Based on some of the photos I've seen of other Hello Kitty Cafes, this is probably one of the smallest and most bare bones one. No indoor seating. You order from a counter and there are a couple of tables out front. The good thing is that several of the tables had umbrellas attached that provided shade. The menu was very limited. Nothing stood out to me so I decided just to get the Strawberry Lemonade that had a hint of mint to it. It was actually quite refreshing on a hot day. The drink was pretty sweet but that is how I like my lemonades so no complaint there. The price was on par with the fact that it is a Hello Kitty branded cafe at a tourist location. All in all, the drink was decent but I wouldn't go out of my way to stop there. But at least my Hello Kitty loving friends got some photos and a kick out of me hanging out there.

After ordering our meal, we walked into the dining area. The whole space was imitating the world of Toadstool. It was really cool to see. But we had to wait around 20 minutes to get our food. Once the food came, they actually looked so cute. There was a Mario mustache on the burger. Princes peach cake had a crown. The burger, corn and broccoli were decent. The cake was very sweet. They were expensive as expected. Overall it is a good dining option, better than some of the other ones in the area. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I had to partake in the "Central Perk" rite of passage, so I ordered the chocolate ice-blend drink (~$8 after tax), which is a pretty steep price for a drink that's essentially chocolate milk. For some reason, my order got lost in their system, so I was waiting and waiting for my name to be called. After approaching the counter and asking, they made it right away. They don't serve the drinks in the signature large coffee cups (but the cups are available at the gift shop), so I'd say you can skip the overpriced coffee and go straight for the photo ops (which are free/included in the price of admission).
