I wish I could give them zero stars. I called in this morning asking if I could email a document to them for printing. The lady I spoke to gave me their email address and told me it was no problem. I came in about an hour later, and the person working there was very flustered and rude to all the customers in the store. She kept repeating things like, 'I don't have time for all of this" which came off as extremely unprofessional. When I finally got helped, I asked her to print out my document I had previously sent via email and she told me she "couldn't open up the store's email because she doesn't have the password." I reminded her that I just spoke to her an hour or two ago and she told me it was no problem. She looked annoyed and told me to pay to use their computer to print it out. I told her I wouldn't pay to use their computer just because she doesn't know her own store's email password. She reluctantly agreed to allow me to sign into my email for free on their computer so that I could open up the document. When she finally printed out my document, it came out almost entirely blank. I was extremely frustrated and asked her if there was anything at all she could do as I was on a very tight schedule. "Sorry, that's not my fault," she said. "You should have made time to print it out instead of waiting to the last minute." I had been in the store for 20 minutes at that point and called/emailed ahead hours before and she has the nerve to tell me it's my fault because I had "waited until the last minute"? Wow. read more

Just after the New Year, I had Postal Annex ship a lot of fragile dish ware and other valuable items out of state. It was expensive but well worth it. The staff were very courteous and professional. They double boxed and secured my valuables in ways that ensured safe arrival (there was not a single nick on any of the fine china or other dish ware!). Went here to ship via FedEx as it was close by. The place was a mess in my opinion and not kept up well. The woman who worked there was extremely rude and short with me, as if I was disturbing her to leverage her business. Upon processing my order, I asked for a receipt at which time I was told I had to pay extra for the receipt! This is not standard business practice and speaks volumes for the reputation for this business. Bottom line, save your time and avoid this place until they improve their customer service. read more

Horrible. I stood at the desk with my package for nearly 5 minutes until I realized the woman working was sitting behind the messy desk - she clearly saw me but ignored me. Then she abruptly said "what do you want?" I responded that I had a pre-stamped addressed USPS package to send. She refused to take it. I drop off packages like this at several other postal annex stores without any issue - they appreciate the business because I usually end up buying other things. I'll never return to this location. This place is absolutely horrible! The lady that works there is ridiculously rude! I only went there because it was right by the post office and advertised passport photos which I couldn't get at CVS because the lady was sick. Not only are the expensive ($15.95-COSTCO does it for $4.95 because I had to get mine re-done!!!) it is the worst service I've had in a long time. This Indian lady was on her cell phone the whole time me and 3 other customers were in there trying to get help. I asked her if she could let me know when she was going to take the picture she nodded yes while going on with her phone convo. Of course she does not let me know takes a horrible picture of me looking extremely irritated (I wonder why???) when she asks me if it's alright I say no can I re take it. Unfortunately, I tried to mail my CD collection of music to somebody in Colorado. I arrived at the U.S Post Office a few minutes after it closed. So, I reluctantly went to the P.O. Annex. I was in a hurry, and I was not smart in how I asked for the delivery. I also was not asked for any options on how to deliver it. Over 6 weeks ago, and the package has not arrived. It's gone, and there is no tracking - because I did not ask and the store did not ask me either. When I went to the store to see if they could help in any way, they were upset and fairly rude. I would recommend next time to just wait and go to a different service, and always get a tracking. read more

If I can give no stars to this place I would. Today this morning around 9am. I came in to the empty store and they he lady was on her phone. Without her noticing me there standing in-front of her she continued with her phone conversation. To make a long story short. I was there to make a photo copy of a document and she prompted me to the printers in the front of the store she would not help. The printer settings were so dark, so I set it up to the lightest and the next print came out again super dark. So I asked her to fix the settings so I can make a clear copy and she started talking to me in her language but I don't speak Punjabi. She was really mad about her having to make a copy her self on a different printer. It was really awkward, on top of that she made a mistake with the way the paper printed so she had to do it twice at the end she charged me for the 2 dark copies that I took and the two she messed up. I did not wanted to argue so I just paid and left. This lady has no customer service and was not trained to use this machines properly. This place needs seriously someone with a little customer service and has some to little knowledge on the machines. I would have just appreciated a little sorry no problem let me help you. Instead I got this lady talking aloud in her language. I don't think I'll ever be back here. Please read this before coming to this store. I don't recommend it!!! read more

Hands down the worst service... rude rude rude & not helpful overall. Dropping off Zappos orders is a pain, they are aggressive about tracking #'s. I've tried to ship internationally, waaaaaaay overpriced and they were unable to share what their service charge is because it was "buried" in the system. I will drive to the LG location where they are super helpful and easy to work with. It's so much easier to be nice & helpful. Frankly, I'd rather wait in line (an have gone) to the post office next door where they are kind & helpful. Pass on this terrible, unhelpful place. read more

