I was lucky enough to grab a reservation for this place on opening night. BOY, all the hype about Postino coming to Tucson was totally on point! Bruschetta selection? Excellent. Wine menu? Excellent. Snacky things menu? Excellent. Service? Excellent. Literally everything was excellent. I was beyond impressed. I ordered a bruschetta board and an order of skewers, and that was enough to share between two people. Of the four bruschettas we ordered (smoked salmon & pesto, almond hummus and chopped tomato, sweet/spicy pepper jam & goat cheese, and the seasonal bruschetta), the smoked salmon & pesto was definitely the best, although the others weren't too far away in rating. The skewers were also delightful; the chicken was surprisingly juicy, although the beef skewer was honestly a tad bit salty. All in all, the ambiance of Postino makes it a great place to hang out/catch up with friends while grabbing some tasteful bites and sipping on fine wine. In fact, our friends enjoyed this place so much that it is probably going to be our new go-to bruschetta/wine happy hour place ($5 pitchers/wine until 5pm whaaaaaaaaaat?!?). I'm really looking forward to trying out what else Postino has to offer in the future! read more

Waiting for this place to open has been torture, but they're finally here! Haven't even gotten to the Boards or Panini, and that's because the "Snacky Things" were so bomb! I highly recommend the Tuna Tartare and the Meatballs & Goat Cheese (for real, you'll be spooning up the delicious pomodoro sauce!). I haven't even got to the wine, beer and cocktail list. Servers were hella cool about helping me pair which wines went best with what I ordered. Atmosphere? Great music with an open air option when it's nice out (uh, we're in Tucson...it's always nice! I've been enjoying Postino almost since they first came to town. Their happy hour is a ganga on drinks, unfortunately no food but they have a nicely put together menu to snack or dine from. I recently joined their wine club and aside from the great selection of wines you get every 3 months you also get some kind of hook up every month. One of them was a free brunch item so I finally tried their breakfast and it was tasty! Probably won't be my go to spot for breakfast but it is especially nice to have that option when their neighbors are so crazy busy all the time. The pace at Postino is much more laid back and relaxed on a Sunday. Their space is beautiful and the staff is always very friendly, excited to see them again soon! read more

Lively, contemporary, & family friendly. It is an ideal choice for , brunch ,lunch or happy hour. I would not recommend it for dinner as the menu choices were not really constructed for dinner and or special events & the wine selections were somewhat limited. The waiter service could be more streamlined albeit they were eager & friendly, we waited longer than expected between drinks. Unless I missed, I did not see any cocktail options either. But we enjoyed our first visit here & would definitely come back with friends for probably a late afternoon meal and/or happy hour. read more

I was over the moon when they finally opened a Postino here in town! Had my first experience back in Tempe and always have to wait till we're back in the area for a good bruschetta board. Postino's bruschetta board is so good, I actually have never ordered anything else. I got the prosciutto, Brie and apple, smoked salmon, and artichoke. My friend got the chef's charcuterie and said she enjoyed it. We went during HH and I did not realize that they'd bring me a whole pitcher of beer instead of a single glass, but that's a great deal to me! It was my friend's birthday and we got a delicious, complimentary dessert that we devoured. Only downside was we were seated in the glass window corner and there was an insane amount of flies. read more

The first time I came here for dinner I loved it. The ambiance was great and our server was phenomenal... that was about a year ago and service seems to have gone downhill. The food was mediocre at best and our service was not good. My friends and I were patient at the beginning because restaurants are always busy on Friday nights. We had no problem waiting for a table! Our server greeted us after a few minutes, but she didn't return until well after we'd received our food. By this point the restaurant seemed to be less than 50% occupied. I asked her for a refill on water (which had been empty for a while) and it took 5+ minutes for someone to come to the table. As someone who used to work in this industry I'm pretty patient when it comes to dining out, but this experience was just not good, especially considering the amount of people who'd left after we got there. And the recommendation I got for food was not a good one; I ordered the OMG Grilled Cheese which comes with bacon and tomato soup dip. It did not come with bacon and was not very good. The soup seemed more like pasta sauce and the grilled cheese was average. I'm disappointed because I was so excited to bring my friends here and the overall experience was poor. I'd caution going to this restaurant during any sort of peak hours.. the wait doesn't seem to be worth it. read more

