They call this curly fries?
Brenda C.

I don't know why so many people are raving about this place. Friends? Family? Paid? They do one thing, fries. And they can't even use fresh. Its all frozen. Someone on here was going on about the line ups? I've passed this place alot and it's always empty. I should have taken the hint. I ordered the curly fries. Does this look like curly fries? Looks like I got the bottom of the bag with all the broken tiny bits. And the cheese powder left a bitter after taste. I ate a few and tossed them. Not even worth going back to complain.

Was suuuuuper homesick and came across this!!! My holy grail to happiness! Potato corner was my go-to when I was sad, happy or even going through all the stress from school. My 2nd home felt like home at this moment and I felt complete. Got my go-to loopy cheese fries in Giga!!! Ahh could have gotten sour cream or barbecue but knew that nothing could compare to the one in the Philippines. This was a small piece of my childhood back.

Fries are freshly fried, good amount of flavours to pick from. The service is nice of the staff is nice but a bit slow. It is in the food court so ita bit busy. They have a few types for fries cut of fries to pick from. Good grab and go

My first time trying this place out, I remembered when they first opened they seemed very busy and hyped up. Now it has quieted down and quite easy to order. If you are craving some curly fries, this is the right place for you! Although they call them loopys. We got the giga tub of fries for $10.99 and it was honestly quite a bit! That's all we ate for our picnic between two people so it wasn't bad! We were deciding between a tera which is $2 more but now that I've eaten the giga size I feel like Tera size can feed a family! I feel like they don't have a huge variety for flavours, which is unfortunate because I don't really like cheese or sour cream and onion flavour so I was left with chili barbecue which was pretty spicy after a few fries you definitely need something to drink with that. I would like to try just barbecue but they don't seem to have that. So disappointing that they lack in the flavour department, I feel like they need to add more flavours then I would come back.

They even make their own sauces that are bottled and you can bring home. They seemed to be set up for take out and catering. But they do have seating for about 20-25 people. We ordered: BBQ Pork Combo meal $10.50 Chicken Inasal Combo meal $10.50 both with Garlic - Annatto Rice +$.75 each and we added pork spring rolls $4 The combo meals are tasty and filling. With a slight char on the BBQ pork which is what I enjoy when having skewers. Honestly the garlic- annato rice wasn't really worth it. I personally couldn't taste it over the sauce on either the BBQ pork or the chicken Inasal. And would have been happy with just regular rice. The lumpiang was meaty and everything I look for in a crispy spring roll. The dessert options area also great. Not sure if its seasonal but they had a slice of coconut (buko) pie in their fridge. Whole buko pie need to be per-ordered and picked up on the weekend. They also have leche flan and ube cheesecake for a sweet treat. Over all a great comforting small business with friendly staff and a meal under $12. How can you go wrong? Give Hapag Ihaw-Ihaw a try if you're in the area.

That means in order to get anything, you must wave down the waiter. The food is also very mediocre in terms taste. To make matters worse, the quantity of food is not filling either. Finally, many of their entrees do not come with rice. Therefore, they nickel and dime you from the individual orders of rice that you have to make to go along with the entrees. Only street parking is available for this establishment so be prepared to circuit around the neighborhood several times before finding a spot.

If you are wondering where to go for a traditional Filipino boodle fight for just a group of four…read morepeople this is your place. It's hard to find places that offer this for only four people. Normally you need a lot more so this is an excellent little gem of a location to know. The service was really excellent, and you could tell it is family run. You can see also some personal memorabilia and collections in the bathroom, which really gives the traditional province feel of the Philippines. Philippines is a vast country with over 100,000 islands and this place gives me a feel of the province. The service was really good and the ambiance is nice. Though I would have life to see a few more things even like plants are photos in the main dining hall. Something to be aware of and it is a common problem for most places in Vancouver. Parking can be a real challenge so read the signs very carefully.

Kulinarya was my second experience with Filipino restaurant in Vancouver, being highly recommended…read moreby several people. Overall, really positive experience with regard to taste, portion sizes, and prices. Dishes are definitely meant to be eaten with rich and shared with the table as they can be rich on their own. Service is a bit slow due how busy the place was (we came on weekend) and ambiance can be loud as people came in big groups. Spring Rolls ($14) Pork and vegetables based mini spring rolls. I'd say this is decent appetizer, but just so-so compared to the rest of the dishes Kare-kare ($25) Beef stew with peanut sauce, served with eggplant and bokchoy. They also give you shrimp paste on the side, which really helped to cut through the richness of the peanut sauce. Really good dish especially the the eggplant, but I find the beef had too much fat to meat ratio Crispy Pata ($24) I feel like this is the Filipino take on German pork knuckle dish. Always a fan of crunchy skin, and paired well with the soy based dipping sauce and pickled salad (serving similar purpose like sauerkraut) Halo-halo ($10) The only other halo-halo I've tried was served in a bowl, whereas this one is slightly tricky to share since it's in a glass. It's always interesting to see how SEA countries have similar dessert concept to one another, however the ube really made it quite different.

New Filipino gig in lower mainland, small place approximately houses 15 heads the whole eatery…read more Mostly Filipino customers lining up. I went here with a friend to try, well not bad actually, the carrying product is Lechong Cebu,a rosted pork. There are only few dishes in the menu, the server claimed they are coming soon. they also do catering service thats what the waitor told us. we wish to have a bulalo its a beef soup but sold out that day, so since we were already here and our cravings for this day is Filipino cuisine we ordered other availble dishes. First one is the pork sisig, it was good,we both dont eat liver so we asked the server to exclude it.oh how i missed home(Philippines) on first bite of the sisig,it was delish, the flavor of the spices, the lemon and the egg while it was smoking hot on a sizzling plate, very good. we ordered appetizer includes 2 Pork bbq, 2 feep fried spring rolls(lumpiang shanghai),and 3 pcs of chicken wings well i would say they were ordinary taste,we also got the beef caldereta,hmmmmm....another ordinary taste.plus we had the garlic rice and hot water with lemon. I am not sure if the dishes were pre-cooked. We havent try the carrying dish which is the lechon Cebu, for sure if we will come back thats the one we will going to order. Very small place, crews are bi-lingual and very friendly, you know friendliness is one of the best trait of Filipinos. They also sell some chicken skin chicharon and ube pandesal. Pricing is just okay, you pay for what you wil get. Theres no TV, but theres music playing while we were there.Wash room is available.(Needs a lot of make over and improvement with the interior design.) If am not mistaken this place is a bubble tea gig before,As per friends news it was sold. Wifi now is all over the city so i dont think that would be an issue. Parking is metered one unless you wish to park in some residential area and you will just do some waking...sometimes serious walking because it can be far. Most clients that day came for pick up orders..a lot of them so i feel that this place has a huge potential to bloom. Noise level is average and nothing i can say on the interior design because theres nothing at all, like i said it"s pretty new place. Good for small group and kids friendly. Im wishing the owner the best of luck...i hope they should incorporate more Filipino dishes in their menu. Accept credit and debit card and cash as well
