Located inside of the Westfield Culver City mall, Potato Corner (new name: potato stop) is right next to Target and has lots of different flavored fries and chicken tenders. Plenty of free parking in this malls parking lot at least on weekdays. The small pop up was clean with a few seats and tables around but I figure most folks are chomping on these fries while shopping. For the price, $8 imo is quite high for fries but it did come with a good amount and generously coated with spicy bbq powder. It definitely tasted like msg was in there which made it sweet, salty, and addicting (also extremely thirsty). Service was excellent and quick. They even threw in a complimentary drink :-). Hopefully they can do a NKD version of the bbq spice seasoning without food coloring additives in the future! read more

For you Potato Corner enthusiasts out there, I'll let you in on a secret. This place is one of the last few (if not the only) remaining Potato Corners that carries the original Chili BBQ seasoning. If you know, you know. Don't go to the Glendale location anymore. They use a new seasoning that looks and tastes different. It just tastes like spicy MSG. read more

pretty good spot for a snack, we got the chili barbecue fries and it was honestly kind of spicy for me and a bit too salty. However, the customer service was really nice and they gave me a sample before. I actually got it. But the buildup spice kind of got to me at the end. read more

PARKING: This location is located inside a mall, and a very busy one at that, so be wary if you're coming on a weekend! SEATING: There's a handful of tables and benches around but you gotta be quick! They fill up pretty fast! But if not, venture down to the food court down the way. SERVICE: They were super nice taking my order. Getting my food took awhile (about 20 minutes) even though it was two people in front of me. FOOD: The fries came out piping hot! I got the small size called the MEGA with the BBQ seasoning. I was able to share with my partner and we were full pretty full. I love love love these fries, but the seasoning did taste different. Maybe that's just a me problem. Potato corner is such a delight! Hands down the best fries I have ever tried. The BBQ seasoning is rich, flavorful, and leaves you wanting more. My friends and I shared a small (Mega) and devoured the tub in 5 minutes, wishing we had bought more. Definitely a great snack! One thing that I will say brought down the experience a tad was how slow the fries came out, but overall it was great! read more

ohmygosh i haven't had potato corner in YEARS! this place had minimal wait, free parking, and was prettt affordable for how much food they give you. i got the chili bbq and my friend got the garlic parmesan (chili bbq is for sure the way to go) they also played early 2010s music at the mall while i was here so it definitely felt like i traveled back in time! so happy i found a potato corner nearby read more

My kids love Potato Corner! They had recently changed management which we are glad to see. The previous staff were very slow. There are only 2 staff at this new management so they're a little slow too but I think if they added more staff to help, it would definitely improve. Check to make sure your order is accurate. The first time my kids went, they asked for ranch and they didn't get ranch. But we did return on Sunday, 12/9/24 and our orders were accurate so that was a plus. So I ordered chili bbq and they gave me my food with some red seasoning that I know for a fact wasn't chili bbq. I didn't even taste like chili bbq idk what I was but it was discussing and I wasn't my money. When I asked them about it they told me it's the same seasoning they always use when in fact it wasn't. Can you say spud-tacular? I always make a beeline straight to Potato Corner whenever I am at Westfield Culver City (right by Target and Cha Time). Having tried every PC in all the Southern California malls, I can confidently say that this team differentiates themselves in consistency. potato corner it's self is great, this location is ok. you'd be lucky if you don't wait a long time and when I went recently the manager I believe had his hand in his pants and lifted his shirt and his pants weren't even buttoned. Had to make sure another worker WITH gloves handled my order because that was kind of gross to see right before getting food. he probably didn't realize anyone saw but he probably shouldn't be doing that read more

Just stopped by at this location today as I love Potato Corner as a chain, however the new owners/management at this location are not the best. I ordered Giga Cheddar/Sour Cream and Onion fries and when they came out, it was Chilli BBQ/Sour Cream and Onion. I politely requested a remake and the male worker(Indian) refused. He insisted I said Chilli when I never order that flavor. It's unprofessional to go back and fourth with customers and refuse to make things right. I was issued a refund and will likely not return to this location with these workers/owners. There's never any other employees here so you can't mistake them-- with the many other complaints. read more

