Pot on fire is a pre-built hot pot spot. They have all the popular flavors such as Taiwanese spicy, mushroom, curry, and miso, but also have unique flavors like pumpkin and satay. The pots are filled with meats, vegetables, fish balls, and other ingredients based on your flavor. It comes piping hot with either a side of rice and noodles. You also get a green or black tea if you go for lunch. They have a QR code on the table so you can either order on your phone or through the server. The food comes out pretty quickly. I've tried their pumpkin, house special, and Taiwanese spicy. The pumpkin is very unique! A bit sweet, but still savory with all of the other ingredients. The house special is classic beef/pork flavor and the Taiwanese has a good numbing spice. read more

Just wanted simply hot pot, individual, not all you can eat and not with all you can eat sushi or bbq thrown into the mix. When I lived in California, there was a place I frequented called Tasty Pot and after some Yelp research, this was the closest thing I could find. Right in the center of Chinatown, small plaza but parking was easy to find for a Saturday night. Plenty of seating, you scan a QR code to view the menu and order right from your phone. The have sauces at your table and a sauce dish to create your own sauce mix. Got the Taiwanese spicy beef pot, medium spicy, and popcorn chicken. Clean restrooms. Looking forward to adding this place to our regular rotation! read more

Been very busy... Might be might last review before being removed as Elite.... This place is located in Sin City on Spring Mountain Road. Place is nice and simply decorated. Clean and not claustrophobic. Went on a Tuesday afternoon so the place was not busy. Seated immediately and the wait staff very friendly. Didn't know it was Taiwanese hot pot. Ordered the Sukiyaki Pot. It came as a single serving bowl, kinda nice and unique. It had beef, corn, mushrooms, veggies, udon noodles, baby corn, steamed fish cake, pork meat ball, tofu skin, and a crab stick. Ordered mild. Also ordered pig intestines on the side. The broth was good, especially with the cilantro. It was heated with a single burner stove which was a novelty for me. I liked it, especially with the rice noodle added. The portion was, in my opinion, for more than 1 person. I enjoyed it and know I will be back to try their other offerings... Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get... this meal cost around $34.00. I recommend you try it as it's a little different from the hot pot I'm used to. We arrived at around 4:00 pm and were seated right away. Their menu has a very big variety of options for individual hot pot. I went with the mushroom pot and I really enjoyed it. The broth of was very tasty and there was a generous amount of veggies and meat. A lot of their other options look really good, and I am excited to try more. My first time going here. An avid Pot on Fire customer from Chino, what a great excitement to see them in Las Vegas Chinatown, most especially with all the rain this past few days. This location compares to Pot on Fire from LA. The wait time to get seated is quick. There is no waiting time there is no automated waitlist check-in system set-up. The food is excellent, served with fresh and quality ingredients. The service we received from Li is awesome, she made sure that our broth refills, alchohol fire, and water refills are constant. There are quite a few options of hot pots to choose from. And I like that they have different appetizers including popcorn chicken! Which I was most excited for. We were a party of 4 and had a high chair for a toddler. The tables are smaller than other establishments.it was cramped when our pots came out. They have 3 containers on the table but one is empty. I'd recommend adding chili in the empty one for people who want more spice. But the other 2 sauces were delicious. We ordered popcorn chicken with spice on the side. The popcorn chicken was supposed to be for my friends son but when it came out the server said the kitchen accidentally sprinkled some spice on top. It was actually all over the chicken and for me, it was spicy so he couldn't eat it either. I ended up ordering another one and they overly seasoned it so it was extremely salty. Some pieces were edible and some weren't. It was disappointing because the popcorn chicken was moist. Normally orange green tea is very fresh tasting due to freshly squeezed orange juice, if you've tried at other locations but this one is very floral. I tried my friends' tea and usually I love tea but decided not to order. We got the house special. I got mine mild with regular tofu instead of stinky tofu & my friend got his mild with extra stinky tofu. He wasn't sure if the extra tofu stinky tofu was already added in his pot or not. My gf got the tomato soup. The hotspots were decent, just needed a little more veggies but had a good amount of protein. I do like their to go containers as it's deep. Servers did check on us often to refill water and they were nice. There's a 3.25%ish service charge for credit cards and they tell you when you pay. But, there's no itemized bill which was odd. read more

