggies. The green hog and cheese stole my heart. It's really hot inside, so we chose to sit outside. Friendly and informative employees, as this type of cuisine is unique. Where has Pop Pie been all my life!? First off who doesn't like a typical pot pie? It has to be at the top of my comfort food pyramid. My wife ordered the Steak and Ale pot pie. Both were delicious however I was more in love with mine because of it's classic taste. The pastry was amazing and everything you would hope for in a homemade sense. Flaky, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth all come to mind as I ate my pot pie. I devoured it in no time leaving me in a euphoric state of happiness. We ordered two dessert pies to go, a fruit based frangipane and the campfire s'mores. The best beef pie I've ever had! The seasoning on the beef is a perfectly balanced, nice crust not too hard far from soggy. I love that the pie is served not too hot or cold, as you cut through the pie there's still steam coming out. Very important note: I applaud POP PIE for serving reverse osmosis water. It is so rare to find a place that actually care about the health and safety of their customers This tells me that POP PIE truly care about the quality of their food and the quality of their service. After speaking to one of the employees and asking about the most popular and best items on the menu, he informed me that the apple pie was it, so I ordered the apple pie with ice cream in a cup. I consumed about half of this amount because frankly it just was average tasting at best. The whipped cream that was used on it was low grade like out of a can and the ice cream was not anything special. Tonight the manager acted like I was crazy for asking for that and said he couldn't do it because it's already made. Best. Pies. Ever. I never get pie cravings, but this particular Labor Day weekend, I did. I visited on Sunday towards the end of the day, and they were pretty much wiped clean of their selections. I opted for a 9" BYO pie (that comes with six slices) and got 4 slices of the Peach & Pecan Streusel and the last remaining pieces of the Coconut Cream and Chocolate Cream. To the man who ordered after me, I apologize for robbing you of your chocolate bliss by taking that last slice, but I'm sure what you ordered was just as delicious. Needless to say, my entire family was hooked the minute we took our first bites. I assumed the pies would be super sweet but I was so wrong, in the best possible way. The sweetness level was absolutely PERFECT. I thought the whole pie would last us for a couple of days, but we pretty much devoured 90% of it that evening. Supply was running low, so I did what a reasonable person would do... I went back the following day (Labor Day), to get ANOTHER 9" BYO pie. You know, for research purposes. My family was so impressed that we just *had* to try the other available flavors. Since this was my 2nd trip to the rodeo, I ordered ahead over the phone to make sure the slices I wanted were still available. This time, I got two slices of Salted Caramel Apple, two of Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble, one of Key Lime, and one of Coconut Cream. I added in one Chicken Pot Pie for fun since we were curious on whether or not their savory pies were just as good as their sweeter counterparts. Side note: Ordering was super easy and the customer service was awesome. I first spoke to a girl (sadly didn't get her name, but when I went to pick up the order, the girl tending the register had amazing pink hair, so I assumed that was her) before being transferred over to Gabriel. Both were super nice and patient. Got home and had another tasting flight with the family and we were all in unanimous agreement that Pop Pie Co. does pies RIGHT. I was worried there would be one flavor that would let me down, but they were all absolutely delicious. On my 2nd visit, I noticed that Sidecar Doughnuts next door brought in a huge line, and I assume that's what most people would initially gravitate towards. But PLEASE do not overlook this amazing gem of a place. Cannot wait for Thanksgiving/the holidays to roll around so I can feel justified getting even more of their pies (and checking out what new seasonal ones they'll offer). The guy working there (Sam, the district manager) was super friendly. He was patient with us while we deliberated on which savory pie to try. We settled on the classic chicken pot pie and told him we'd be coming back later to grab the sweet pie (after he assured us that the pie won't disappear within the short amount of time). The chicken pot pie was A+. Crust was super buttery (not healthy, I know...) and the filling was really tasty. The chicken breast was not dry at all. My boyfriend and I shared one pie knowing we'd be eating a sweet pie after. Finally got to try Pop Pie for lunch! Got the Green Hog & Cheese and my friend got the Steak & Ale. We wanted to try the classic chicken but unfortunately they were all out at the time we came and were in the process of making more. I thought the Green Hog & Cheese was very flavorful. It had a lot of shredded pork in a green sauce. It became slightly salty the more you kept eating it, but I was fine with it. I also tried my friend's Steak & Ale which was also good! Lots of meat and stuffed with filling in both pies. Can't say which one was better because I liked them both! The crust was also crisp and delicious. I definitely want to try their other pies and drinks too next time! The only downside would be that they are on the pricey side at $9-$10 for one pie, but they are definitely filling. Yellow Curry: obviously not authentic spicy curry. It was a very mild and sweetened vegetarian curry but I enjoyed it. Lots of veggies and good for sweet tooths who don't want to commit to a completely savory pie. Classic Chicken: I honestly thought I was eating a chicken shepherd's pie. Lots of chicken chunks that weren't overcooked but also felt like mashed potato filling. Good if you're a fan of shepherd's. Aussie meat: seasoned ground beef with softened chopped onions and not noticeable at all tomatos. A very meaty and filling pie that wasn't too salty.
