Located inside the Paséa Hotel and Spa, this coffee shop was truly amazing! I was very hesitant trying it because most hotel cafes are very basic. As a coffee enthusiast I asked the barista Itzel for her honest opinion regarding the coffee quality. She was so helpful and actually let me sample the espresso shot! I was so pleased by her service and will always comeback because of her. You can find a lot of coffee shops that are good in OC but many don't Match the service. Great coffee, great energy! Cheers,

Nice little coffee shop in the lobby of the Pasea Hotel. The drinks and pastries were good. The staff was friendly. The artwork framed on its walls were unique to HB and I like that. They carry other snacks as well as sandwiches. Keepsakes with Pasea Hotel branding such as coffee mugs and water bottles are also available here. There are some tables inside but there are plenty just outside of Blend and into the lobby, as well as right outside the automatic sliding doors for some fresh air to accompany that brew.

They have a larger menu than I thought they would have! The service was quick and easy.

The ambience is inviting and aesthetic. This is a great place to study on the weekdays, not so much on the weekends bc it gets pretty busy. They have plenty parking, free wifi, bathrooms, and a couple of outlets. Best matcha in OC in my opinion :p

The…read morematcha was decent, although the drinks overall leaned a little too sweet for my taste and felt somewhat basic and underwhelming. I originally wanted to try the Brown Sugar Coffee Latte, but they were out of brown sugar, so I ended up going with the Spanish Latte instead. It was fine, just nothing that really stood out or made me think, "I need to come back for this." The tuna sandwich was probably the highlight. It was good, fresh, and enjoyable, but again, not exactly something I'd be thinking about afterward. Overall, Brew Story is a perfectly decent place to grab a drink and a bite, but I think there's room for the menu to be a little more creative and memorable. 4 stars feels right good, but not quite great. Willing to update my score if I order better drinks or have a better experience regarding quality and overall flavor on my next visit. People really swear this is elite and / or one of the best in all of OC but it doesn't really reach the ayer , Airoma or Tatys level for me.

Certified Matcha tonic enthusiast here! Lately a Matcha tonic is gonna do it every time for me…read moreeither that or a Matcha cloud. This place was actually right next to another tea café I reviewed for their mango sticky rice smoothie. Inside it was a little quiet and calm, but plenty of tables and chairs to sit down and work if you're into that type of thing. I came in for what I thought would be a vanilla latte, but when I saw they had Matcha tonic on the menu, I was sold. I also saw a spinach pastry in the enclosure, which I opted for as well. One thing that could be better, which I've also seen in other reviews is that there's no description of their drinks or food items. It would be really helpful if there was a name and description associated with their available offerings. Now that I've made my remark on improvements, let me tell you what they're getting right. This Matcha tonic was everything!!! I'm shamelessly obsessed with Matcha tonic and I've tried a ton in the local area and not everybody makes their Macha tonic the same way. This place does it right. A perfectly carbonated beverage with a quality Matcha pour on top was perfection and then the spinach and cheese pastry I had was a perfect compliment to start my morning. I cannot wait to go back, not so sure when I will switch up my drink, but I'll keep you posted when I'm ready to venture onto something else.

Me and my wife and kids came here to get some coffee after going to the park and I decided to try the signature miracle latte. It looked like coffee/espresso on the bottom with a sweet cream on top with some coffee bits. As soon as I mixed it together and tasted it, it was probably the smoothest and cup of iced coffee I've ever had. It wasnt too sweet but it had a strong kick, almost like a Vietnamese coffee but it was much smoother. I let my wife try and she ordered the same one after getting a Spanish latte the first time. If I lived near this coffee place I would probably be here at least once a week. The inside is very inviting, very spacious with lots of tables and even a play area for kids. Their coffee is great but they also have menu items that id like to try. I enjoyed this spot and hope to come back again to try more things!

I went around 12:30 pm and it was a packed lot. The store itself was too busy and felt cramped. The space seems suitable for smaller groups. At the time, there was a line before you could order. It took almost 10 minutes for the order to be ready. American Express is accepted here. Sea Salt Coffee: This was on the signature section so I had big expectations for it. It was a very small drink (9 oz). It was slightly salted, tasted bitter, and wasn't sweet despite having condensed milk as an ingredient. It wasn't good. Canale: Despite having to wait for the drink, I needed to wait longer for this because the staff forgot to put it in the order. I needed to wait for them to prepare it in the back and also go back to the counter to charge for it. All to wait for something that was mushy. Coffee Beans: I saw there were coffee beans from Glitch in Japan. It was a brand that I loved there so I wanted to give it a try. I don't usually like fruity notes but this was really delicious. However, it's extremely pricy for how little beans there is.
