Lol this place is in the middle of the mall but it's pretty good. Lots of flavors and types of fries are available and they're all a nice shareable size. My friend got the curly mega garlic Parmesan fries and I thought they were very solid. Crispy and hot with a generous coating of garlic Parmesan on each fry. I went into this with high hopes but I was sadly disappointed. I got the Mega fries with cheese since it seemed like the standard, safe order. It was a bit pricey but I was wiling to try it since I'm a big fry fan. As I was waiting (which took longer than expected) there seemed to be a war going on back there because there were scattered fries every where. I felt like I was in a McDonalds playhouse tube (which already is pretty dirty on it's own) and someone thought it would be funny to bring their fries inside and leave a Hansel and Gretel trail everywhere they went. I finally got my fries and went on my way. The fries were far below par and very dulling and artificial tasting after a few. I honestly could have been eating chalk on some squishy cardboard if I didn't know any better. Later, I went to the floor above it and I can see what was going on in the kitchen. Enjoyed the Potato corner brand, unfortunately not the customer service that goes along with it. A total of 5 employees surrounding the cashwrap, failing to acknowledge the line building up. 5 minutes later, finally addressing us to let us know their computer is currently down. As we wait patiently, you have the staff joking around rather than offering samples or get our order started to compensate the time wasted. Understand it is not the customer's fault their computer isn't up to par. Finally their computer comes back to life, only to be assisted by what appears to be their lead supervisor. Not only was she rude, but I don't take too kindly to those who try to belittle their customers, especially after 10 minutes of waiting. She had asked us to repeat our order 3 times, as if she wasn't paying attention the first couple times. I mean, it's only a small food stand. Memorizing the orders isn't rocket science. None the less, we ordered the Garlic/Parm tots and BBQ/Sour Cream Fries (just an FYI, this location frowns upon mixing more than 1 flavor, although the rest of the potato corners I've visited in Socal and Philippines invite it. The supervisor gave us a hard time about it, and "supposedly" allowed it while giving us attitude about it.) Flavor was skimp compared to others. Thoroughly surprised! I don't know if it is the WORLD'S BEST fries but it was pretty darn close. My three initial worries: (1) Too oily (2) Overly salted/flavored (3) Soggy or mushy. None of those issues were present. My regular fries with garlic parmesan were consistently cooked, crunchy and not oily at all. They stuck all the fries in a magical machine and out came perfectly cooked fries. WHAT IS THE SECRET BEHIND THE MAGICAL METAL BOX? Anyways, the flavoring was pretty darn good too. It wasn't salty at all, or MSG-y tasting, it was pretty natural. I'm stoked to try their other kinds of fries and flavors again. Wait was beyond long. I probably waited for 20-30 minutes for my ONE order of fries. The counters were messy, and the nearby floors were littered with soiled napkins, which is expected considering it was the weekend and it was near children's stores. This is my first ever review, but I couldn't help but take the time to type this out because Juan is the best!! He noticed that my girlfriend had to come up twice to see if our combo order was ready and gave her a coupon to use for next time and even offered to give us a combo order on the house the next time we drop by. I expected some great tots and fries from a kiosk that only sells potato and it exceeded expectations. I ordered a GIGA size of chili bbq/garlic parmesan tots and a JUMBO size of curly fries. I almost ate the entire giga in one sitting. I was sweating potato! I loved the chili bbq tots, sweet tangy flavor with a kick of heat. So delicious. The garlic parmesan was also really good, but not as good as the chili bbq. They also have some interesting flavor like sour cream and onion, chili cheese tots, or cheddar tots, plus baked potatos for anyone looking for something healthier. They even have home-made chips with their assortments of flavors. The line is usually super long and its located in the downstairs section of the mall across from Build-a-Bear. Hands down the best French fries I've ever eaten Also, hands down the most expensive fries I've ever eaten (price to quantity ratio is high) I came here for the first time today and it happened to be Black Friday. The line took forever but the wait was worth it. I tried the garlic parmesan and the chili BBQ. I'm a huge salty food fan and the garlic parmesan was definitely on the salty side but my friends and I enjoyed it. The chili BBQ is sweet with a bit of Spiciness to it(hence the chili) This was my favorite flavor and apparently it's the most popular flavor there too. I forgot what the prices of the sizes were but a jumbo is about 4-5 dollars. A mega is about 5-6 dollars and a giga is 6-7 dollars. The portions will not make you full if you're really hungry. I suggest coming here mainly for dessert. Customer service was good as well. The staff was friendly. The wait for the food was probably 7-10 minutes. I didn't expect it to be quick since it was Black Friday I will be coming back very soon. read more

When I went back to the PI in 2011, I ALWAYS ate Potato Corner and it was just amazing! My little cousin and I would always get some after church (I know fat right?) but worth it haha. When I went back to the U.S., I was pretty sad that the only Potato Corner was in San Bruno.. So far from where I live :( I probably ate at the San Bruno Potato Corner one time. Then recently my mom had mentioned there is a Potato Corner in Valley Fair! THANK GOD. :) My boyfriend tried it for the first time and we only got the medium size cause he wasn't sure about it, but how can you go wrong with cheese fries? Haha. Meh. My regular Tater tots had this weird burned cinnamon toast taste, almost like they were sprinkled with cinnamon sugar before frying. And my tater tots were undercooked. They fry in these computerized bats that don't send smoke and oil into the mall. They need to monitor or calibrate the machines to cook at the correct temperature or enough time to bring out the tater tot crunch. read more

It is a small booth in a huge mall but it has some great flavors, who doesn't love potatoes? They have all kind of fries from straight cut to curly and waffles. They all are great and you can dip them in the sauce of your choice. I had chili tater tots with ketchup and the flavor was amazing, I am planning to try their barbecue sauce next. The portions are great as well. With amazing taste, reasonable prices and a lot of variety, it's definitely a great place to have a bit of a snack.
