We went at 8:00 pm on a Tuesday night. Not very packed, so we had our choice of tables. We sat at a booth, which had its own personal TV! The beers were good. We got the Amber and the Dunkelweizen. For food, we got the Wicked Brisket, which was very good. It had great flavor. The only issue with the Wicked Brisket was that there were entire bites with just fat. It would be nice if next time they cut out the fat. The 1/2 pound brisket plate was okay. The brisket was too tough, not tender or moist. I used a lot of sauce, but that didn't really solve the problem. The wings were alright. They were cold, but they did have good flavor. The pulled pork was also just alright. For sides, we got the fries, 3 Cheese Mac, and Off the Cob Mexi Street Corn. Out of the three sides, the fries were the best. They had a perfect crunch and were nice and hot. The mac and cheese was disappointing--not cheesy. The corn was decent. Good service, but I think there is much better BBQ elsewhere.

SUMMARY (for those short on time) Porter Brew & Que Brewery is a barbecue restaurant with a brewery and full bar, tucked away in the back corner of The Shops of Dunwoody complex. The interior has a nice, modern feel with plenty of seating across the bar, booths with individual TVs, and high top tables. The food is great, and what you would expect of offerings in terms of traditional BBQ restaurants (ex. plates with meat and side options, etc.). I'd recommend Porter Brew & Que for lunch or dinner with friends or family, or a post-work happy hour gathering! PRE-DINING The restaurant/brewery is tucked away in the back corner of the Shops of Dunwoody complex, next to a Thai restaurant (formerly Com Dunwoody) and Dunwoody Tavern. There's plenty of parking lot space. AMBIANCE Being newly remodeled, the decor feels modern, with lots of seating at the bar and tables. There are also plenty of screens where you can watch any NFL Sunday game (they have NFL ticket with DirectTV). Your waitress will happily get you the remote for the TV at your booth if you'd like to change the channel. SERVICE The service was great, as we were addressed quickly and our server was very friendly. She was also knowledgeable in their craft beer selection, and let us taste any we were curious about. F & B To start, I had the Green Pond IPA and my husband had the Darker Smiles Dunkelweizen. Between the two, I preferred the Green Pond, and would order it again. He later ordered the Ode to Cream which I would also recommend (all were nice, and probably just a preference of what type of beer you typically enjoy). For food, we had the deviled eggs, and plates with two sides. I had the pulled pork with Mexican screen corn and potato salad, and my husband had the brisket with the corn and mac and cheese. They have two BBQ sauces to choose from, one a spicy sauce and the other a little on the sweeter side. I preferred the spicy sauce (golden spicy) and my husband felt the meat didn't even need sauce. The portions were very generous, and enough for us to take home for a second meal. I'd highly recommend checking out Porter Brew & Que!

We went here for the first time and I am so glad! Finally a hip place in Dunwoody with delicious home brewed beer and barbecue. They have great salads too if you're a vegetarian. The interior has ship Lap wood siding and there's a nice outside porch. I can't wait to come back and try more things!!!

We went because we had a Groupon but they no longer accept them. However, Patty (owner) was behind the bar, very accommodating and understanding. There was a live band playing outside and we sat at the bar. Patty is very knowledgeable about beer and the Belgian beer is soooooo good! We will be going back. We purchased two growlers of our fav beer. Take the growler back to get refills!

Looks like they have found their groove! I had the smoked brisket (perfect) with potato salad (creamy) and collard greens (savory with generous pork bits). Wife had the smoked chicken BBQ nachos, which she really liked. We both had the in-house brewed Belgian tripel, which, though lighter in taste than most tripels I've had, was very good (and potent - 9% ABV). Kids liked the mac and cheese (didn't look greasy to me at all today) and chicken tenders + fries. Our server, Erica, was personable and informative. Overall a great experience!

I ordered the 1/2 lb brisket. The majority was inedible fat. I was quite disappointed. At least the collards and potato salad were good or I would have left hungry.

Example of the "smoked wings" my bbq chicken also shown.

