Probably the best pizza we've ever had! We stumbled upon this and I'm so glad we did. It's a small space and standing room only for eating, but oh so worth it! Delicious!

Stopped by at 11am when they opened. You place your order inside with a staff member then you wait for your order outside at the pick up window around the counter. Staff were super friendly. Service was very prompt and timely. There is no seating, just standing counter space on the outside of the restaurant. The Italian hoagie was super tasty. It had alot of meat and the bread was fresh. I would recommend taking food to Pike Place public market open seating or to the waterfront. Would totally come back.

No frills pizza window for tasty pizza (and hoagies which I haven't tried). They have the classic cheese and pepperonis and daily rotating meat and veggie options. Order in the small shop then wait for your slice outside. No seating but you can use the countertop table they've set up on the outside. Their pizza sizes are on the thinner side and very crispy. Simple, but I do like the flavors they put together for their rotating menu.

Came to try their Italian hoagie, and it was definitely packed with flavor! I personally sometimes am afraid of ordering a whole Italian hoagie because it tends to get heavy easily with all the meats. This one though had a good amount of slaw in the middle with a nice acidic kick to balance out the meat and cheese. Definitely recommend getting the Italian jazz sauce that adds a spicy kick and additional flavor as well. We chose to skip the mayo. I will say that the bread though is quite hard and can be a bit of a jaw workout. Staff is really nice, service is quick and there's 2 bar stools with some counter space inside if you get lucky. Otherwise there's outdoor counter space as well and they're really close to the water if you wanted to walk over there to eat.

Great slice of pizza, fantastic flavor. Highly recommend adding on the "#7" (ie. Hot honey and ricotta cheese). They're busy but get orders in and out quick. No sit down area available, but they have standing space outside where you can enjoy your slice. Highly recommend!

Post Alley Pizza is a pizzeria a couple blocks from Pike Place Market in Seattle. It's a popular restaurant for serving New York-style pizza and sandwiches. Although it's mainly a pizza spot, I heard of this place because of their sandwiches. I ordered the Italian hoagie ($16) which included a variety of meats, provolone cheese, and other veggies. I added the hoagie jazz on top ($1.75) which is their housemade spread with calabrian chili, anchovy, roasted garlic, and hot honey. The sandwich was good and had a good amount of spice from the hoagie jazz. The bread was crunchy on the exterior but hard to chew through. The bread also had a lot of sesame seeds throughout which you could taste after every bite. There are only a couple seats inside and standing room outside. Note that they close at 6pm daily so you'll have to stop by earlier in the day since they don't open late.

10/10! The pizza was absolutely phenomenal and the servers were amazing! It was the end of the day and they were closing up shop and I told them it was my birthday so they gave me and my friend our slices for free. Absolutely will be coming back anytime. I visit Seattle. 10/10 slices.

Cool hole in the wall spot close to the waterfront/downtown. I met a friend here with the goal of getting am Italian sandwich (after seeing constant videos on my IG algorithm about it). Post Alley Pizza's pizza needs to introduction and I was excited to try the sandwich. I believe I paid about $21 after tax & tip for the Italian sandwich with jazz sauce (their quintessential sandwich spread made with Calabrian Chilis, Anchovy, Castelvetrano Olives, Pickled Red Onion, Roasted Garlic & Hot Honey). First thing I noticed was how small the sandwich actually is - 6"! The sandwich itself was excellent - good flavor with the jazz sauce and the in-house bread held everything together well. Would I go here again? Sure! Would I make this a weekly addition to my rotation downtown? Probably not due to the price. I do think it's worth trying at least once.

    Amazing undercarriage

How come I've been in the Seattle area for 22+ years and never tried Post Alley Pizza? What a fool! I think you might call it NY style pizza, even though it's less floppy than a traditional NY slice. I got a cheese and a daily meat, both outstanding. The crust is crispy with zero flop and an awesome charred undercarriage. The ratio of sauce, cheese, toppings, crust is just right. Not greasy at all. Super satisfying to eat. Service is super fast, the place is super small with just a couple of stools and a small counter to eat on the fly, and longer counters outside. On a Dave Portnoy scale I'd give it a legit 7.8. WTF 22 years without this pizza!!! I'm an idiot...

I don't make it out in this area very often, so when we had a Seattle waterfront day, we were so excited to try this place! It did NOT disappoint! The pizzas were good and had some yummy toppings and the crust had a great crunch to it. We also got the Italian Hoagie and wow, it had such bold flavors! It was filled with a good amount of meat and fresh ingredients, however, the bread of kind of hard. It had a tough texture to it, which took away from the goodness inside the sandwich. All in all, great place for a slice of pizza and great tasting hoagies. It's a small place with maybe room for a few people to sit in the corner. It's pretty busy but you get your food quickly and they're super friendly. You can take your food out to the pier for a nice waterfront picnic!

Finally I found Post Alley Pizza! By the time I arrived the sandwiches were already gone. So I ordered a slice of pizza. Friendly service and jovial vibes. Apparently they sell out fast of Sammie's, the pizza slice was a slice they reheated, I believe. It had pepperoni, olives and yellow peppers. You can have it to go on a paper plate or to go box. I had it in a paper plate. It was served piping hot! I was able to walk towards pike place market, find a chair next o what used to be locust cider, another story, and enjoy a hot slice. Excellent crust, thin and crispy and delicious! I need to comeback for a sandwich!!! And the price. Around $7.00. For a tasty foldable crust. Do it! Eat good food and enjoy your life! SYOY!

