Hotel restos are not usually on our map for travel meals while RVing, but I knew this place was well known for a great AYCE salad bar for the Wifey---one of her weaknesses. The salad bar looked robust, but she wound up wanting to look at the regular menu. Good choice, because we won't eat again until next Wed. She did their Halibut & Fries, and got far more than either of us imagined. My burger was huge, with a generous amount of gorganzola, with added bacon. Couldn't finish it, while helping her with the filets. The place, itself, has been there for decades, but the hotel keeps it well maintained. The waitresses all seem to be on Soma, haha, but they were kinda pleasant. It's been a long while since we've been here, and I'm glad we stopped by to see how well they are doing...

I have eaten at this location over the years with family while I'm in town. It is located inside the Best Western Hotel, and has both a restaurant and a lounge. The menu has pretty much stayed the same since I have been visiting, and leans toward some old style comfort favorites. There are burgers and salads along with dinner entrees. Some of my family like to order liver and onions every time we visit, but I have never been a fan of liver so I've not tried that option. On my latest visit, I tried the Crunchy Thai Chicken Salad. It was a large portion size and I wasn't able to finish it all and took some home. The chicken was breaded and sliced breast meat. The dressing was mixed into the salad already. I liked the mandarin oranges mixed in as well. The service was friendly, and they kept our drinks full. The seating was booth style with a casual atmosphere. I'm sure I'll be back again since it's conveniently located near our location.

Shannon is really exceptional. This is our fourth stay at the hotel and when we see she is working we all decide to stay and have dinner because she is just so wonderful. We stayed this time so we could relax after taking my daughter to a movie for her birthday and Shannon went out of her way to make her feel special and make her a birthday treat. The chicken nachos are HUGE! The chicken was nice and tender with tons of flavor. The steak was good but the veggies are bland and not fresh. The short rib grilled cheese was surprisingly lacking flavor. The meat was good but a little dry. The French fries were great. The desert were all yummy but this time the mild high mud pie was the winner. The restaurant and bar are always nice and tidy even when the hotel is having big events. We will continue to stay for dinner anytime we see Shannon's smile from behind the bar.

Amazing service, food and environment. Kid friendly and comfortable. Would 100% go back!

Burnt bacon burnt hash browns aka my breakfast ' that I paid for - over the years the quality of food has steadily declined ,

The service was fantastic , the restaurant was clean the ambiance was good , the food was so horrible my omelette made me sick this is a photo of my burnt bacon an burnt hash brown

Too many onions- in the gravy in the veggies, everywhere. Mashed potatoes very good! Loved variety squash for veggies with dinner but was over powered by onion flavor and also overcooked- some very mushy. Burger was ok. Kids meal was cute- popcorn chicken topped with actual popcorn. We would try them again. Salad bar was decent.

We ordered a chicken sandwich to share and the soup flight. The sandwich was great and the soups were really great! All three of them. I had a really good huckleberry cider and my wife a citric IPA. We both like our drink. As a bonus, they have several TV's to watch sports games on. They have a small patio for the warm days. We will be back for sure to enjoy good food, service and a fun time.

Cheerfully greeted and {as I was with a "walker" because of my recent hip replacement surgery} she suggested if I wanted a lower table it would be toward the back. She gave me a menu then momentarily disappeared to get me a room temperature water (delightful) and then we discussed the menu. I then ordered with her suggestions and waited. Not too very long thereafter, my lunch arrived - a lovely surprising portion, colorful, well presented and exactly as I was hoping for. The parmesan halibut addition to my seasonal salad (which BTW is not current on their website but my variation was DELISH) was tasteful and moist. The kale based salad was dressed in a cranberry vinaigrette, but I'd asked for a side of Bleu Cheese as well (my weakness, especially if it's a delightful house made version as this was). I only ate half & took the rest home, as it was large enough for two meals - and @ a price point which was reasonable for this day & age! Thank you to my very caring & hospitable server - she made my lunchtime meal more than I could have expected!!! Go try them, Now!

Anyway my plate arrive arrived covered in butter and cheese. Who puts cheese on fries without saying so? So I obviously could not eat any of it. I didn't bother to have them remake it and paid for an un-edible meal but asked her what could I have done differently she said tell us about your allergies and I was like, well I did. I told you I don't eat butter and the cornbread still arrived with the biggest slab of butter I've ever seen. Like wtf? Disappointing. But I will say the pickled vegetables were amazing! 10/10

It feels like you somehow wandered into a slightly spooky Disney bayou attraction that also happens to serve brunch. Decorated to the nines and immersive, it is both a meal and an experience. We went for an early Sunday breakfast and were seated quickly. By the time we left around 9 there were still a handful of open tables, but I would guess reservations are smart from 9:30 on. I started with a cortado made with Evan's Brothers beans. They also offer a chicory blend if that is your thing. Our waitress was attentive, answered all of our questions, and was great about a few modifications we asked for. They do have some gluten free and vegetarian options, though not a huge amount of gluten free. We started with the beignets and they were excellent. Perfect portion for two with a couple topping options. I would go back just for those. I ordered their take on eggs Benedict and my husband had the classic breakfast plate. Both were really flavorful, but the seasoned potatoes were a standout. Portions are generous, we ended up getting two more portions out of the leftovers. Overall, a really fun and memorable brunch spot. I am looking forward to going back for one of the events when they have live music.

That being said, service was very good. That's the high point. The WINGS were a disappointment. They were akin to Costco's precooked wings, but these were all about presentation versus good taste. Try not petrifying the meat would be a good start. I had one of the hamburger plates. I really liked the fries. These were well prepared. The hamburger on the other hand was lacking any uniqueness or even quality beef. So if you are one of those people that believes a hamburger should be a culinary experience, this is not the dish you want to get here. Okay, I hate to be the negative Nelly, but the worst part of the upscale experience was the crescendo of noise. It crept up on you as the lunch crowd moved in. It was seriously hard to communicate at your own table. The decor offers little to no sound mitigation. Seriously, consider acoustic tiles. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Prices were fair, given our current economic conditions.
