We walked in here on a whim and ended up having the best casual date night ever. We sat at the bar and the bartender was an absolute gem of a human being, she also made absolutely fabulous drinks. There was really nothing she couldn't make and she was very knowledgeable. The appetizers were also flawless and better than your typical bar fair I would say! 10/10

Nice spot for a couple of cocktails when we stopped thru town on a road trip. Tasty drinks at good prices!

Great backbar. And the bar itself is very comfortable. Apparently, this place has been a bar for 50 years.

Sometimes you walk into a bar that's new to you and just relax. This was one of those places for me. We sat at the beautiful bar to eat lunch. Our server/bartender Leah was so helpful and answered my (many) questions. Her go to is the tuna sandwich -- I can see why. My husband and I both had the delicious tuna sandwich, which comes on marbled rye (!!) with a side salad. Plenty of good food. And I want to be BFFs with Leah -- such a lovely and welcoming woman. I hope that you all will stop by on your way north.

This is a great downtown spot for a delicious lunch. The menu is new since about a year plus, but the food is still good. This French dip is one of the best I've had around town. The burgers were always good here although I haven't had one since the new menu came out, Our server was perfect.

A true little gem this place is and I highly recommend if your hungry for an Amazing Pastrami sandwich. Onion rings were golden crisp. Service was impeccable, cheers to Rosa!

I've been here multiple times. Their food is solid and their drinks are cold and tasty. Nice spot with a lot of tables and bar seats. Calamari is a little strange, it's strips not tentacles and circles. Like a sliced calamari steak. Always friendly service.

I can't count how many meals I've eaten here. The prices are good and the food never disappoints.

SO disappointed in this place. We saw the high ratings and…read morewere excited to try it. We went on Labor Day. 1: our waitress was so incredibly RUDE. She had an attitude about everything, forgot drinks, and literally just set everything we got at the end of our table and made us pass it down. What the hell. 2: we specifically wanted somewhere with mimosas. They sat us outside in front of the business and then when we attempted to order mimosas, our waitress told us we could not have them outside. WHY DID NO ONE SAY ANYTHING? Why would you not make sure to mention this to guests before seating them? This alone makes me knock off 2 stars. 3: because we were outside, the sun was beating on us. We had kids with us, and there were sunshades about 1/3 down, so I went inside to ask if we could lower them a bit more. I was told they had to be the ones to do it, and someone would be out soon. They never came and did it so we just adjusted everyone best we could. 4: cherry on top? None of the food was worth the trouble. 10 people and none of us felt it was better than subpar AT BEST. One of our kid's meals was the cold turkey sandwich, and it came out as massive chunks of turkey (like straight off the bird) and stale bread. Nothing else. The pearl waffles taste like straight sugar. No other flavor.

We chose Woody's because our little one wanted mac 'n cheese and they have some of the best in town! I cannot rave enough about the restaurant and how well they handled the party. The booking process was easy and completed via e-mail. This aspect was handy as I didn't have to leave the house or make a phone call on a busy day. The gentleman I spoke to answered all of my questions during the booking process. On the day of the party, we showed up a few minutes early to put up some decorations. A waitress and waiter came and greeted us right away. The owner even came by, promptly, and introduced himself to me. The kindess and professionalism was outstanding. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name! I feel terribly that I can't provide it.) did an outstanding job! We were a big group of people and she took all of our orders, answered questions, and helped us with anything we needed. I hope it can be determined who worked that day so she can be given her kudos as she was lovely! Lastly, the kitchen staff did a great job getting our food out in a timely manner. I was impressed by their speed and the food was delicious. As the restaurant was busy, we didn't have a chance to say thank you one final time before we left. So, thank you again, Woody's! You guys made the party enjoyable and easy for us. We felt we could take a step back and enjoy our daughter's day! :)

Or maybe they were the peppers/onions that go on the cheesesteak? We did a DoorDash for a work group and with all fees it was a $30 sandwich (menu price $23) but I trashed after 3 bites. I tried, because I do not like to waste, but I couldn't stomach that combo. The side salad was actually great so I ate that, but essentially, $30 for a side salad is no bueno.

Located in the Placer Heights Plaza, next to Starbucks. Same plaza as Holiday Market and CVS Pharmacy. We were seated immediately as they were not busy. The menu was a bit different than online. Our server came to take our order. He didn't introduce himself and seemed like he didn't want to be there. We decided on the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken sandwich and catfish po' boy. When the po' boy came out, we thought it was burnt! We didn't know the catfish will be blackened by default. We thought it will be fried since it is a po' boy. The options can be blackened or fried based on the menu online. We were not given those options by our server. They brought out the food but didnt provide utensils until minutes later. Fried green tomatoes: It was good. Fried perfectly. The dressing that was tossed with the side salad was super salty. Catfish po' boy: Fish was tender but super salty as well. Fried chicken sandwich: Pretty good sandwich. Chicken was huge. The fries was so soggy, not crispy at all. Also very greasy. We were a bit disappointed as we drove out of our way to try this place. Nice ambiance though. I felt I was a bit underdressed lol

For starters we had steamed clams, calamari and meatballs. It was amazing. We also had their Ribeye steak at about $53.00. I think it was a 14oz hand-cut ribeye, and it had the best butter on it. It came with mashed Yukon potatoes and marinated asparagus. We will be getting all of this again. We were staying in a hotel so took home some great pasta. The service is great. The food is amazing and the place is just so cute and ever so clean.

However, I was extremely disappointed with my entrée. I ordered the chicken Marsala and it was so bland I was actually shocked. How could nothing on the plate have any flavor? I added salt and pepper twice and that didn't even help. The vegetables had zero seasoning. The mashed potatoes had huge chunks in them and zero seasoning. The chicken and Marsala sauce, tasteless. I saw so many reviews raving about the chicken Marsala. Maybe they got a new cook because the sauce was basically just heavy cream didn't look anything like other pictures people posted. My husband got the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were very good and had lots of flavor but the marinara was also quite bland and the garlic bread was a joke. It was toasted bread with a smidge of butter, no garlic whatsoever. I will not go back for the price. Definitely not worth it. The fried artichokes and salad were good, but the entree is the most important part and they totally dropped the ball. Very disappointing.
