Cinnamon poached pear salad and pork belly special

Incredible food and wonderful staff!! We enjoyed the Spanish garlic butter shrimp, Cinnamon poached pear salad, pork belly entree special and the strawberry Neapolitan for dessert - everything was excellent. We will definitely be back!

This farm to table restaurant surprised us in a good way. We tried a sampling of their apps and loved them all. The kitchen is open so you can see them making the food. This is a must try, we will be back!

Pros: ~ Unique & flavorful menu. ~ Great conscientiousness regarding GF & Celiacs! ~ Woman owned business ... who also chefs!! ~ very nice ambiance. I truly will be back to try bacon wrapped watermelon rinds! I tried the Short Rib Fundido and it was superb. Cons: it is too far from my house to visit frequently. I was in Germantown for an hour and searched the nearby fare for lunch. Precinct won.

We are BLOWN AWAY by the amazing farm-to-table dining experience we just enjoyed at Precinct! We sat in a cozy booth overlooking the kitchen and shared the rib eye and the beer-battered whitefish -- both were sheer perfection. Amanda "Phoebe" and Talia (first day on the job -- she killed it!) took exceptional care of us and Chef Jodi, Angie, Lucas and Chris all came to our table to say hello. So on top of the mouthwatering dishes we felt like royalty. Well done, Precinct. You are a stand-out restaurant for both your amazing food and top-class service. We will be back and next time we're bringing our friends!

Soooo good! The creativity in presentation We went there as a family of 5 , the first time may 10 All the entrees were amazing and beautifully presented The appetizers were fantastic, I shared (reluctantly) my crab cakes They were tender and not full of "filler" like many One of the I've had besides in New Orleans The creme brûlée was THE best I've ever had The depth of flavor after a spoonful remained No complaints here...impressed with everything And I'm picky picky Our server, Amanda, was friendly and attentive and answered our questions, and made suggestions We definitely will be back

We went for lunch, but the menu was actually their all day menu. They are farm to table and the menu changes often depending upon availability anyway. I had crabcakes. This was probably a mistake because I don't know if there are any winter crab farms in Wisconsin... I cannot diss the flavor. However, I couldn't really eat them with a fork. There was nothing cakey about them. It was more like a crab puddle. OK. The staff was wonderful and so was the dessert. So... They are pricey, but close to my house. Maybe I'll take a trip back in the summer.

Garlic & Herb marinated Ribeye....the one that my husband says should be put up against Bobby Flay!

My husband is skeptical of farm to table restaurants but after he took one bite of his steak he said 'this should be on Beat Bobby Flay'. Our food was beautifully plated, tender and delicious. Our server was very knowledgeable of the nightly feature and menu. The best part was the reaction to us showing our thanks for an amazing meal with a 'kitchen round'. Check out their website for details on the kitchen round!

    Beer Battered White Fish

Wow! Absolutely unbelievably great taste and display of food dishes! It's a Friday during lent, but don't worry this joint comes in top of the line with their fish fry! Not your normal fish fry because you ain't getting chips or French fries, but you're getting this incredible slaw with fried carrots on top of a beer battered white fish. I cannot express how delicious and yummy this dish is. Just look at the picture!!! Oh yeah btw we got the best fried green tomatoes I've ever had, hands down and some killa desserts! The desserts were a vanilla bean cheese cake and fruity pebble cheesecake. Hot damn! This place was sooo good we can't wait to go back and bring our friends and family each time.

First time here tonight but it definitely will not be my last. Service was amazing first and foremost. Two old fashions were spot on. Bring on the food! Started out with homemade lemon mascarpone gnocchi with prosciutto. OMG! This alone would have been good enough as the entree. But then we split their farmhouse bread loaf special. I think this should just be a staple that comes when you sit down. I got one of the specials. Blackened mahi mahi with toasted coconut rice. It was ridiculous. My wife got Thai basil garlic shrimp with black rice. She didn't like it but I did. Overall, the entire menu sounded amazing and I can't wait to go back.

Casey and Mark were behind the bar and very personable and easy to talk to, but they were also the only two there so when the crowds came in they got really busy. I was craving a burger so I ordered the Hashbrown Burger and on Casey's recommendation had an egg added to it. I upgraded to fries from the normal side of chips. Fries (for me) were well seasoned and plentiful. The burger was juicy and also well seasoned but the egg was a touch overcooked. The burger on it's own works very well, the addition of the egg was a nice touch but the egg wasn't seasoned and it was slightly noticeable. I would definitely order the burger again, but I may pass on the egg. The bar is fully stocked and being a fan of whiskey, felt they have a nice selection. They have a few beers on tap and it was nice to see some local craft breweries on there. In the summer they have a back deck and bar area with a stage. I will add them to my lunch rotation for when I am craving a good burger.

