Came here close to closing time for nostalgic food memories and this place didn't disappoint. Very generous serving of fries and tater tots with ample seasoning. The young girl working the counter was friendly and kind. This is the potato corner I remember, tasty with 2010s core mall Americana ambience. Yummy BBQ and cheddar flavors just how I remember.

Good but not as good as I remembered. I choose the flavors sour cream & onion and chili bbq. The chili bbq had a slight kick and had some sweetness to it. While the sour cream & onions was very flavorful and onion-y. They were pretty generous with the seasoning and made sure that every fry was well coated in the powder. While the flavors were good, the fry itself fell short because they were not that crunchy. Most of them were floppy so I think that greatly effected the taste.

The service was great, the food however was disappointing. Their fried potatoes are always a hit. However, when I decided to try the baked potatoes, they were so hard and undercooked. It felt like I was chewing on plastic, and tasted bitter. I didn't know whether to ask them to cook it a bit longer because I didn't want to be such a bother. Overall, just stick to the normal fried potatoes.

Hold on now because those were the best fries that I have ever eaten... This is a small little stand in the middle of Cerritos mall with about three workers manning it. The workers were nice and I waited about seven minutes for my fries after ordering. I ordered the BBQ fries and I did not realize how many fries were going to be in the container! It doesn't look like a lot in the picture, but I felt like there were so many fries and that it was worth the price that I paid. The fries were warm and more on the floppier side (but still had a bit of a crunch), which I prefer over a stiff, crunchy over-fried fry. The BBQ seasoning was DELICIOUS. Definitely more on the sweet side. I wish there was a potato corner closer to where I live, but maybe that would be too dangerous for my health haha.

I recommend two different versions of the flavors that I'll be talking about. The first one is Sweet Potato Fries with Chilli BBQ. This flavor is sweet and savory. If you're not a fan of BBQ flavored things, don't you worry... It doesn't even taste like BBQ. I get it for the spicy savory flavor. The second version I get is Curly Fries with Cheddar & Chilli BBQ. This taste is very savory with a cheesy flavor. I would eat this right away because the powdery gets pretty sticky once your fries get cold. The service is amazing and I wish they had a bigger area in the mall since it is located at the center like a booth. There isn't any seating areas, but I recommend going to the cafeteria if you want to sit and eat.

The reason for my existence, never change. My favorite combination is the regular fries with BBQ and Sour Cream Onion seasoning. One bite and my day becomes significantly better. I don't care about the service, just give me the fries. Unrelated but the mascot does look questionable, he looks silly in a scary way. I also don't like that he has hair, and only 4 strands, might as well go bald. I love Potato Corner, forever.

Went here while we were at Cerritos Mall for a quick snack and it is exactly what I was expecting haha. You basically order a cup or bucket of fries and can order powdered flavors on top. I ordered sour cream and onion+bbq on the recommendation of my cousins. I really did enjoy these flavors but I feel like they dump way too much powder on top (and I usually prefer things more salty/flavored but this was a LOT) and then the fries get soggy so quick. Not as crispy or good as I was expecting but still a nice little snack while you're at the mall. If I go again, might go for the garlic/parmesan instead and ask for a light dusting of seasoning which may suit my tastebuds better.

DANG IT POTATO CORNER WHY ARE YOU SO ADDICTING Are they the best fries I've ever had? Nooooo BUT their customizability and tastiness keeps me coming back! I love the assortment of powders that you can choose from. I've tried almost all the flavors and like them all. The flavor powder that comes on the fries reminds me of the powder on chips..and I think that's what makes them so addictive! I know other reviewers have mentioned a powder shortage, but I didn't have an issue with that. In fact, my fries had SO much powder. I even had leftover powder after I finished my fries and I was so tempted to just eat a mouthful of powder haha This particular location was a little bit slow in serving their food, but they were friendly and nice. Overall, Potato Corner is on my list of Foods-I-Will-Always-Eat-When-I-Go-To-The-Mall, right up there with Cinnabon and Wetzel's Pretzels. LOVE YOU, POTCO.

