Portillos let me down. They open up a new location and you expect them to have seasoned staff leading them to get off to a very good start. I ordered a large Italian Beef sub and when we got it to share, it turned out to be as big as a hot dog bun. Did inflation hit Portillos food? You'd think they already raised their prices. The actual hot dogs we ordered were looked even smaller than normal. They must have gotten a delivery from the mini-Portillo's distribution center. The dining room is very noisy and reverarent. Apparently, in a rush to open, they left out the acoustical treatment, making it very difficult to converse or hear the ready order numbers (pointing the speakers down towards the intended audience would help). The dining is very cold, with drafts blowing through every time they open the drive through delivery door. Food wise, they have screwed up two of our oders so far. So, while the rest of my party completed their meals, i was waiting in line for them to remake my order. New location, so hopefully, they will get their act together soon. read more

Service has improved significantly over the past few months with faster service times and customer service. Food is fresh and not stale while they do a decent job keeping tables clean. Just make sure to check your order for small mistakes such as forgotten croutons, dressings, or bread. read more

I procrastinated going to this location due to all of the reviews, I had two gift cards and this is the closest location to us. For some reason one of the gift cards did not work, the cashier was very polite and patient. He asked Destiny for assistance and she did a fabulous job not only honoring it, but she also added fries to my order when I assumed that, the beef and the burger had fries with the purchase of a combo meal. it seemed quite noisy and there, so maybe the cashier didn't only hear that I wanted a combo for both meals, but that it was to go. I feel Destiny went above and beyond compared to everyone else. She was a true example of a dedicated employee. She never stopped filling in all the gaps. My score is four stars because I'm still unclear as to why I needed to wait so long for the food~15 minutes! Through my observation, It seems like the drive through customers are served at a quicker using a more efficient procedure. My star rating was almost a three because I saw one of the preparers toss the bag of food into the final station before the customer receives the item. This behavior is extremely unprofessional. I'm not sure what is going on with this location but this is the 5th time I have gotten food from them and every single time aside from the first they have gotten our food wrong, forgotten items or have given us bad quality food. We keep ordering at different times and days thinking it was just the wrong time to order but it doesn't matter. They gave him a burger with JUST ketchup, mustard and pickle. They don't fill the large fry-you just end up getting a small for more money. They skimp on beef. The au jus options seem to be a suggestion to them because every time we've ordered it dipped or extra dipped we get it "standard". And the famous chocolate cake? Waited 35 minutes in the driver through for two beef sandwiches, two fries and two shakes. When the sandwiches were unwrapped the was no sign of any meat...it was there you just had to dig through the bun to find it; the fries were unique burned/over cooked on the outside and a step above frozen in the center.....the shakes were good.