Her priority seemed to be the regulars at sitting at the bar. Once we finally got our beers and wanted to place a order for food we had to wait again so the server could take care of people at the bar first. Once we finally place our order it took 30 minutes to get our food. The burger we ordered was over cooked .The server never came back to check on us or how our food was she was to busy with the regulars at the bar. We had to go to the bar to get our check because she was to busy having shots with customers. On the way to get our check she stopped to serve someone sitting at the bar. She did the same thing bringing our check to us. We also saw this with another group of people who had to get up and ask for their check twice. Very disappointed in this place and will not return.

Came here for dinner and unfortunately left pretty underwhelmed overall…read more The restaurant itself was clean, and service initially started off fine. When we first arrived, the restaurant was not busy. Only a couple other tables occupied, so expectations were fairly high for a smooth experience. Unfortunately, things quickly went downhill. The food took quite a while to come out despite how slow it was. When it finally did, it was first delivered to the wrong table before eventually making its way to us. The food runner then randomly grabbed a ranch from our table and brought it to another table. He seemed potentially new, but overall the service felt very disorganized and clueless, especially considering the restaurant wasn't busy. We ordered the cheese curds to start, and they were disappointing. The breading was mushy and extremely greasy, and the cheese itself tasted low quality rather than the fresh curds you'd expect at a Wisconsin pub. We also ordered several wing flavors since they were on special: garlic parm, buffalo, bourbon BBQ, and lemon pepper. One issue right away was the lack of flavor variety overall on the menu. The wings themselves were inconsistent. Sizes varied dramatically, which clearly affected the cook quality. Some were fried so hard they were like chewing leather, while others had soggy, undercooked skin. Flavor wise the buffalo were almost completely flavorless. The lemon pepper was extremely mild. The garlic parm was probably the best of the group, though still just average. The bourbon BBQ was rough. The sauce tasted like an overly sweet, overly salty cheap jarred glaze rather than an actual house-made BBQ sauce. My wife ordered the Mary Mac burger without a bun and was told extra lettuce leaves could be substituted to make it a lettuce wrap. Instead, it came out with just shredded lettuce. The burger itself was overcooked and lacking flavor. The fries were decent enough, but nothing memorable. Overall, this felt like a place with potential that just missed the mark on both execution and consistency during our visit.

Signage outside indicated that they have fish fry on Wednesday night so that was a plus for me. He had a water street melt with chips and fried cheese sticks. He asked for his burger to be cooked medium. The menu indicated his burger had onion spread on it. His burger was not cooked medium but well done. The onion spread was a "sauce overload" and not a pleasant addition to the melt. The cheese sticks were wrapped in a won ton wrap and deep fried. They were served with a marinara. The cheese sticks could have used some type of seasoning to give them flavor. Very bland. I had the fish fry special of fried perch. Mild fishy flavor and definitely frozen. Thin crumb breading that had some type of seasoning. I choose fries, coleslaw, and rye toast. The fries and toast were the best parts. I wanted tartar sauce for my fish but it was so sweet that it wasn't good with the fish. Service was fine. She needed to leave before us and asked if we wanted to close our ticket. We didn't plan on staying as we're traveling so we closed it out. Location was easy to find. Bar area was clean.

On one of our visits the guy behind the bar was so loud and basically stood back there and drank lite the whole time. Then a local (I'm assuming) said something to the bartender and he shouted back "F**k you old man"! I asked someone at the bar does the owner know that his employee uses that kind of language? Much to my surprise he told me that the bartender is the owner! Are you kidding me? If you are visiting from out of town or new to town there are a lot better places to go that they don't use that kind of language. Not that I'm a prude or anything because I've used that language...I guess it's more shocking to hear it when you have people in your bar you've never seen. I was going to give it one star but decided I'd give it two because we just moved here and some friends of mine were in town and I thought I'd give them a second chance. We were met by a very nice bartender named Cassie. She was attentive and probably knew as an EMPLOYEE not to talk that way. Anytime someone came in she greeted them. The kicker here? The "owner" was sitting on the other side of the bar playing dice and still using that language and of course drinking miller lite. We'll go when she is working and/or their daytime bartender Ray. He knows a lot about sports and had a great conversation with my husband.

Food: We got the Bacon Cheeseburger, Junior Cheeseburger, and a side combo of fries and onion rings. They make the burgers to order, so they took a while, but they were fresh and hot when they arrived. The patty was cooked to about medium, which was okay, but for a smashburger, it would have been better to leave it on the grill a bit longer to develop those nice crispy, lacy edges. The additional lettuce, tomato, and onion were generously portioned and fresh. Service: The staff was super friendly. The person who took our order was cheerful, helpful, and professional. Atmosphere: When first driving into the lot, what you notice is a very uncared-for, weedy front patio area. It's not very inviting, and nobody was sitting there. The parking lot pavement could use some refreshing as well. Overall, the exterior is a bit depressing. Inside, however, the restaurant is well lit, clean, and has a friendly atmosphere.
