Cuban Bagel and Lucky Charms Latte

The Cuban bagel was perfect for my morning pick-me-up! The barista was nice and gave good recommendations on what to order since I haven't been here in years. Service was fast and my latte was very tasty (Lucky Charms)

Frosted mint mocha for St. Patrick's Day

Met up with two friends and brought along two babies in strollers and we comfortably sat inside and enjoyed some coffee and food. They have seasonal drink specials like this frosted mint mocha for St Patrick's Day which I appreciate! The baristas were very friendly and overall was a nice place! I really wanted to try the coffee flight but it was like $22 a pop and that is just way too much to be spending on my coffee for the day... but I hear it's a large serving so maybe would have been good to split with someone.

Had a great lunch. Got the avocado toast with bacon and tomato added, it was spot on! I really like the vibe of this place too. Definitely a place I would bring my toddler as a busy mom trying to grab a cup of coffee; they had a chalkboard and little kid games in the back too.

We decided to check out Pourfavor on Valentine's day weekend. The atmosphere is welcoming and calm. There's board games, a handful of children's toys, and a variety of seating (small tables, long tables, bar stools, and couches). The menu has a decent selection of drinks & food. The only thing missing on the menu are prices... which left me a little sticker shocked when I completed my order. It was fun to try the Cupid seasonal coffee flight, however, it was 4x the cost of a regular drink (for smaller portions of 4 drinks). My partner got a butterscotch macchiato and enjoyed it. We also chose to get breakfast burritos and enjoyed the salsa that came with them. We would return for coffee and food, but we'll skip the flight.

Very nice and lax atmosphere. The decor is cool and modern. The service is spot on. They also have nice specialty pastries I ordered the tiramisu and a mocha. The tiramisu was delicious, but they could have filled the top of the cup a little more. Will come back if in the area.

Pourfavor is a lovely little shop. They offer a wide variety of desserts, small bites and coffee. It isnt the quietest but still manageable to the point that you can sit and work. I had a Cuban Sandwich and wasn't pleased. It lacked authenticity, missing the pickles (c'mon) and the pork was so juicy the bread was soggy. I ordered a Cortado, sweeter and it was delivered without sugar. After adding my own, I enjoyed it very much. It's reasonably priced compared to other local coffee shops in the area. I'll be back to give them a second try. The host was super sweet :)

This is such a cute coffee shop! They always have unique seasonal drinks, and this week's lineup was football themed. Each drink had its own distinct flavor and they were all delicious. The shop also had a really nice vibe with great music playing, which made the experience even better. A fun and creative spot for coffee lovers!

Absolutely loved visiting my first local coffee shop here in Virginia Beach! It was the cutest little spot, and I couldn't resist trying their coffee flight featuring a Girl Scout cookie theme. My favorite had to be the Samoa-inspired one -- so sweet, rich, and cozy!

It was my first time at this cute little coffee shop! My husband kept raving about their kitchen sink cookie, but unfortunately they no longer make them. Instead, we tried a scone... delicious! and chicken pesto with avocado panini.. also very yummy! We also enjoyed an iced caramel machiato and iced mocha on their comfy couch. Everything was great!

I love going out for coffee and Pourfavor has been on my list of coffee shops to try for a while. Since I was in the area, I definitely had to stop in. I absolutely loved how cozy this shop was. The beautiful art on the walls and the string lights really made it stand out. The shop looks smaller from the outside but I was shocked to notice all the seating all throughout the place. We were quickly greeted when we walked in and I was blown away with the large array of pastries and baked goods. Everything looked amazing! We decided on the Quesito which was a sweet puff pastry filled with cream cheese and drizzled with caramel and the Spinach and Ricotta Croissant. We then ordered our coffee drinks and sat in the chairs to wait for our items. The Mocha Frappuccino was absolutely delicious! The chocolate drizzled all throughout the drink really set it off. The Caramel Latte was pretty good as well but I'm sure it would have been better with an oat or almond milk versus the regular 2% milk that I chose. The pastries were served warm and tasted good. I really enjoyed the Quesito. Overall, I can't wait to return to try their other amazing pastries! The coffee was great and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