I haven't had Potato Corner in what felt like several years, and it's always a nice snack. I tried the BBQ with a friend, and the quality here wasn't as good as the other locations. I'm not sure if it was just the batch we ordered, but the fries felt flimsy, lacking of substance beyond the initial bite. There was also quite a bit of "air" inside the cup since they make a cone-shaped paper they use to fill the cup. At $10 for the largest size, it didn't feel like it was too worth it.

A great place for a filling bite to eat in cerritos mall!! This little booth has almost every fry style you can think of, with many different options of seasonings. My favorite has to be the curly fry option with cheese and chili bbq seasonings. This mix is very cheesy and spicy so if you like bold flavors, try this out for yourself! The service here is always amazing and the fries come out very fast even with their lines. I do think it would be better as a larger storefront though, and closer to the food court so there can be seating near by. The fries also get cold and sticky quick so make sure to eat them while they're hot! I'd also like to see them add more sizing options for their fries, but still such a yummy snack for on the go munching!

I'll be the first to admit that I'm insanely addicted to this place to the point that I would purposely make sure that my errands are in the vicinity of Potato Corner. While vacationing in the Philippines, it's one of my favorite places to stop by whenever I walk around in the malls. So it was to my absolute delight when I saw they opened in LA and near my place! Although it makes me a little homesick for the Philippines, Potato Corner does not disappoint. I can snack on them all the time. And since it's the US, the portions are massive compared to the Philippines, but hey, I'm totally fine with that. My favorite is the Cheddar flavor (original or curly). It's making me crave it as I type. read more

I used to LOVE potato corner. But because of their powder shortage, they barely put any seasonings, you can only taste their dry fries. If you guys are around this area, I recommend to go to the Lakewood location. read more

Y'all really stopped giving extra seasoning! I know it's a corporate thing since even the Lakewood one stopped it too. At least the Lakewood location gives a decent amount of seasoning, this Cerritos location doesn't give enough lol. read more

Ridiculous! There's no doubt that these fries are delicious, but seriously.. $4 for medium sized fries? Yeah right. We're basically paying for the powder that they put on the fries. What makes it worse is that our order of fries didn't even have enough sour cream and onion flavor... For the most part, it tasted like regular french fries! Also, the wait was ridiculous! We ordered fries not a steak dinner. I think I'm better off just buying fries from good ol' McDee's, get flavored powder, and shake my own "potato corner" fries at home. Don't waste your money here. It's just a one time affair. read more

With numerous rave reviews about this place, I knew I needed to taste this sooner or later. I thought to myself ... what could be so special about flavored french fries? Granted, french fries are definitely on the top ten list of foods/munchies, but what can be so special about these? I've tried this place twice so far. I love the sour cream & onion flavor. I've tried the cheddar, and I'm not a huge fan. The other flavors I have yet to try. But the sour cream & onion has received high marks in my book. Along with the different flavors, you can also get the fries in different styles - regular, curly, sweet potato, criss-cut, and hash browns. I personally like curly fries. Seasoned well, and cooked to crunchy goodness. The hash browns are decent. However, at the end of the day, they are french fries with powder flavoring. Paying $4-6 for french fries with flavoring is just a bit too pricey. On top of that, this location is very slow. Most of the fries are already pre-made, so many times it's just a matter of putting it in the bucket and shaking it to add flavor. Why does it take so long to get my fries?? Down 2 stars because of price and service. Dang, so close Potato Corner, but you gotta shape up. read more

my favorite potato stop! Everytime i get a chance to be in Cerritos, i would always drop by to grab my all time favorite sour 'n cream and cheese potato fries mix :) If you've never been here, shame on you! haha, I've had good ones but this is just something that you will crave from time to time. service was okay, theyre not really that friendly but i would just think they're practically just doing their job which is basically to give us our potato needs haha! Price is ok, you have options if you dont wanna spend too much on transfat that will just keep on piling up in your tummy :D read more

