A few positives about tonight's experience: - The ranch was bomb.com. - The online ordering process was easy, but a tad bit slow. - The service we had was great! This review in no way reflects our delivery. Normally good services guarantees at least 2-stars, but tonight's experience was the exception. As soon as the pizza hit our doorstep I was in caveman mode. Being a foodie, I live to eat and love the excitement before a great meal! I took the first bite and.. set the pizza down? The pizza was overloaded with toppings, incredibly doughy and it was almost like they forgot one very important step of the pizza making process: the baking. I ordered take out tonight and my fault, i should've checked my order prior to leaving the store. I buckle my boxes in for the ride home. Once I'm home I check the pizza and the margarita pizza was missing the basil. I drove it back down to get a refund because this isn't the first time this has happened. I feel like they should have refunded my whole order not just the pizza. That would have made it right by the inconvenience of driving there twice and now having to figure out something else for dinner. We just moved to Corona and received a coupon in the mail so we tried it out. We got the Feast Meal and have to say everything was very good especially the wings and knots. The reason for 1 star is due to the young lady taking our payment. This was for pickup. Their system was having an issue and had to swipe my CC 3 different times. This frustrated the lady and she took it out in me and my 73 year old dad. Other staff around heard her as well and was giving me the silent I'm sorry look. My dad and I thought maybe she was having a bad and let it roll off our backs. After the payment issue was resolved, we left and as we were walking to the card, the lady made a snarky sarcastic "have a nice day" and I had enough. I went back in and informed her that is not how you treat customers, especially since the CC issue was their issue, not ours. I hope mgmt reads this and has a conversation with this employee. The 3 stars this place has is very accurate. I'm giving 2 stars. Tonight was my first time ordering from Porkys and I wasn't letting the 3 star rating stop me from trying. I ordered an extra large double pepperoni half jalapeño half sausage with their "cheese blanket.". Their cheese blanket is extra cheese sprinkled on top with garlic and Basil. It really wasn't a blanket . More like a fishnet sweater on most of the pizza. There is potential however. The sausage is quality sausage. Not your typical roller ball sausage you'd usually see. Also, the sauce was tasty as well. The dough has a good taste but the pizza was extremely undercooked. It was to the point where I had to throw my slices on a hot skillet for a few minutes to tighten up the crust. It was a major turn off on how undercooked the pizza was. The jalapeños, tasted like they just threw them on AFTER the pizza was cooked. The cheese was melted but not super gooey and stringy. I order at 5:33pm and she told me it'll take 25-30 minutes. When I arrived at 548pm to pay , the pizza was ready. While I appreciate them having it ready early, I don't want to eat an undercooked pizza. If they had fully cooked this pizza, it believe it would've been fantastic. I will try this place one more time but without the blanket gimmick, and I'll ask for a well done pizza. This was supposed to be the "best pizza in Corona" It surely was not. I would have rather had Pizza Hut over this establishment. The pizza had too much bread, little to no sauce, ingredients weren't fresh, and just did not look appetizing. What's worse than the pizza were the wings. First of all, it was not buffalo wings as it had no sauce whatsoever. Second, some wings were overcooked and burnt and some were not thoroughly cooked at all and inedible. Lastly, it was too expensive for its quality and quantity. What's even more disappointing is that while waiting for the pizza, which was actually longer wait than what was said when ordered over the phone, you could see that the employees were not wearing gloves. Not what it used to be. Porky's used to be my favorite out here in Corona. We would order from here weekly. I've never had an issue with service. It's just that it is so inconsistent here now. The sauce tastes different and the color is different, depending on which day of the week you order it. And they put way too much sauce on it. I was so excited to eat the BBQ Chicken pizza since I have read several rave reviews about it. The pizza was kind of dry and look bland from the first glance. First bite, the cheese was dry since it wasn't melt properly? and chicken were tiny. There were a few dice onions on each slice and BBQ sauce did not compliment the taste. Yuck! Garlic knots? Honestly it was cold, knots were good but service sucked. I used to love Porkys Pizza. We'd order a pepperoni pizza at least twice a month along with chicken wings. But ever since they replaced their ovens, the pizzas have been dry and bland. They are now usually a bit overcooked, and not as much sauce and less cheese. And they're even worse for leftovers the next day. Very underwhelming.