An iced salted carmel latte & an iced vanilla chai latte is what we ordered while visiting this coffee shop. I must confess that I was disappointed with the drinks. The iced chai was warm with a few ice cubes in it. I wish it was cold. And I've had carmel lattes with stronger espresso taste, which I favor. I could not really perceive the espresso in my drink. I basically tasted milk and a hint of salted caramel syrup. While service was average, the shop was welcoming with its urban feel and awesome art. I loved the hanging string lights and seating areas. A variety of baked goods, sandwiches, coffee flights, etc. are available. As for my lattes, I think I'll try another spot.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! If it's not the coffee flights, it's the incredible atmosphere and decor Pourfavor boasts. I came here because I was told one of the owners is a) a veteran, b) Puertorriqueña, and c) that the coffee here is amazing -- confirmed. The coffee was great. I ordered a cortado and was not disappointed. I also purchased some ground coffee as a gift for someone (who is obsessed with Frida Kahlo, and said they enjoyed the blend.) Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. A 4.5 rounded up for the bright, energetic vibes the place itself exudes, and for the fair prices. Wish I lived closer, or maybe it's a good thing I don't or I'd practically live in here. Highly recommend.

This was my first visit, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The location is decent, and the cake selection is good. I found the coffee options a bit overwhelming, but I decided on a matcha drink and a tiramisu. The tiramisu was okay but nothing special, while I really enjoyed the matcha drink.

So we wandered over to Pinup Coffee at Back Bay Farmhouse Brewery, and we're glad we did. I ordered the Salty Texan, a delicious take on the classic caramel macchiato. It was smooth, well-balanced, and just the right combination of sweet and salty. I would definitely order it again. The seating was comfortable, the atmosphere was relaxed, and it turned out to be much more than just a stop for coffee. We struck up a conversation with a wonderful mother and daughter visiting from Wisconsin. During our chat, the daughter shared that she was getting married later today. It was one of those unexpected moments that reminds you how enjoyable simple conversations with complete strangers can be. Great coffee, outstanding doughnuts, comfortable surroundings, and memorable conversation--it made for a wonderful morning. If you're visiting Back Bay Farmhouse Brewery, Pinup Coffee is well worth a stop.

I love their options of drinks an biscuits, I've especially been craving their bacon and cheddar biscuit since I've last had it, and it's nice to go to a cafe that dos things a little differently than the standard! One thing I also adore about this location is how they will host small markets on the lawn outside the house! One time me and my friend finished chatting and having coffee and we unknowingly walked outside to see a bunch of vendors that weren't there before! It was so fun to walk around and speak with everyone, they were all so sweet and I ended up buying multiple things unplanned! I will say it can be a tight squeeze between the doorway and the counter when ordering as the hallway is small and the line can grow rapidly. But if it's not cold outside or busy there then it's not really an issue at all! I'm sad that they aren't open past 1-2PM most days, but that's understandable given the business they run and thier location! Overall, I couldn't recommend tho place more for anyone wanting a new study spot or place to try out in general in VB!

Knowing it's veteran-owned makes me even happier to support them. The ice cream is consistently creamy without being overly sweet, which is harder to find than you'd think. Every flavor we've tried has been fantastic, and the staff is always genuinely kind and welcoming. The prices are reasonable, too, which makes it easy to stop by whenever the craving hits. My wife is always getting an "ice cream itch," so she'll randomly decide to "go check out the flavors" and somehow always comes home with ice cream for both of us. I'm certainly not complaining. My go-to order is the ube ice cream mixed with cookie dough, and yes, as a grown man,I still get rainbow sprinkles every single time. No shame. If you're in the Kempsville area and looking for a local business worth supporting, Sundae Scoop is absolutely worth the visit. We'll definitely be back!

I was impressed by the number of different flavors that they had available and they all sound delicious!! I ended up getting a Salted Caramel Butter pecan scoop in a waffle cone and my girlfriend got the banana pudding in a cup. Both were smooth and creamy and not overly sweet. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other flavors. Our total was about 12 dollars. The place was nice and clean with several places to sit and the young ladies that were working were kind and polite! Make sure you try it out and let me know your fave flavor!!
