So, my wife and I thought we'd give it a try. So glad we did! We sat at the bar, even though there was plenty of seating, and were addressed by the server promptly. We ordered a chicken sandwich to share and the soup flight. The sandwich was great and the soups were really great! All three of them. I had a really good huckleberry cider and my wife a citric IPA. We both like our drink. As a bonus, they have several TV's to watch sports games on. They have a small patio for the warm days. We will be back for sure to enjoy good food, service and a fun time.

My husband ordered their sausage roll, which came with a crisp puff pastry and sauce. He also ordered the chip butty, which are chips on a ciabatta roll. Later in the day, for lunch, we shared a scotch egg. The scotch egg was perfectly runny and had a crisp outside. We also shared the fish & chips and ordered the cod as the fish. Super friendly staff, and the food was incredible. I had the Thai chicken, peanut wrap, with corn pasta salad. Absolutely love the pasta salad! They've raised prices a little bit since the last time I was in here but that's OK. I will gladly pay more for a good quality and a good experience. Raise a pint to Moon Time!!

Perfect portion for two with a couple topping options. I would go back just for those. I ordered their take on eggs Benedict and my husband had the classic breakfast plate. Both were really flavorful, but the seasoned potatoes were a standout. Portions are generous, we ended up getting two more portions out of the leftovers. Overall, a really fun and memorable brunch spot. I am looking forward to going back for one of the events when they have live music.

Okay, I hate to be the negative Nelly, but the worst part of the upscale experience was the crescendo of noise. It crept up on you as the lunch crowd moved in. It was seriously hard to communicate at your own table. The decor offers little to no sound mitigation. Seriously, consider acoustic tiles. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Prices were fair, given our current economic conditions.

The woman helping us was friendly and even gave me a frequent buyer punch card since I told her it was my first time there. Fyi, Monday's are double punch days! We were greeted promptly, seated and immediately given menus. I had French toast and it was good, made with white bread, battered and fried, so kind of common. My husband had breakfast sausage and eggs. The sausage was very flavorful, as was the bacon I had. The star of the meal was the incredible cinnamon roll. Many breakfast places serve oversized cinnamon rolls with buttercream frosting, which is fine. Just too much bread and frosting for us. Here the cinnamon roll is pricey @ $8.50 but totally worth it. It's gigantic and balanced; plenty of cinnamon and cream cheese frosting. Our server was great and there was nothing sticky on the menus, salt & pepper or condiments and every table looked clean.

At one time, this place was pretty nice, but the upholstery on several chairs and booths is showing cracks and fading. Also some kind of just old smell permeated the place. Can't really describe it, but it gave the feeling of years without a proper deep cleaning. The employees were pretty friendly except the cook, who seemed to complain about everything said to him by the servers. Really good coffee, and they bring you a carafe so you can pour it when you want and not mess up the sugar/creamer/coffee ratio that often happens when the servers do drive by refills. Plus you don't have to wait for a refill when you want it when they get busy. Scrambled eggs, very good, not overly done but not runny. Sausage really good. My main gripe is my waffle, which was done great on the outside but definitely not done on the inside. My first guess is the waffle iron is either set to the wrong temp or is just old and not cooking properly. Either way, it tasted horrible and I was a little concerned after eating a few bites if it was even safe. I may still return someday because the servers were cool and the vibe was relaxing even if the place needs a major face lift. I will definitely never get waffles again, which is sad, because I love waffles.
