HUGE shout out to Daron, Israel, and Harpreet! I was interested in a Taycan I found on autotrader, and once I put in the request Daron called me right away to warmly invite me into the dealership and to test drive the vehicle. Inconsiderate. I told the salesman I was driving from far to come look at the car and if there is any dents, scratches etc. He insisted it looked brand new. Loaded the entire family up ready to drive the car back home with me and there was a huge dent in the back. No wonder the car had been sitting on the lot for so long. Wasted my entire day with my family because he wasn't honest. Not okay. Hope he thinks about how he would feel if someone did that to his family. Sometimes we need to just be good human beings and be a good person. I wonder what else these people would hide if they can't even be honest about a dent. Why not respond or communicate with REAL people with REAL concerns of your dealership? Truly shows the unprofessional business ethics and practices of Long Beach Porsches. Updated Review: It's disappointing to see that Long Beach Porsche only seems to acknowledge and respond to positive reviews. When it comes to addressing legitimate concerns or negative experiences, they stay silent--offering neither accountability nor a sincere apology. This lack of responsibility speaks volumes about how they truly value their customers. A luxury brand should come with luxury service, including transparency and respect, especially when things go wrong. Unfortunately, that's not what I experienced here. After weeks of discussion and negotiation with Long Beach Porsche over a Cayenne GTS Coupe, the dealership suddenly listed the vehicle online at a price lower than our final offer. We immediately put down a deposit and submitted our credit application, which was approved, and went in to sign an options contract. That contract would give us 5 days to secure outside financing before defaulting to Porsche Financial. However, the sales manager, David Mercado, claimed we would only have until Saturday, even though it was already late Thursday. We left with the agreement that we'd return the next day, Friday between 1-2 PM, after our appointments checking rates with our bank and credit union. On Friday, our appointments ran longer than expected and traffic was worse than usual we were running about an hour late, but stayed in constant contact with our salesperson, updating him on our ETA. As we were literally minutes away from the dealership, just exiting the freeway, we got a call saying they were selling the vehicle to someone else. To make matters worse, upon our arrival, the sales manager David Mercado's response was incredibly rude, dismissive, and unapologetic saying "Unfortunately, you are too late." Instead of taking responsibility or even offering a sincere explanation and apology, he made excuses and kept implying we were "just too late" completely ignoring the fact that we had already put a deposit down, had financing approved and were completely transparent as we had just confirmed our arrival time so finance could be ready for us. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially on a vehicle that was under contract. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy from a sales manager was astounding. If you're considering buying from Long Beach Porsche, don't!!! They do not respect your time, your commitment, or your business. This kind of unethical behavior is absolutely unacceptable, especially from a dealership representing a luxury brand like Porsche. We hadn't planned to buy that day, but they offered a great trade-in value and had exactly the vehicle we were looking for. I went in to look at a low mileage 2023 Panamera 4 Hybrid, a potential switch up from my GR Supra 3.0, since I'd been finding the 2-seater experience to be a little TOO restrictive, plus the fact that I now commute in heavy traffic 3x a week. The Supra is a great car if you stick to what it's good for, which is not giving friends rides to and from the airport, or sitting in stop and go traffic. So anyway, I did my homework on the 22-23 model Panamera Hybrid, called in advance and spoke to Israel briefly. And just to be safe, I even submitted my pre-approval request before I made the drive down to Long Beach. When I arrived, the car was waiting for me to look over. Israel quickly got the techs on the job to assess the Supra, and we were off on a test drive pretty quickly. Just to kick things off, Israel gave me the quick run down of the controls in the cockpit, which calibrated me to what the car could do. On the test drive, we did a normal street loop, where I tried all the drive modes, lowered the chassis into Sport+, and (safely) did a u-turn to judge the steering responsiveness and turn radius. I was a bit surprised at how well a car as long and heavy as the Panamera 4 Hybrid handled, but it IS a Porsche, and it does have the 4-wheel steering option. After the test drive, we went inside to Israel's desk, and got down to business pretty quick. I was given water and snacks for the time I had to wait for finance to clear my application. But this is where the experience was much better than I've had in the past, like when I bought the Supra. My experience with buying cars has more often than not been a marathon of trying to make something work from trade into to rates to price of the new car. This time, it went surprisingly smoothly, thanks to Israel! Once the finance team cleared my application, it was a pretty straight forward, short process. The finance person was very informative about the maintenance required, and broke down the available plans. Within a 2-3 hours from walking in, I was done and on my way home in my new Porsche. Bonus: I get to park in the primo EV spots at work, and it costs me a whopping $0.67 to charge from 0-100%! read more

Having had 3 P cars, I have to say this is the worst service oriented Porsche dealership I have ever experienced. Every time I need to bring my car in for something (in this case it was a check engine light) it's always a 2 week wait until they can see the car. Seriously!?!? Toyota has better service availability. Being a resident of Long Beach it's convenient to have the Porsche dealership nearby. But because they never have availability, here I find myself once again having to do business with South Bay Porsche. After getting the 2 weeks answer from LB, I called South Bay and they were more than accommodating to get the car in tomorrow morning - wow! All in all, pretty disappointed. I had been a service customer since 2022. Service has gone completely down hill since it became Fletcher Jones. They're subpar for the Porsche brand. I had a flat tire that needed service. When I called, they told me to "get it there however I could" and told me they could get me an uber ride home (thanks) or a loaner two weeks from now (how does that help me?). They also failed to mention I had Porsche Roadside complimentary to tow my car in. South Bay Porsche reminded me of that (more on that below). They also advertise flat bed towing to the service department, but told me that I wasn't eligible since I had a flat and my car wasn't "drivable." Not only does that not make any sense (you need towing most when your car isn't drive able), but it's completely misleading from what they have on their website. When I asked them why they didn't offer same-day loaners for emergencies like mine anymore, they told me that since they're "growing" the demand is higher than their inventory. If you've grown so much you've lost the ability to provide good service, you're doing it wrong. After 3 years of going to Long Beach for service, I Ieft and went to South Bay Porsche (where they took my car in and offered me a loaner same day, as it should be). South Bay not only got me into a loaner, but they had an electric car only and texted me the next day to see if I preferred gas or wanted to keep the electric. That's what you expect from Porsche. I did email the service manager and told him my experience. I got a polite reply and appreciate that, but I am leaving this review so that if you're in a bind like I was and need service right away, you don't have to go through what I did. They should, at the very least, not be dishonest about their "flatbed service." They should, at the very least, be able to provide a service loaner within days, not weeks. At least that's what it was like before they became Fletcher Jones. read more