I was excited to see a Potato stand opening up at Cerritos Mall. I love potatos and I couldn't wait for it to be open. We ordered the Potato Chips with sour cream and onion flavor, the chips were crispy and I loved it! We ordered the biggest size to share with four people and the servers were so friendly they kept packing on more! It was good! :) I can't wait to try some more! The only sad part is though, they only accept cash right now! read more

Finally got to try this place out, the device is really fast. The fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the flavors that you choose from coat the fries completely. I would recommend the chili cheese fries, it taste amazing! read more

I was supposed to give them 5 stars but my first visit sucked. I was in line for about 10 minutes and then I noticed the sign "no more loopy fries" so I just planned on getting the original fries. When I got to the front they told me they ran out of original fries about 30 mins ago.....so why was there no sign? Anyway, for the next couple of visits, the service became faster and they didn't run out of loopy fries anymore which was nice. Try: Loopy Fries BBQ and Original Fries Cheddar. I think this is the first branch of potato corner in the US if I am not mistaken, potato corner is a filipino company and the first experience I had was in our school cafeteria when I was in the 3rd grade I think. Nice that they finally have a branch that is about 15 mins away from home. read more

If you have 20-45 Minutes of free time before a movie, then this place would be a good place to wait. Seriously, the wait for the fries is so long. I've been to this place at least 5 times and there is always a long wait. And it's not like they have an overflowing amount of customers, its just that they cant keep up. They need more deep fryers. In fairness to them, they do tell you before you order that the wait is about 10 minutes (this means 30). What annoys me is that when you follow up, they tell you that they are going according to the order number when in fact, there is no specific order they go by (there were 2 People that came after me and got their fries first and i wasnt the only one that complained about this). I grew up loving their flavored fries but i think i've had enough of their poor service. It is quite expensive too. I dont think i'll be coming back for more until they figure out how to get the fries ready faster. read more

POTATO! I love potato corner! I love the seasonings they use! It reminds me of this french fries booth I used to have in my elementary school in the Philippines! I always get Chili BBQ mmmmm. Their fries are cooked to order and the servers are nice. The line could get long but I never had to wait more than 10 minutes. This place would be perfect if it wasn't so expensive. read more

I love potato corner! Such a great idea The service is great and very welcoming! Ask them for a sample and they will give it to you! My favorite flavor is barbecue but honestly get the chilli BBQ! I'm just too much of a baby to handle it haha! Although they take a bit longer to make my food than I would like, it nonetheless is worth it! Definitely coming again for A giga this time ! read more

The two flavors I got and really liked were sour cream n onion and chili BBQ. I didn't give this place a perfect 5 because the fries are not fresh but it still tasted okay. They have very interesting choices for fries and chicken which are really worth a try. read more

Delicious flavored fries and all things potato. You can have it classic, curly, as chips, etc. There's really nothing entirely special about this place, since all it does is sprinkle a flavor powder of your choice over fries, but what you see is what you get and it's some tasty comfort food. You can get your fries in three sizes, but only the giga size (largest) allows you to mix and match two different flavors. Oh, and the chicken tenders aren't too bad either. But I always forget to buy some ranch dip, so I end up going down to Chick-fil-a and raiding their condiments. There's nothing wrong with that, right? read more

I feel bad bc I really wanted to like this place. I heard great things so I was expectin it to be awesome. But they were just regular fries, with some salt flavoring on them. I just felt like they were chips, to be honest. And for flavored salt fries, they were way overpriced! I think next time I'm goin to get pringles for a dollar and be done with it. read more

Love love LOVE this place! This is the best place to go if you are craving a great snack. You get what you pay for: the servings are pretty large and the buckets come in a plastic bag, which the employees very generously fill to the top! I have been here a few times, and I have yet to receive greasy fries (very well-cooked, in other words). My personal favorite is the sweet potato fries with the chili bbq flavor, but I know the other flavors are yummy too! Overall review: great service, great location, awesome food =) read more

I must confess, I have a problem. Potato Corner is just too good! This location definitely beats the Potato Corner at Lakewood mall. I love how they actually fry their french fries so its more crispy! If you get a giga size you can choose two flavors. Personally my favorite is chili bbq and sour cream and onion. read more

