It's a decent pizza. It wasn't busy when I came the first and only time, but my order took a while. I mean, at least that's how I know it was cooking and it'll be fresh when I get em. I live 3 mins away from this place and this is the closest pizza parlor from my place. It is located at a strip mall, across the Library, close to the food lion and dollar general and the Chinese place. The price is ok, nothing too especial on the pizza itself. I noticed they close late too, I think. If you really are in desperate looking for pizza in that area, hundred meters radius then this place is your go-to. The place is ok. Lotsa parking. Big Cheese Pizza is odd. Yah, that one word can save you from reading the rest of this review. This place recently opened up about five minutes from my house. Not good because it's so close to me. Fortunately, it's not that great, so I REALLY have to want pizza to waste the calories on sub-par pizza. It's a knock off of Little Caesar's. I have no idea how Big Cheese came up with their motto, "Fresh & Ready". However, Little Caesar's is "Hot & Ready". :\ I feel confident Little Caesar's is not all that concerned considering this place is in a cruddy part of town. I actually think the drive up window and its location on the building could be a safety hazard to the employees. There are a load of vagrants in this shopping center and I would hate to open the drive thru window not knowing what is around the corner. I digress... Basic pizzas are $5 a piece. They aren't that great. No, I don't expect a $5 pizza to be loaded w/ toppings, but it really isn't that great of a taste. Something is "off", not sure if it is the crust or what. They do offer salads and the rest of the usual pizza place stuff - bread sticks, cheese bread. I would stop here ONLY if I am so lazy I won't drive the extra five minutes to Domino's or Little Caesar's itself. This is a cruddy substitute. read more

If you're looking for a decent, cheap, and ready to go pizza, this is your place. Much like Little Cesar's, they offer a hot and ready to go pizza for 5 bucks along with similarly priced side items. I do think their pizza tastes slightly better an less bland than LC. The one bonus items I like is that they have Parmesan cheese at the counter that's free (unlike LC, who I think charges for it)! So if you are looking for a quick, cheap, decent pizza, this is your place. read more

This place reminds me of Little Caesar's with a twist. They offer hot & ready cheese and pepperoni pizza and specialty menu items you wouldn't be able to get at a Little Caesar's. They have really good chicken Caesar salad for 5 bucks with Cardini Caeser salad dressing. That's the lunch special for salads though. Normally they are $5.99. It is enough to share. I actually ate it for two meals. They also offer antipasto and garden salads. We ordered the 5buck cheese and was lukewarm with minimal cheese. They do however offer a deep dish, stuffed crust or specialty pizza for $8. 99. Might try these offerings next time. They also have wings, cinna-sticks, bread sticks, and a drive thru! Flavor wise, the pizza taste just ok. Really bland. Frozen is better than this. Maybe it was a bad day! I like the concept but I am docking a star because I specifically asked for a cheese pizza and the girl gave me pepperoni. If my daughter hadn't asked to see it when I got in the car, I would have driven all the way home with a pizza we could not eat. It was replaced promptly with the lukewarm cheese. Hey I know it takes time to work out the kinks for a new business thus a 3 star rating instead of a 2. FYI One kudos is that they shred their cheese fresh off the block, so no cellulose powder and other weird stuff in their cheese. Different locations offer varied menu items and prices. I love the food here. I think it's the best pizza joint in town. The prices are on line with other pizza places. I get pizza from here at least twice a week and I don't see myself going anywhere else for a long time. I love how the cheese is cooked golden brown and they don't over do it with sauce. I've stopped at this place several times due to the convenience of the location. Possibly the rudest staff I've witnessed in a while. This most recent time I walked in I was not even acknowledged by the worker at the counter. I GREETED HER and not even a hello or smile or glance back. Another employee came from the back to take my order. I waited 10 minutes for my pizza even though it's "hot n ready." The employee put my pizza on the counter with a "here" and walked away before I could even reach the counter. I'm a general manager of a restaurant. Maybe I have high standards when it comes to my employees but I know they know nothing of customer service or general transactions of product to consumer at Big Cheese. I won't eat from there again, too many bad experiences. read more

They offer good pizza and sandwiches at extremely reasonable prices. The people are pleasant. The only thing missing is delivery

It's directly behind an elementary school, so it's not a "crummy part of town" such as Bragg blvd. There is a lot of drive thru business, but the pizza is only good if there are women working that day/night. When I went in to order and there were only men the guy couldn't remember my order and had it messed up. He said he'd give extra bread sticks or something for my trouble, but that never happened. My pizza was done but I had to wait for bread sticks (they were doughy and not enough parmesan was on them), and then the pizza got cold. The pizza was under cooked and the vegetables on the supreme were crunchy. I don't think anything else on the menu is that great or unique. I'll give it a three because this doesn't happen often, but they really need to reevaluate their staff and quality control. I don't know who the manager or owner is because he or she has never been there. Maybe they just collect the money and forget about it. read more

Wish I could rate this place 1/2 a star. Gross just gross!! I went there today...big mistake. The workers handled money, went outside and touched the trash all without washing their hands. They all were handeling food. Very disorganized. The new girl who clearly was poorly trained was all over the place. Appearance shows your level of professionalism and how seriously you take your job. These employees never received that memo. One girl had the biggest rats nest on her head...nasty. Ownership/management are obviously out of the loop and not very involved. Customers were flipping out in there due to disatisfaction. I had already placed my order and paid before I noticed all of this. The girl on the register had no clue what she was doing so asking for a refund was pointless. I had no choice but to bring my pizza home, after taking one look at the sloppy mess...it was thrown out. This place needs a serious inspection. Today...it would have been shut down. read more

Service is pretty bad here and they often mess up your order. They don't check receipts when people come in, and they don't take your name to be sure. This guy named Zack claimed to be the manager, but I'm sure he meant shift manager. Every time he's in there they mess up, so something isn't right here. read more
