I really enjoyed my experience at My Loup so was excited to try this place out. The patio feels…read morelike you've walked into your friend's spacious backyard with string lights and plants. It was a super hot night out so we asked to be seated inside and they were able to accommodate us. Apparently inside seating is actually reserved for walk-ins so good to know for those who can't get a Resy! The food was good enough but I think the ambiance of the place and the amazing service really made the experience worth it for me. Definitely don't skip the hanger steak--it's perfectly medium rare and juicy. The tomato toast was flavorful but the toast was pretty thick and hard to bite into especially around the crust, although that might just be a me problem. I look forward to doing a walk-in to try their dessert sometime before the pop-up wraps up!

what a disappointment, honestly a waste of money. i was so excited to try this cute pop-up before…read morethey close, but i wish i had just gone anywhere else. we started with the tuna crudo which was average at best. the tuna was fresh, but the dish was so oil heavy, it felt like it was missing a paired carb. for my main, i ordered the hanger steak which was terrible. the steak was hideously overcooked, half of the steak was closer to well-done than the medium rare i ordered. the meat was extremely tough and chewy, almost impossible to eat. the flavors at play were also unappealing, it just tasted like salt and oil. my friend ordered the clamwich which she was disappointed by as well. the sandwich was embarrassingly underfilled, and the few clams inside were over-fried clam strips. the best part of the meal was probably the fries. the food was so disappointing, 2/5. the service was extremely mediocre, our interactions with our server were short and curt. some of the other workers were a lot friendlier though, maybe our server was just having a bad day. this is honestly such a nice outdoor spot, they're definitely capitalizing off of the patio vibes. however, throughout our dinner, there were leaves constantly falling into our food which was kind of off-putting. they did have stickers and foldable fans with their logo which was super cute! cute spot, but don't fall for their marketing tactics. the food was some of the worst i've had in philly, and i really wish i didn't waste money here.

FOOD Wow! Incredible food! Of all the dishes we tried, all…read moreof them hit the spot. We had their sinigang na salmon, sizzling pork sisig, and banana pudding dessert. -Sinigang na salmon: 8/10 -Sizzling pork sisig: a bit on the fattier side for my liking but still great nonetheless! 8/10 -Banana pudding dessert: 10/10; we melted on the first bite. The condensed milk in the cream complemented the banana and cake perfectly! Would definitely return just for this dessert. DRINKS We had their banana latte and calamansi drinks. Both were light and refreshing! SERVICE The staff are very kind and friendly! AMBIANCE There are two floors-- both offering a nice view of the restaurant and the street below. In the daytime, the place functions as a cafe, where guests often come to catch up with friends or study/work. At night, the place transforms into a cozy, intimate space to enjoy a nice meal with friends and loved ones. Ample seating is available on both floors, ranging from tables for 8-10, counter seating, and smaller tables for smaller tables for 2-4. PARKING Paid street parking is available at a limited capacity.

A lot to say about the restaurant and experience…read more Cute little spot. But very busy. We went during brunch hours on Saturday. Be very cautious when going with a group. Went with a group of about 7 or 8 and it was very difficult to get seating. The time you walk through the door, order your food, and to receive it will take quite a while. By 11:30 on Saturday, they have to stop people from walking in and wait outside until the line inside shortened. For anyone looking for the most authentic Filipino food, this is not the place. With that said, the food is still good. It has a Filipino flare, with a modern, for the masses, feel. Would try the place, but not frequently.

I loved the…read moredifferent takes on Christmas showcased through out the bar and even the entry way transformed you into a icy winter wonderland. I was very packed and people were walking around with cute little Christmas themed cups from ornaments to mugs. We didn't stay to partake in a drink since it was PACKED around the bar downstairs and we were warned to not even go upstairs. So photo op it became. They even had Abominable Snowman but he was surrounded by so many I had to grab a picture from a distance and couldn't ask if he really bounces. If crowds are your thing, then definitely swing by Tinsel

Half the fun is looking around and trying to figure out which movie or TV show inspired each decoration. Christmas music plays nonstop. There's a fixed drink menu and no seating, so it's very much a stand-and-hang-out kind of place. From what we heard, it can get pretty packed later in the evening, but we arrived right when it opened at 4:00 PM and had no wait at all. It ended up being a great place to kick off the night. The cocktail list is entirely Christmas-themed--festive and fruity flavors. The cocktails are served in Christmas themed vessels. If cocktails aren't your thing, they do offer beer and seltzer options as well. It's a fun, high energy stop that's perfect for soaking in some holiday spirit.

I wanted my usual Indian but didn't feel like driving out of the way. So there's apparently this…read morenew place right on my drive home. Good reviews, let's go in. I went in, and the entire place is marked Self Service. You order at the kiosk and you pick up at the counter, whether dining in or taking out. Okay, fine. This was my first time. Staff is very friendly but difficult to understand, so I took my time translating foods. Settled on Manchurian paneer for the appetizer and a dry chicken (pachi mirchi kodi) biryani for my main course. Nice and spicy. I considered eating in vs. taking out; it's a modern bare place and there are several tables although nothing fancy (hard plastic and wood benches), but the main factor is that the drinks are overpriced. Maybe bring your own? Problem with the kiosk is that I can't just ask for water, nowhere to type in requests - though I do not recommend Parsippany water. Maybe the lassi is worth it but the cups weren't that large for $4 plus. One man's opinion. With that said, now that I've mentioned the kiosk, if you want or need to customize your order (allergies, add-ons, etc.), I do believe you can walk up and order in person as well. Spicy food home after multiple warnings. Verdict? Paneer: Less spicy and less crispy than I expected. Dipping sauces included, but at least one seemed like it was meant for the biryani. The white yogurt sauce I held onto. At least a solid portion size 3.75/5. Biryani: Meat buried under the rice. Good quantity, unique flavor for a "dry meat" dish that I had to look up. Spice maybe a touch hotter on this one. 5/5. Sauces: The brown sauce is thick and not spicy. Made it my dessert. White helped with the heat. Neither sauce was on the menu but they were thrown in with my order, which was nice. Verdict: Fun, convenient, and I'll keep it in mind to try some different things here as I pass every afternoon - but it's not dethroning my favorite.

Ordered the chicken fry option, and there was a generous amount of chicken. I couldn't even finish the dish. Its a very casual setup: order at counter, paper plates.