The loopy fries were good. I had the sour cream and onion flavor. I also had the tater tots, and those were good too. However, I don't think I will go back because it took about 20 mins for my order to come out.. That kind of ridiculous for french fries. read more

I love Potato Corner ever since I was a little kid back in the Philippines. I went to LA for winterbreak, dropped by this place, and it was okay. I wish the workers weren't lazy because their countertops were dirty.. Lots of powdered seasoning.. I wish they kept their working place neat. Now that I'm back in SF, I'd definitely go to Potato Corner in Tanforan. read more

If you enjoy Lay's Sour Creme and Onion Potato chips, then you must have the french fries with the Sour Creme and Onion flavoring!! It takes the experience to another level! Make sure you get the largest size and you'll love it! read more

Went there today and fries are good right out the fryer but felt kinda robbed knowing they were frozen along with their chicken strips. I'd get small portion of fries cuz once they get cold u can really tell they weren't 'freshly' made. Sour cream n onion tasted pretty good but garlic parm wasnt that great read more

this branch is good. very friendly staff and the manager too. I like my sour cream onion fries (GIGA) extra soggy with extra flavoring. they did it to perfection for me. corporate however SUCKS in getting back to potential investors. I have sent them emails and left voice messages trying to get a branch open in our area...... 3 months after they finally replied to my email.... I guess they are not that interested in expanding... oh well. read more

This place literally has the worlds best flavored french fries. My personal favorite is sour cream and onion flavored anything. Especially sweet potato. That is the most popular flavor on sweet potato. Customer service is great and if you've never been there, the employees help you choose what best fits your desire. Whether you like spicy or salty, they will find what you want and sample you anything on the menu. I just give this place 5 stars!! read more

It's really good. Fresh fries and the flavors are delicious. They also give you a lot of fries. You usually end up waiting for a few minutes but that's because the fries are freshly cooked, which I rather have fresh fries anyways. read more

I think they seasoned the meat but I think if I would've kept the cheese it would've had more flavor. The fries were nice and crispy and hot. The counter person was very helpful and friendly. The ambiance was a mall food court so you have a lot of people eating with you.

For the price, I expected much better. We ordered three burgers no fries no drinks and spent nearly $40, yet the food did not come close to meeting expectations. The quality and portioning felt inconsistent, and the overall experience was not satisfying. Based on this visit, I would have a hard time returning or recommending this place to others.

The baked beans were a solid side, slightly sweet and hearty, and paired nicely with the brisket. The Sunkist was cold and refreshing and balanced out the meal. The spot itself is casual and easygoing, and the staff was friendly. Food came out hot and fresh without a long wait. Definitely a place I'd come back to when I'm craving a good brisket fix. Highly recommend.

There was also 2 people conducting a survey and when completed, you get a coupon for a free sandwich. When we took the Longanisa breakfast sandwich out of the bag, and unraveled it from the wrapper, the sandwich was TINY! It's sooo not worth $5.49. I'm sorry. They need to just call it a slider, or a "sample" of the longanisa breakfast sandwich. If you take big bites, you can finish it in 3 bites. After a few hours, we returned to use the coupon to try the chicken & waffle sandwich. It sets you back $7.99 & it's small, but tasty. I think it should be worth $5. Hmmm, I don't think we'd come back for their breakfast sandwiches ever again.

Potato Corner in the Cerritos mall is a solid spot for fries, and I especially love the combination of cheese and spicy BBQ flavors. The fries are always served hot, and each one is generously coated with seasoning, which really makes them stand out. The service was fine, they're straight forward menu is right by the register so you can figure out what you want to order. No complaints about the seasoning or salt, keep it coming! It's a tasty snack, especially when you're walking around the mall. I'll definitely be back! 4/5 stars. read more

Bomb.com! Was in los cerritos and happend to pass by this stall. Got curious what the fuss was all about and so I ordered the smallest size. Forget all other french fries you have tried. This is the best! The chili BBQ is just awesome. I shoud have ordered the bigger size! Will definitely visit this place again when im in cerritos!
