I had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience with this dealership. I had negotiated and made a deal with Alex, the sales manager, on a 2024 Porsche Macan. We agreed that I would come in after 3:00 PM to pick up the vehicle. I was actually on my way to the dealership when Alex called me and told me that someone else had just purchased the car. What bothered me most was that no one contacted me beforehand to let me know another buyer was trying to purchase the vehicle or gave me an opportunity to complete the deal we had already agreed upon. I had every intention of purchasing the car and was literally driving to the dealership as arranged. I understand that dealerships sell cars and that another customer may be interested in the same vehicle. However, when a sales manager makes an agreement with a customer and schedules a time for that customer to come in and complete the purchase, I believe there should be some level of professionalism and communication before selling the vehicle to someone else. read more

I brought my Macan S for 2 years annual service to Porsche South Bay. I'm very unhappy how it came out with the high price tag $2159.24. A few issues I found. 1. The worker carelessly moved the passenger seat too far back and completely crushed my daughter's car seat in the back. 2. Also, I had just recently washed my car before dropping it off so it was spotless, but after your "car wash," it actually came back dirtier. There is a new stain on the armrest and numerous water spots all over the inside of the doors. 3. On top of that, two bags of coffee candy I had in the car are missing. So I called their general service number and spoke to a woman who clearly sounded like she had better things to do than speak to me. Turns out, just one component needs replacement -- not the entire car. The call -- with the human -- was as pleasant as one with a bot. I chose Porsche South Bay for its service department. I took my car in for an inspection service yesterday , which is still under warranty, I made an appointment to do so after calling about a message that came up on my screen. It said contact a Porsche dealer in which I did. Got there on time and was advised to wait in the waiting room and someone would come and assist me. I waited there for twenty five minutes and nobody came in there, so I decided to go find out what was taking so long. Everyone was so rude and kept telling me to see a different person. Finally the manager of customer service came over and addressed the issue, but before she did she said the service for my car would be $800 before even finding out what I needed, as if I couldn't afford it. I will never take my car back to this place for service, not for the treatment I received there. I don't want to say they are racist, however, that's how it felt. read more

My dashboard leather was separating, and Liz handled the warranty claim seamlessly. What could have been a frustrating situation turned into a smooth process because she stayed on top of everything. The repair was originally estimated at 3 days but ended up taking 6 due to the full dash replacement. Liz was proactive, communicative, and genuinely apologetic about the delay. More importantly, she went above and beyond during those extra days to make sure I was completely satisfied. That level of ownership is rare. She also informed me that my vehicle has service included up to 50,000 miles -- something I wasn't even aware of. That's the kind of advisor you want: knowledgeable, transparent, and looking out for you. If you need your Porsche serviced, ask for Liz. She's great. read more

AVOID THE SERVICE CENTER I rarely write reviews but I have had multiple bad experiences at this dealership getting my Porsche serviced. Earlier this year, I received an ARB7 notice recall for my car. I scheduled a service at Porsche South Bay online and listed why I was coming in. I arrived at 8am for my appointment and was immediately told that they can't actually do the recall for my car as they weren't ready. My advisor, Michael, asked me to reschedule for the following week as they could be ready then. Over the next 1-2 months, I repeatedly would need to text Michael to ask the day before, and then he would tell me to reschedule again for the next week. Eventually, I asked if he could just let me know when they're ready so I didn't need to bother him each week to check. I received no response to that message. Half a year later, I made a new appointment (weeks in advance) at this Porsche with a new service advisor because I received another recall notice. I made the same appointment online and selected the yes I need a loaner option. I arrived and dropped off my car first thing in the morning. I was then told I couldn't receive a loaner because you had to verbally communicate with them over phone so they can reserve a loaner - the online reservation system made no mention of this and I clearly selected the loaner option. Extremely disappointed with the service. I've never had these issues at other dealerships, so I would recommend you look elsewhere. read more