Brewery #437…read more Mutation Brewing was an unassuming brewery in a cinderblock building but with a great outdoor area. They didn't have flights or at least weren't serving them that night. So, I got 2 different beers, and both were really good. Galactic Fuzz 5 and Sharks w/ Lazer Beams Attached to their Heads (what a great name!) with both delicious IPA's. So why only 3 stars? Well i ended up here on EDM night and I am a 50-year-old. I tried to escape the "boom boom boom", except they had speakers outside too, so I went on the roof top area, and they were setting a DJ up there too. Not my vibe at all. The beer was great; the vibe was shit. I like my beer without glowsticks and epileptic seizures. So if the vibe is for you, go and if it's not check their calendar.

This is a pretty dope brewery setup. I only say this because of the way the layout and setup is…read more It's a really nice place. Right off Roswell Road, you'll be able to come into the parking lot, and it's free parking and it's their own parking lot. It has multiple levels, so there is plenty of space to do a lot of things or bring large groups to it as well. The bar itself is pretty large, and it actually goes and extends on multiple sides, so the bar is basically double. If you go up to the top, there is a bar there, but the last time I was there it wasn't active. Honestly, the last time I went, I went to get some hot chicken because they have a Nashville hot chicken spot in there. That was my primary reason, but it's still a really good place to go if you want a brew.

Not only is it a…read morerestaurant but it also is a place where you can come & game both in a play console or a computer station. You may rent out areas for larger groups or even a cute date night. On top of that they have a variety of board games as well as a karaoke area. They hold amazing event nights such as themed trivia and special costume socials for your enjoyment. The staff is friendly and very hospitable. The food is great! They have a variety of option but I recommend the Cowboy Bibimbap, it's delicious and very filling! They also have a full bar and an amazing cocktail menu. Plenty of complementary parking in the lot. Dress code is casual. I'm definitely coming back to try more of their dishes and maybe play some Mario Kart!

Our visit was on May 16th, 2026. We had large group, which when we called ahead (4 hours ahead of…read moretime) they said that they couldn't take reservations. They told us that we would have to show up and just wait to be seated... fine. No big deal, again we are a large group coming in HOT on the weekend... I get it. We call ahead again, closer to the time we were planning to arrive to double check. THIS TIME they said they could reserve us a space and that it wouldn't be a problem. We get there and everything is seemingly fine. The vibes are good and the waiters are taking orders diligently. We understand that this is a huge group (16 of us) and that we would have to be patient with them as they are with us. So everyone puts in there orders. First wave comes out... I noticed that all the food is cold. Not ideal but the food was good so whatever. Second wave comes out, again the food is cold and peoples orders are missing. Fine. We are a big group, it happens. 3rd wave comes and they are seemingly trying to land the plane with us, finalizing anything that may have been missed while also getting refills. One of my friends that was a part of that first wave was still waiting his burger that he ordered (he had informed them twice at this point). 45 mins later the waiter checks on us again... My friend still doesn't have his burger. Cool AGAIN this is a big group... It happens. My side of the table who got all their food are ready to play some games now. We go to the front counter and there is seemingly a good cop/bad cop routine going on. One host says we can rent a station the other says we can't unless all 16 of go to that station. I told him not everyone wants to play games so what if we just cash out now then the 4 of us that do can just play/sit at the station. "YOU CAN'T DO THAT ITS AGAINST THE POLICIES" O....kay... whatever don't take my money, I then tell him I'd like to cash out anyway. "YOU CAN'T DO THAT!" I can't pay you now? "THE TAB CAN ONLY BE SPLIT 5 WAYS" Huh? So not only was this not brought to our attention beforehand but you want to be a jerk about it? There reason was because some people run out on the bill and things get missed. Meanwhile the entire table is sitting here with their cards out ready to pay you? Not to mention if something is missed thats on YOU as you are the person entering the stuff into the system. Mind you we still have folks that were missing food or order was taken only for it to be sitting under a heat lamp. After some back and forth we paid (which they REFUSED to give us an itemized receipt) only for a smug waiter to come out with the missing deserts with creepy smile to literally say to us "I hope you enjoy it..." Nope. Not eating that. Matter fact we will never eat here again. This has been a yearly tradition for some Dreamhack attendees and I can wholeheartedly say that I'll NEVER step foot in here again more will anyone I associate with. If I could give it a 0 I would.