My 8-year-old asked to try this place, so we got him a combo with fries and lightly seasoned tenders. After one bite, he said the tenders were too heavily seasoned for his taste. I let the manager know it was our first time there and politely explained that the seasoning was too much for my son. I asked if they could remake the order, and the manager agreed, telling me to go have a seat. When the new order came out, it was obvious they had simply refried the same tenders in an attempt to burn off the seasoning. Even worse, they didn't bother removing the tender my son had already bitten into. I was completely disgusted--this felt unsanitary and careless. I honestly don't think the health department would approve of this kind of food handling. read more

Not sure why it says temporarily closed on Yelp. The Potato Corner in Westfield Culver City was open when we went on 05.02.2023. Service was good. Mega Size Jojo Chips ($7.95): We mixed the sour cream & onion and garlic & parmesan flavors which was really good. They put the perfect amount and coated all the chips. Fries do not cost much and if I'm going to pay $7.50 for fries it better be pretty amazing. People are paying for the uniqueness of their food that no other place has. If they're going to charge that much don't be cheap on the seasoning. I barely tasted any. Pringles has more sour cream and onion flavor on their chips than this place. I can make my own fries at home and buy my own flavoring to add on top so why do I need to go here? I simply asked for a side of a bit more flavor because it was lacking and she refused and told me I need to pay more. Poor service. Just lost a customer and not returning. read more

It appears that this place may be under new management and severely understaffed since then. I've been coming here for years and they would have your order, which is only one order of fries, ready in about 10 minutes before the new management took over. After new management, 10 minute order now takes about 25 minutes & this new wait time is only with three customers ahead of me. Customer suggestion: please speed up the orders. read more

They made my order wrong but didn't have a fuss about it. But they definitely didn't advise that they had made an error on my order for the flavor I chose. Being a chain, Potato Corner usually doesn't disappoint. The curly fries with seasoning is always good and the service at this location was pretty solid. I even bumped into the worker at the Target after his shift ended and he remembered my name/order. This spot does the trick for any fries cravings. read more

Service is meh and the food takes a while to prepare. I've been to other locations (NorCal and SoCal) and experienced way better service. Though the order prep time seems to be consistent - slow. They seem to cook fresh batches of fries, tater tots, etc. per order - so that's probably why. Generally, I'm lenient on the service as long as they get the job done - and this store does it. When they say Jumbo, they really mean it! They don't skimp on the serving portions whatsoever! I love potato corner, i always go to this location because this is the nearest potato corner in area. I dont have any problems with the previous visit. This is the first time i am disappointed of my order. I got mega fries combo, i was not satisfied with the serving, i am a repeat customer so i know if the serving is good or fair. I ask them to put more fries on it and the boy just put a fries(not seasoned) in my order then pu a cheese powder. Thats it! And that make me so disappointed. He did'nt even make new one for me. read more

I came here a few days ago with my family since we were in the area. I wasn't expecting much as service here is usually trash. However, the two gentleman who helped we're fantastic! I came for a simple original fry with some barbeque seasoning. I honestly wasn't expecting to receive the service I was given. The cashier said his name was Edward and his Co worker Darius did a fantastic job at giving us excellent service. Not only was the cashier invested in conversation with us, he was very polite. He offered us samples of different flavors and was very knowledgeable of the products. Darius was also very hard at work ensuring our food was made fresh and given to to us in a sensible amount of time which NEVER happens! Overall my family's experience here was amazing. We even ordered an additional two giga size loopy fries and some wings. Edward even managed to help us save a few dollars by giving us some combos. This store is definitely getting alot better. This is absolutely my favorite location. I came here two weeks ago and had some problematic issues with this location before but, the young man with blue hair at the register was so helpful and knowledgeable! He was very friendly from the start and answered all of my ridiculous questions with a smile and shared a few laughs. The food was delicious!!! I definitely loved the Sour cream and Onion loopy fries! I've definitely become a regular and I'm always excited when I see this young man. He's such a breath of fresh air for this location. I had a major craving, so I decided to treat myself to two giga size cheddar fries from Potato Corner in Culver City. They handed me this paper bag, and I thought, "Alright, let's get home and dig in!" But guess what? When I got home and opened that bag, it was like they pulled a sneaky switcheroo. Here to leave a review about the girl giving samples on Thursday the 14th of June at around noon. She is so vibrant and enthusiastic about her work. She is giving samples out like crazy and giving them a side of smiles. She has braces and a long brown pony tail.
