Very eclectic place. It has an expansive menu which was perfect for the 7 of us. We got the Tiger wings as an appetizer and they were very good. My son had a Ribeye which was seasoned and cooked very well. 5 at our table got the fried oysters. They are beer battered but the breading was very light. One of my sons got the Greek fries. They were excellent with spices and feta cheese. They are a definite must try. I got the Salmon Santorini. It was very tasty! This place has a lot of Greek influences and it shows in their cooking. The waiter made the suggestion and it was spot on. Excellent service especially since we got there about 45 minutes before closing. read more

Another delicious tale on the adventure to try new places in the Asheville area with my Grandparents! We started off with the spinach artichoke dip and we knew from the first bit this was going to be a special meal! Tiger chicken Mac, tiger chicken Mac, and tiger chicken Mac. I don't think I can emphasize enough how DEEEEElicious this dish truly is, you'll have to experience for yourself! We ended this glorious meal with homemade melt in your mouth cheesecake and could not be any happier! Oh I forgot to mention they have Guinness on draft and the owners have 3 OTHER FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS in the Asheville area.... needless to say we have a pretty good idea where we will go on our next adventure. Really disappointing customer service. We were told there would be 20 min wait and after 45 min my partner went to the host stand to check in . They said the manager had told the to stop seating. We were sitting right in front of the host stand for the entire time listening to 3 servers talk about boys who added them on Snapchat, and not a peep about them pausing service. So inconsiderate. Wow! Just wow. We started out with the pimento cheese appetizer. Our server, Josh, who was amazing, suggested it. Then I got the prime rib and my husband got the sirloin. Both steaks were delicious and flavorful. The potato was very good but the Mac and cheese was the BEST. I don't usually like Mac and cheese but this place totally changed my mind! Reason for 1 star review: Fraudulent tip addition after the fact. I came here the day after Christmas. There was a small wait and judging from the amount of open tables, I assume that this was due to being understaffed. No worries, we waited and were sat within the time frame quoted. Our waiter appeared disheveled and smelled of B.O.. It was also obviously his first week or so of waiting, or he was a busboy that they promoted to waiter while they were short staffed. He fails to bring my wife's drink, and after about 15 minutes I flagged him down. He apologizes and says he forgot to put it in. No worries. After about 30 minutes I ask him about the wing appetizer I ordered. Again, he tells me he forgot to write it down and therefore did not submit it. No worries. The food comes about 45 minutes after ordering. My burger was not what I ordered. It was a completely and totally different menu option. He tells me that he accidentally put the wrong item in. Ok, I get it. I was polite and patient with him. Due to the quality of service, I left a 10% tip. I realize this is not a great tip, but I didn't want to stiff the guy and have him come out of pocket. I see the charge come through today and he tried to add money to my tip (fraud). I called and spoke with a manager, who looked up my bill and agrees to refund me the difference of tip amount. He did not sound surprised at this behavior and only offered to refund what was fraudulently taken from me. Be careful going here and ensure that you keep the receipt. read more

We had an amazing lunch here. We're on vacation and were hoping for a quaint place to eat with healthier options and a nice atmosphere. This did not disappoint! This restaurant has a really nice deck that would great to visit in warmer weather. The inside is very spacious with more than enough room to practice social distancing. We called before to reserve a table for Thanksgiving, they told us they could work around a family dairy allergy. The server told us their set menu was unable to accomdate a dairy allergy when we we sat. They were able to slightly accomadate, but we were still charged full price and a 20% gratuity, even though the food was much less in portion and quality. We ordered for sharing; there was a duck confit pizza, a house salad, onion rings because we could. The duck confit pizza was brilliant. Not over flavored and over sauced like some trendy places tend to get... Their flavors were interesting enough so it kept your attention. The onion rings were thin, breaded just enough for crunch and fried to the perfect doneness. The house salad was a standard house salad. It was fresh, with a nice selection of veggies and a nice vinegarett. I will be frequenting thus spot especially in the summer when downtown becomes an unbearable mess. read more

This was our first visit to Post 25, and what a great first impression. We called on a busy Saturday night in December, trying to get a reservation for a group of 13 after a reservation at another restaurant wasn't handled appropriately. It was the evening of my son's college graduation so we had children and senior citizens with us who were growing more tired and hungry by the minute. Not only did they get us in without a ridiculous wait, but the food was delicious and suited a very wide range of tastes. The host was super helpful and kind, and Kelly, our server, was incredible and made sure every single request was taken care of quickly and our drinks stayed filled. Just had dinner tonight with my family, who were visiting from California. I'd been here before, several times for dessert, but only twice or so for dinner. This is the first time I had the rib eye and it was AMAZING. Sooo good. Cooked perfectly and served with roasted garlic. First, I would like to give the owners credit for how nice the restaurant looks. The food is horrible. My friend and I stopped for an early dinner yesterday and left most of what we ordered. Her grouper was just gross. The onion rings are soggy and the slaw is bland. My crab cakes were mostly bell peppers with a little bit of mushy crab. So...I admit I caved and tried again. They were out of Chardonnay. Water delivered with hands grasping the rim of the glass. Inconsistent mixed drink and about 2 oz of meat on the French dip. South asheville is in dire need of quality restaurants. When they come this place will disappear unless they get it together. Owners have done the needed work to get this place up to speed. Last few visits have been great. Fantastic bar staff knows what's up and the details are not overlooked. The food has been consistent and delicious. The service is excellent! I hate to get a 3 because our server was so helpful and patient with us and the table full of kids! The server really was fantastic. But the menu is just underwhelming. The food was mediocre as well. I got the Patty Melt with a veggie burger, and it really was bland. The veggie burger was too thick which caused it to be dry. The Greek fries that I got with it were really good! I should've just gotten a plate of them. I don't know what made the Greek besides the feta cheese. They tasted just like my kids' regular fries. I do want to mention that the restaurant is beautifully built and decorated. The atmosphere is so chill. I might go again when my folks come back in town though because it was relatively empty around 11:30 am which is a plus when dining with toddlers. read more