Took my car in because of a recall notice (which turned out not affect to my car) and a minor issue with the cup holder (the recall was the main reason). This was about a month before my lease was to expire and I was considering buying out the lease. Three plus weeks later I didn't get my car back and basically got fleeced out of the last month of my lease and was not offered anything for the inconvenience. And the reason you ask why it took three weeks plus; the technician got into an accident in my car (the only time it was ever hit in 39 months of driving the car). when I went to tell them to keep the car they hadn't even begun to repair the vehicle. Never again will I go back there. No one cares that they ripped my off the last month of my lease or offered anything other than basically it wasn't their fault some women hit them. Weird bc when I drove the car no one hit me. the only concession they made is if you buy another car with you will give you a good offer. I guess that'll be my second and last Porsche! read more

Discrimination and poor technical service I received the letter to bring up my car on 14th August to update the system. Ariel, a service advisor informed me that I also need to bring my cable charger to replace since there are some technical issue. I came back with the charger next day and also picked up my car. I waited for 2 hours for them to replace the charger. And another next day (Saturday) , I came back again since the cable cannot be plugged. Ariel was not here and I met a guy names James ( I have to come to ask him to support, he did not even bother to ask) At the beginning, he asked me to wait for Ariel and I refused since this is their fault. They replaced the plug after 2 hours. I brought back and plugged in and the charger did not work. I brought back again on this monday, waiting another 2 hours, brought the charger back and again still did not work. I tried to call them but no one called me back. I have to bring back today again and the funny thing i see James volunteerly asks other client and support her, I feel very discriminated. This showroom also should discipline and replace their technical team too. I wonder if they have the procedure to inspect and check before giving anything to the client. So ridiculous. read more

Really had higher hopes for a better experience at South Bay based on the positive reviews. To summarize: they seem very disorganized and they're only concerned with selling you a car; they couldn't care less about you thereafter. Buying: My sales rep seemed to not know anything about the model I was interested in (even though it's Porsche's top-seller). I had to do all my own research and he didn't offer any value during the test drive-- missing an opportunity to upsell me to a newer model in the process. Product knowledge is critically important in this line of sales. Post purchase, I had to send multiple emails and leave messages in order for them to finally send me the paperwork-- after being assured several times they'd send them to me. Service: I brought my car in recently for my annual service. The team there didn't even know I had bought the car there last March nor that I had prepaid for a maintenance package. They wanted $4400 for the 4-year service (!), when I had simply come in for an oil change. They also couldn't find any record of the prepaid package they sold me, until I pulled up the aforementioned paperwork (thankfully, I had that handy). They asked me to come back the following week, while they were going to figure out what this package covered for the 4-year service (so, coming down there was a waste of time). I was told the gentleman would follow up with me on Monday-- never heard from him. I left a voicemail and followed up with an email, including my paperwork-- never heard back. I ended up going to a local indy shop who not only reconciled the prepaid portion with the warranty provider (saving me $800) but did the entire service for 60% less than what South Bay had quoted. You'd really think a seemingly reputable dealership offering a luxury auto brand would have their act together. I guess not. read more

A day and a half later I received an email link to a narrated video that was unintelligible. The check-sheet was minimal. The recommended work totaled nearly $12K for emissions work and an oil change. The estimate was not detailed as to labor and materials. I do not spend $12k without understanding what's involved and what included. I paid the $600 for the half hour evaluation and retrieve my Porsche. The loaner car, a Macan, was peppy for a four cylinder. Noisier than I expected. An acceptable rude for short distances but I would be very uncomfortable for anything over an hour drive. Not suitable for anyone near six foot tall ( I'm 6'3"). read more

Took my car here around march 2025 for an expensive maintenance. Spent $2,700 to what suppose to be a top quality car care. One of the job was done is to change break fluid and they bled it. After 3 months i had a red notice on my dash saying that my break fluid was so low and need to stop and pull over. Luckily i was by a shop and had them check on it. When they lifted my car, 2 of my front breaks were leaking fluid breaks because the break cap was too loose. Had to replace my break fluid with full bottle of break fluid. Break fluid doesnt dry normally like that. I tried to reach out to one of the representative to address this serious safety concern, told me that he will let his service manager reach out to me to further investigate but its been more that a week and none has reached out. I gave ample amount of time before i went and post this here to make people aware that this service center are very unprofessional and wouldnt want to waste any money to get a subpar level of car care. read more
