They tried making me buy undercook food before giving me my refund. This happened Friday April 10th 2026. I probably won't ever return to this location. So i was craving the new mac n cheese and decided to get out of my bed and go here.. What a mistake. I asked for my NORMAL ORDER the ONLY one i ever get.. as soon as they advertised the frosted lemonade, i got that, with an up .80 charge of course... but a kids leg mea with a frozen lemonade.. it's about $7 buck. no biggie bc that's what i want.. Anyway, the lady who said she was the manager, Mykia, stated that I couldn't do that. now like i said that's all i order so i'm like Why not? she goes on to say that SHE isn't gonna ring it up like that and that maybe the other cashier was doing me 'a favor'... like really?! I didn't wanna argue with her but i was like are you serious, I just ordered this same exact mea two days ago! She was VERY rude and instead of making a sale she proceeds to tell me to have a nice night. I drive off.. to the OTHER Popeyes in the area.. I spot a manager in a brown shirt, a man, taking out trash. I can't believe i didn't ask his name. Prolly still upset but either way.. I ask him 'If I order a kids meal, may i get it with a frozen lemonade?' He quickly says, 'Yes, just tell them at the window you want that.' Plain and simple. im not so upset any more bc I got my order, just as i asked for it. the SAME WAY I HAVE BEEN getting it. The owner and management team at the Prince Ace location need to take a class in CUSTOMER SERVICE bc clearly My Mykeia or however u spell it, needs some training. This message isn't just for Yelp, Im calling CORPORATE bc the way people are being treated spending their hard earned money, IS NOT appreciated. I can take my business and EVERYONE I know, ELSEWHERE! I read the other reviews and I have to say I'm surprised. We had lunch there today and it was really good. This was my first time ever eating at a Popeyes and I'm Not disappointed! Upon entering the store, everything was extremely clean and the decor was... Louisiana Urban....the best way I can describe it. The young lady behind the counter was very polite as she took our order and offered up her opinion on the sides since I was having a hard time deciding. We both went with the Cajun Surf and Turf Box Spicy. I love love love Spicy food. My palette seemed not to detect a kick but my counter part would beg to differ. None the less it was delicious. The sweet tea wasn't too sweet nor under sweetened. I have to say my favorite thing was the Red Beans and Rice. I will definitely be back to try other menu Items. read more

Popeyes has always been a go to for good chicken. Red beans and rice is always on point. This know chicken sandwich just put them on another level. Chic fil a finally has companion!!! Had to go to four different locations before I was able to see I the hype was real. Glad I got a change to grab some before they sold out. If you didn't, make sure to get one when they come back. Sandwich comes with a chicken breast not a chicken nugget. read more

This was my first time eating at Popeye's ever. I had heard good things and was looking forward to finally trying it. The staff was apathetic, and the food was cold, and I'm not sure they got my order right. (My butterfly shrimp looked like popcorn shrimp.) The chicken tenders were not tenders at all but scraps of chicken--both white and dark meat--and mostly batter. I wasn't even offered sauces and paid $24.99 for these dry cold scraps. They had me park in the adjacent parking lot. During the 25 minutes I sat waiting in the parking lot, about a dozen cars were served at the drive through and about 10 patrons inside the restaurant. . Went there around lunch time and the.place was packed. Although there was only 2 people working the counter the line move pretty fast. The wait time for our order to be filled was acceptable considering the crowd and the food was what we expected from Popeys, hot and good. We will be back for sure. read more

Love the food, but it's just not worth it with the rude staff. They get our order wrong after repeating it correctly, blame us, get a horrible attitude about it, and make us wait a long time to have it corrected. If it was busy, that's understandable. It wasn't busy, there were plenty of employees (each incompetent minus the only male working upfront), and we STILL waited an unreasonable amount of time for our food. Rude! Very rude. Ordered the spicy tenders and the worker said over the intercom "wouldda like to wait" three times before she would tell us why or for how long. Didn't even say they were out of the tenders and didn't ask politely if we would mind waiting. Then she told us to move up so they could get to the next person and when they finally brought us our food, we said thank you for bringing us the food and the girl said "mhm" and rolled her eyes. I have always preferred Popeye's spicy chicken when I could get it for lunch. The new chicken sandwich is arguably better than Chic fil a without all the stigma of religious and political agenda that seems to surround "The Lord's chicken".
