These fries aren't the best of the best, but they're so addicting because of their seasoning. BBQ is my go-to flavor, but this time I wanted to try cheddar too. This is a really good place to eat at if you're stuck in the mall and starving! It's affordable, and it's fast food. Of course, it's not some place I'd drive specifically to just to eat at. After placing my order, the guy told me to wait in the other side for my order, I mentioned to him "I haven't paid yet" (debit card in hand) and he responded, they'll take it over there. So I waited on the side about 15 minutes, and finally, after 5 people who were behind me got their orders, I approached someone asking to check on my order. I was told I do not have an order. It was pretty sad for me to see that the fries aren't even fresh and are frozen. We got the giga? We chose garlic Parmesan and sour cream and onion as out two flavors. Also we got them in Mega, and you can get them in Giga and get two flavors in one tub...but for me nah... I'd like to save some gig space in my 250 gigabytes hard drive Xbox 360. I was impressed. The fries were crispy and salty (thanks to the excessive seasoning) but they were good and fun to eat! How come they don't make this sh*t in the county fair? We learned this place originated in the Philippines and their other locations are far as hell like: Santa Anita,Canoga Park,Northridge and probably the closest from here would be West Covina. The fries are really delicious, but like all good things, should be eaten in moderations since they are very high in sodium. Growing up in the Philippines, Potato Corner was the one stop we always made whenever we went to the mall. When I heard that they were opening up the chain in the US and in Cerritos, CA, I was ridiculously excited! I was definitely worried that it wasn't going to taste anything like the Potato Corner in the Philippines but to my surprise it did! When they started shaking the bucket to mix the flavor, I was pretty excited because that's exactly how it's done back in the homeland. When i took a bite of the sour cream and onion flavored french fries, memories of the Philippines started coming back to me! It was DEEELICIOUS! Now I give the taste 5 stars but I'm docking it a star because it takes quite a bit of time for them to make it. I was lucky enough to go when no one was at the mall so I figured it wouldn't take long. Although I appreciate french fries right out of the fryer, it probably wouldn't be a good idea to go here if you're in a hurry. The price is okay. They're not prices you see at fast food joints but the taste is definitely worth it to me and they gave you a generous portions! Expect around $4-6 depending on your size. I am pleasantly surprised with potato corner. Located in the Cerritos Mall across from Yogurtland, Potato Corner is the perfect snack shop where you can go to recharge during your shopping spree. You order your fries along with the flavor and wait for the fries to be made. The fries were crispy and good. The seasonings were a different story... What I tried: Tater tots with chili & BBQ (my favorite, the flavoring was good and the tater tot was crispy) Criss cut fries with sour cream & onion (this was my least favorite. The favoring was bland and the fries weren't that great) Curly fries with cheddar (I liked how crispy the fries were, but the flavoring was alright) The only thing I didn't like about this place is that the flavorings were super salty.