Everything is SO GOOD!! My husband and I saw this place on TikTok and decided to give it a try. Get a tornado potato!! We shared the sukiyaki hot pot and it was just enough for us to share, but if you are crazy-hangry, get an extra side of sliced beef. Will be making this a go-to spot for date nights! The food was OK. It wasn't very tasty yet I will say I don't have a lot of experience with this type of food yet I didn't enjoy it very much at all especially for the price. The noodles looked like something from a package I could buy at the grocery store, which was a little disappointing to me. The ambience was OK and actually not so great yet it looked very clean. I initially started my hot pot research on Instagram. After seeing an ad, I wasn't just attracted to the building to. It's alluring lights and it's decor abel seating but instead the aroma that lingered in the area. When we first got shot, we were serviced by the kindest young girl. She was some sort of Chinese. I believe she was very helpful and she was very nice and it was very good assistance to us and was always when we needed help even when the store got a little bit busy. On the other hand, the food was out of this country. I remember being in Taiwan once and eating this hot pot on the side of the street and something about this restaurant just really brought back those memories of being with my grandparents in Taipei. Healthy Fats Before coming here, I have been looking for a place to have a simple bone broth soup, no fancy ambiance, no over-complicated menus, & no loud music, just a straight to the point meal. Out of all 5 that I've searched, this stood out for me the most, simply because of their approach and customizability. And I'm very glad I did!! Loved the quiet ambiance, the cleanliness, and the atmosphere. The staff are so helpful explaining everything and the simplicity of the place makes it perfect! Think of this place as an "inverted" hotpot place. Usually, a hotpot place that you may be familiar with is that they bring you the ingredients, then YOU cook it like your typical K-Pop/J-pop BBQ joints. This one is the other way around, here you grab a bowl & tongs, pick the ingredients to your liking, and then THEY will cook it for you!!! What an awesome idea, and innovative in my honest opinion!! Then the meal, OMFG! My custom bone broth soup (the light-hazy broth) is close to perfection! The texture is on the milky side similar to your usual Tonkotsu Ramen, but the taste is sublime. Since I'm breaking my fast, I picked almost every protein that I could find! And surprisingly enough, they have (artificial) crabsticks!! I love those suckers! The only thing that I can knock it down a notch is that, it's a bit too spicy for my liking (I'm definitely NOT a spicy food eater), spicy enough to make me sweat tight away! My only suggestion is that they should offer a spice level for the BBS as this will likely be a bestseller if they do it. My aunt sukiyaki (the clear-dark broth) looks very appetizing, although I haven't tried it myself, she told me it was surprisingly good. If you want a customizable hotpot place without the cooking part and no BS, then this is your place!! A definite recommendation from me!!!

The host that served us, younger fellow with glasses, he was informative and explained how the process worked. He made us feel welcome to inquire and ask questions and offered samples of the different broths. Some places make you feel rushed or can make you feel dumb for not knowing how to order, but not at Hot Point. We really appreciated the walk through and kindness from the staff. The food was delicious, fresh ingredients, when there were ingredients running low, the server quickly refilled. My 4 different broth options with mild, medium, hot spice options. Several veggie options, tofu options, meat and seafood proteins. Variety of noodles and sauces. As a plus they offer free lemon water & sweet tea! They keep the heat in the kitchen, so when you're enjoying soup in the summer time, it's not hot in the restaurant. The music they play is upbeat, was singing along to a lot of the jams. The host stopped by at just the right times, not too son after receiving food and not too late where we might have needed something else. When we had left overs, the host kindly packed our togo bowls & separated the noodles from the broth for my auntie. Service is top notch. Theyve only been open for 3 months, if you're looking for a local business to support Hot Point is a great choice. With 4 people at Happy Hour, 3 of us got big portions & 1 smaller portion. We paid under $95 dollars, in this economy we gotta save where we can. My family & I really appreciate the savings. Will be coming back soon

We started with Dumplings and Chinese Buns, then went with Sweet & Sour Pork, Mild Seafood Noodle Soup, Combination Fried Rice, and Spicy Soy Chicken. All were well prepared and delicious. The chicken had and excellent kick, ordered it very spicy. The service was very good, the waiter was running around trying to cover the whole place as it filled up. Can't tell why the sauce tasted soo off, wonder if they put way to much potato starch or something. If you eat a lot of Jjajangmyeon 짜장면, first bite you'll be like why does it taste like this? was my reaction. The Jjajangmyeon 짜장면 does take a while to come out too, the shrimp came out first even though we all ordered at the same time. Also ordered their chili shrimp and it had way to much batter, it was more of a sour flavor then anything. I had a side plate full of batter that I separated from the shrimp... We thought we just went in at a off time since we went in at 8PM and the place was EMPTY. Nope, I see why this place was empty. I don't understand all the good reviews on here, are they friends and family of the owners? are they paid? Coming from a Korean, skip this place and save your money. We were super disappointed with our meals.