I always get the chicken salad to eat, it always consistent with taste and presentation throughout all the Postinos I have visited. We were very disappointed when we first greeted by hostess with water our server never came. We waited 34mins until a server finally apologized and said she was taking our table. If the food wasn't worth the wait I would not have gave such good stars. I will also say that they forgot to put skewers order in, after eating the amazing tender and juicy skewers they had to double confirm our dessert choice in end as well. What was crazy is we came at a non busy hour with maybe three other tables outside, and many servers walked by us and many making eye contact during that first 1/2 hour we were waiting. Even the host said she would get our server and took additional 15mins. If you do order here I would suggest putting all the order in at one time. Food is amazing literally can't go wrong with anything, but the service definitely makes me second guess my next visit. read more

Ever since I moved to the burbs, I've been missing out on my weekly wine nights with you :( it's been a long time, but I got to visit this week, on Tuesday night, and it was just like I remember...except I wasn't in college anymore. Lol, but the company made me feel like I was. The servers and customers, trendy as always, had me feeling underdressed as I walked in. Then, the service washed that away and made me feel right at home. Kristi (I hope I spelled that right!) was attentive and had super kind, warm vibes that I could chill with all the time. The manager was welcoming and casual, and basically became our food consultant on every course we ordered for the night. Primo choices were made! So much so, we even brought a bottle home with us. Bruschetta always on point. Perfect bread, and lucky for me, seasonal one was tomato jam. Yum! I love all the jam ones. Had a glass of Perfekt and Holly's Way; and I would buy bottles of those to take home. My partner had Prosecco, as always, and tried the Vrai Caillou. That's the one we brought home. Open, fresh, comfortable with a bar in the middle of the room - always a plus. It's craft beer and artisanal wine. Go with the wonderful fare that does not disappoint. I am not sure exactly what was missing for us here but the experience was meh. I recall visiting Postino in Phoenix ten years ago and it was absolutely epic. I recall drooling over the bruschetta. This time it seemed skimpy with minimal toppings and the bread itself was pretty flavorless and dry. It didn't taste like anything special and for four small slices of bread with a little bit of toppings, 17.50 seemed obscene. My veggie sandwich was also underwhelming. Husband did like his beef dip sandwich though. I am not sure I was satisfied enough to return. Service was very friendly though. read more

Lovely ambience with the floor to ceiling windows, not expensive enough to break the dudes bank but nice enough he won't feel like a cheapskate, (though I'm a millennial so melt if they're willing to pay for a white claw at this point). We came here on a Thursday and it was quite busy with a very energetic crowd. There was a bit of a wait for outside tables (of course we came right at the busy dinner hour so no surprise there) so we grabbed an inside table. The good thing is that there are many tables in the Restaurant but with the way it is configured, we didn't feel cramped at all. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were friendly BUT I will say our server Kristi really stood out. Kristi came over to our table shortly after we sat down which is a HUGE plus since perhaps it is the New Yorker in me where I like to be seated and have a minute to settle but having someone come over shortly after and even offer water is a big plus in my book so there is the first plus for Kristi. Kristi asked for our drink order and asked if we had been there before. We said we had not. She inquired about what we were in the mood for as far as level of hunger, type of food (appetizers versus full meal or a combination). She gave us some recommendations and of course jokingly we said "I am sure everything is good". She said yes but she would absolutely give us her feedback on specific dishes. We went with her recommendations with the meatballs (and she included crostini which was awesome because the sauce from the meatballs should not be left behind). We also went with her recommendation of a panini but each getting one half versus a whole one for each of us. The mozzarella and tomato was definitely worth it. We also had the sweet potato fries which came with an amazing dipping sauce. Everything was so good and we pretty much gobbled it down. Kristi checked on us periodically which was perfect since she didn't stop by constantly which some servers do (which is preferable over those servers who take your order and then go into the witness protection program to never be seen again). Postino on Grant was recommended to me from two of my friends. They raved about the wine and boards and now I know why! They have cozy outdoor seating, great happy hour specials, and a solid wine list. Their menu was super yummy too. We shared a Chefs board, skewers, and, a panini. The prices were good as well. The only thing I would tell the service staff is: keep track of your time and don't disappear when guests need service. Our server was OK but hard to find at times. We'll be back! If we had to pick 1, the collective favorite was the Apple Brie. Excellent Prickly Pear Lemonade, my new favorite highly recommend. One of our friends who lives local & eats here more frequently said the crème brûlée was really good so I gave it a try. Good, crunchy layer of Carmel sugar on top with served warm crème on bottom (more eggy custard than cream) Great service. We are repeat diners & will chose this place again. They had vegan & vegetarian menu options which our party appreciates. The OMG grilled cheese sounded good, veggie panini & sandwiches also looked like great choices.