Tomato Sando with $3 for added bacon
    Wendy K.

Finally tried one of Post Alley's sandwiches yesterday. The Tomato Sando $16 added the bacon for additional $3 was a wonderful BLT version summer lunch had half yesterday and half today. I had heard great things about them and it was a great days to try one with fresh tomatoes. Believe it is sprinkled with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Bacon added just the right amount of salt and smokiness. Would definitely get it again of it pops up on the menu in the future. Service is always friendly, orders are taken quickly and you stand outside till they call your name depending on the time of day the line can be longer. Sandwiches are made to order so wait is a tiny bit longer but not too bad. Small space most people get slices to go or eat outside. When I get slices I usually get it on a plate cause I work close but of you get it in a box there is a small fee. Parmesan and chili flakes available at window tow sprinkle on when you pick up your order. I suggest studying the menu while you're waiting and be prepared to order so you aren't holding everyone else up. Consistency good neighborhood spot!

    Pepperoni slice
    Linda L.

We got there near closing so they only had pepperoni or cheese pizza slices left. They usually also have their daily meat and daily veg. Cheese slice is $5, the others are $5.50 I found it a little too salty and charred BUT I also don't really prefer pepperoni pizza so take this with a grain of salt (pun intended). This slice was definitely on the thin crispy side. The charring is prominent throughout, perhaps slightly too prominent in some areas where it masks the flavor of the pizza. I do like their overall texture of the pizza though, I wish I could try their margherita flavor as a slice! As that's my favorite flavor and would be a fair testament to their pizza! You order inside around the corner closer to the stairs and pick up your order outside around the other corner. Order and go style, no indoor or outdoor seating.

Tucked down the alley by the gum wall, it's a great option for wood fired pizzas. The space is fairly small and very low-lit, but thriving with energy. Our service was fantastic, drinks were good, but besides the pizza the food was pretty hit or miss. We had a table of 4 and we kept the table full the entire time. We started off with a salad, spicy mac n cheese, cheese sticks, and Brie and cheese. Salad was light and refreshing. The cheese sticks were pretty normal, but also good. The spicy mac n cheese to me had zero spice. Just some mac in a cast iron pan. The apple and Brie had a nice presentation but the smallest amount of Brie possible(my picture was too blurry to post). The Broccolini I am not sure how it was defined as broccolini because the 5 pieces that came on the plate were huge. While packed with flavors of lemon and Parmesan they had a very tree like feel and were a bit on the harder side. The El Diablo pizza, to be straight forward was by far the best part of the stop. The crust could have been a little more well done, but that's just me splitting hairs. I ate more of that than anyone else. Probably could have finished it myself if I hadn't stopped for a lobster roll beforehand. Either way, great service, good drinks and legit pizzas!

If that line is intimidating or wet (think rain!) then duck inside to Pizza and Pasta Bar for a delicious meal. While there we met the owners Bruno and Goli who were helping out behind the counter. They are the nicest people ever! So friendly and accommodating and always smiling. Their pride in their restaurant really shows in their care of the food and customers. I had the infamous meatball sandwich and my wife had the chicken carbonara. They gave us each a slice of their pizza for free as they had a bit extra from one that just came out of the oven. The food was prepared in front of you which is always interesting to watch and the charming brick pizza oven was directly in front of us so we could watch that process as well. Pretty cool. There are a wide variety of pizzas and pastas, desserts and drinks (alcohol too!) available on the menu. We ate at at the bar and had a wonderful conversation with the owners as they bustled about in the open cooking area. I enjoyed my meatball sandwich which had great crunchy crusty bread that held in the contents of melted cheese, red sauce and meatballs. A great choice to get when there. My wife liked her chicken carbonara and as the portion was pretty large, we were able to take some home for later. Extra yummy for me (ha ha)! The complimentary pizza slices were a hit for us as well. Napoli style with thin crust and flavorful toppings. We found out that Goli created the restaurant's design with the face of a woman that looks a lot like Venus in "The Birth of Venus" painting by Botticelli in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence Italy (just sayin'). We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Unfortunately, the experience is consistently dampened by one of weekend bartenders. As others have mentioned, it's that taller bartender (Alex?) who repeatedly comes across as arrogant and dismissive to us; a less than desirable character trait for a bartender. It's such a pity because that is the sole reason we now lead our groups to spend their money and patronize other establishments instead. Recently we did give Diller another try, but sadly it's the same story and thus this feedback. Hospitality makes a HUGE difference. Bartending isn't just about making a good drink and expecting tips. As someone who tended bar all over Seattle for 23 years, I know how much energy and attitude shape a guest's night. When the service feels cold and passive-aggressively rude, it's hard to feel good about the experience. It's disappointing, because this place has so much potential. Hopefully management considers bringing in weekend staff whose personalities reflect the warmth and atmosphere the space deserves, there are plenty of more qualified bartenders in Seattle that would gladly fill their spot.
