This is one of my favorite postino's locations whenever I'm in the area. The food always consistently tasted great! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. My favorite drink is forever the Honey Cucumber lemonade. So refreshing and is the perfect drink for Arizona weather. I always do the bruschetta board. Honestly the main reason I keep coming back to postino is because of their Bruschetta board. All the other food on the menu taste great but you can find in other restaurants. But the Board is what sets Postino apart from the others. My favorite is the burrata & tomato. The tomato is just tasted amazing, the seasoning and the juice that the tomatoes marinated in is just soo good! Then topped off with a little bit of crunch from the bacon. Next is the prosciutto and fig. The prosciutto is always consistent with the high quality meat, has a slight salty and savory taste and complimented by the light sweetness from the fig and creaminess from mascarpone. Last is the Brie and apple. I always love this one because it's the perfect slice to end the meal like a dessert. The apple is crisp and refreshing, with the creaminess from the Brie. This location is a bit smaller, and the parking lot is small, so if you come at prime time you may have some trouble parking. There were some spots available around 445pm on a weekday. Indoor/outdoor seating is available as well as some bar area seating. They have happy hour drink specials until 5pm on weekdays. The ambiance is intimate and dark, I also love the back wall mural of tin lunch boxes. You can also purchase wine bottles here and they offer a wine club deal too! The service was good, I believe it's a team effort so multiple people helped us out. The tuna had enormous chunks in it but had a tang that I don't care for at all. It may have been the Dijon and mayo mix but I doubt it I like both of those. Another friend had the chicken and mozzarella panini and she said it was just "okay" my partner had the prosciutto and Brie panini and he liked it (I order it without the fig jam) but he likes figs. We came in on a Saturday early evening and were seated immediately. We ordered two mocktails: the mockingbird and the glow up. We both preferred the glow up: it was the perfect refreshing summer drink we were looking for! The mockingbird was good as well, but to us was more of a fall vibe! We ordered some sweet potato wedges to start. They took about 15 min to come out (which is not bad at all, we were not concerned whatsoever), but the staff was super apologetic that they came out after our bruschetta board. Decided to hit up postino with a couple of friends for a late lunch! We requested a booth and got a nice private booth towards the back but the lighting was non existent there so it felt a little bit like a dungeon and it was so warm! I think a bit more lighting in that back area would have given this the 5 stars. Our first date was at this Postino, so it was incredibly special when my boyfriend proposed outside and we were seated at the same table where we had our first date. Our waitress, I believe her name was Angel, if not I'm so sorry, she had glasses and tattoos, but she was so kind and so happy for us. She asked about our favorite dessert, and we were excited when she brought one out for us, it was delicious! Every time I go to postino, I HAVE to get at least some bruschetta. Fun fact, you don't need to get an entire board, you can get 1 piece up to 4 pieces (an entire board). My 2 favorite are the French onion and spicy pepper jam. Other runner ups include Brie apple and fig and salami and pesto. I like to get 2 pieces of bruschetta, and a side salad. Fills me just enough without being too full. The vibes at the restaurant are always great, and stay consistent through all locations. I remember when this place first opened in Arizona and it was a real treat to come visit. It was very unique at the time and offered a lot of different variety and just a cool concept. They've since expanded and they actually have one open in Orange County where I live. I was visiting in town and after one of the museums we decided to pop in. There's inside an outside seating and we took first available, which was inside. Service was efficient and friendly although we had two servers because one went on break. Not a big deal overall the bread/bruschetta/toast or whatever you wanna call them we're good. I feel that they've been better in the past. The bread has been better and the toppings and portion of the toppings have been better. At both the Irvine and this location. (I hate to compare) seemed to have what I would like to call essence of toppings. Like very thin spread of sauce or other ingredients on top. It's just hard to describe. My mom loves this place so it was a treat for her to come visit. I would probably choose to go somewhere else next time honestly. We did enjoy the shrimp scampi and the Caesar salad. There is plenty of parking. I think we had the apple and brie. Again just very thinly sliced apple and small amount of cheese. The tomato mozzarella one was so basic. I'm annoyed that we even ordered it. I thought we had ordered something different so I guess I have to manage my expectations. I did not enjoy the prosciutto item. If you can handle the goat cheese, get it. The drinks are decent but nothing super spectacular. Would get the drinks to go with the food vibe though. On Wednesday, November 12th, 2025, I recall the day mainly because I took a picture of my meal at dinner before heading out for drinks. I wanted to relax with a martini near home. That evening, we went to "Postinos," but upon arrival, no one was at the host stand to seat us. I went to the restroom before being seated. My fiancé stayed outside in the parking lot--about 20 to 30 feet away--smoking near our car at the north side of the back bar area. On the patio, only a couple was seated. When I came out of the restroom, my fiancé mentioned that they didn't have the blue cheese olives for my martini. He also shared that someone had come out to the parking lot to tell him that the restaurant was non-smoking. Since this was well over 20 feet from the door, I was surprised and a bit taken aback by the comment. I asked if they truly believed smoke from the parking lot could travel inside, especially to a mostly empty restaurant with only two tables occupied and the patio area. My fiancé, who often wears sweatpants, may have been judged based on his attire, or perhaps the staff were simply being dismissive. I felt a bit embarrassed, as I had hoped to enjoy a nice evening at one of my favorite spots. Even though my fiance didn't mind and suggested let's still have a drink, I was mortified enough for the both of us. Needless to say, we just left as from my point of view --they were not in a rush to serve us. This experience has made me reconsider visiting this place again or recommending it to others. It reminds us that we should never judge someone solely based on appearances or assumptions. I was always taught this in customer service, you never know how much someone has in their pocket. This was truly a disappointing evening; as when I have been here in the past & it was always very pleasant. If you look at my page, I'm not one to write negative reviews but honest ones.