I went to send my son a care package to Afghanistan about the size of a shoebox, soap, toothbrush,travel size shampoo,coffee singles and a few munchies- the woman in there didnt even weigh it (2lbs) or see the address and said,"thats going to be $174 and no tracking once its in that country"--I couldnt afford it so i asked the PO next door what to do and they sent it safely for $12.50 and said she would have come there and sent it and then profited about $162!!!! Avoid this place. Like others, I would give zero stars if I could. Not only do they overcharge on their prices, the service is absolutely horrific. When I entered the store with my package I proceeded to be ignored by the woman working there for at least five minutes because she was texting excessively on her cell. When she finally 'noticed' me she acted as if she didn't have the time, even though I was the only customer there, and even answered a call before I could get any service. Then she proceeded to, no joke, SCOLD me on how I prepared the package while still on the call. I have shipped ebay items countless other times at other PostalAnnex+ and never had a single issue. If your primary interest is having a 24/7 mailbox, this Postal Annex outlet deserves a solid 5-star rating. (Caution: The price is about double the cost of a comparable U.S. Postal Service mailbox.) The mailbox can be quite convenient if you plan to receive FedEx and UPS deliveries that you don't want left at your front door while you're at work. Postal Annex staff will hold all items that can't fit into your mailbox, and you may pick up the items during normal business hours. OK, that's the positive. Here are the negatives, which unfortunately reduce the overall rating to 2 stars. (1) The company is generally customer-unfriendly. As many Yelpers have noted, the cost of shipments or anything for that matter (copies, faxes, shipping boxes, passport photos, etc.) are sky-high. This is due to the "convenience fee" they apply to practically everything. The customer will be charged "whatever the market will bear," and that charge is substantial. Caveat emptor. Therefore, I recommend that you limit purchases here if cost-saving is high on your list of priorities. (2) Regarding staff: The gentleman -- who is probably the owner and manager -- is helpful, courteous, and friendly. However, the two women who work with him are much less friendly and not particularly customer-oriented. "Thank you" isn't commonly in their lexicon, and smiles are few and far between. The negatives are unfortunate because I like to support small local businesses. Still, I find it hard to heartily recommend this Postal Annex outlet, since good customer service is essential, irrespective of the size of a company, and this company is wanting in that regard. Despite this business offering certain services such as live scan and notary, they may or may not be there when you go to the store. The posted hours of business do not reflect the services that they can offer. Even calling them to see if they could do a scan was useless - 2 hrs later the guy was not there even though when I called she said he would be there from 1-6 pm. customer service is HORRIBLE and the store itself smells so weird. i came in here to get fingerprinted for my new job. wasn't greeted at all by the woman behind the counter. treated kind of like i was a bother instead of a customer. while i was there i thought i'd buy a phone charger for my car because it was cheap. i told the man working there "if this doesn't work is it okay if i bring it back?" he replied "oh absolutely! no problem." then my boyfriend wanted to get a key made so while he was doing that, i ran outside to my car to try it out and sure enough it didn't work. went back inside only to find that while the man was making the key, the woman was using the bathroom conveniently located right behind the counter of the store in a little room. she was SO LOUD my boyfriend and i were both in shock and made uncomfortable by the obvious flatulence noises. what kind of business are they running? told the guy i needed to return the charger since it didn't work. he replied "it does work! it does! i'll show you" he then proceeded to grab the charger, get his phone from the back, and walk out the store to his car. mind you, there were two other customers in line behind us waiting to be helped. but instead of helping them he decided he had to prove his point... even though he said i could return it. i told him, trying to be respectful, "sir i don't have time for this we really need to leave now". he insisted i come to his car to see that it works. it was embarrassing. eventually after standing there arguing for a few minutes he let me return the FIVE DOLLAR CHARGER. needless to say, we will never be coming back. i'd rather drive twenty minutes more to a different postal annex than come back to this one. read more

I went there today to get a document notarized. First, the women behind the counter made me and another customer wait about five minutes to help either one of us as she was talking on her cell phone. Then, when I showed her the document that I wanted notarized, she gave me all kinds of crap about how I wasn't following the law. After listening to her, I finally just left and went to the UPS store down the road. No problems there. Sure everyone has a bad day, but to allow this disgruntled employee to interact with customers is just wrong. Send this employee back to India and find someone else to work there. read more

I have gone to this location from time to time including as a notary. Service is not the best but the last time was the last straw. I had to send a package but was unsure of the size that I needed. I went in and found a box that looked like it would work and bought it for around $7.50. I specifically asked if this wasn't the right size, could I return it. I thought she said yes but the accent made her answer not clear. When I went home and realized it wouldn't work, I was able to find an old box in the garage. Later I went to return the box, they said they would not refund the box, that I had to exchange it. Well, I did not return it at all. She said it is listed at bottom of receipt. I said this is bad customer service and she refused to give the refund. I left with the current box and told her to enjoy the $7.50 and left. Obviously they wanted the $7.50 more than my future business. read more
