I was privileged enough to do business with George (Gofnung); but I should note, everyone I spoke to during my experience was incredibly professional and helpful. I work Monday - Friday and dropping off my X3 wasn't convenient for me during the week; George went to the extent of meeting me there on a Saturday morning (7-23-16). He explained thoroughly the process and how some insurances take longer to go to the body shop than others. I was in no rush to get my vehicle because I wanted them to take their time and do the best job possible, and they completely delivered. They sent regular emails keeping me updated on the progress of my vehicle. My vehicle was ready in 3 weeks and I am completely satisfied with it, it looks brand new. I don't want to forget to let you know that when I picked up my vehicle, it had been completely detailed, inside and out............wow, what a way to put a smile to my face, completely unexpected, but incredibly appreciated. The only bad news is it sat there for about a month before it was ever touched that's the only thing that bothers me about this but I have to admit then when I was said and done Presision did a great job you can't tell anything happen to the car and they were had to unbend repaint as factory that side panel and some other pieces so bottom line is I'm a car guy I've had many many cars vintage vehicles new hot rods motorcycles all sorts in this job was done right by professionals it took a little too long and I missed my car cause I just purchased it before this happened . The car looks great I put some racing numbers on the sides of the door panels since there's a race history for Mini Cooper looked incredible they had to redo the decals so they matched because they had to get rid of one of them on the driver side since it had to be worked on and repainted and how it turned out great it looks great it looks fresh and they clean the heck out of that car when I picked it up it looked like it had been detailed so good job thanks a lot Rae and the lady upfront have great customer service much appreciate it thank you so much GARY read more

Saying that I am completely satisfied is an understatement because their work was outstanding. My vehicle was pristine, with only 8,000 miles on it. I've seen lots of this type of work, but I just could not detect anything had happened. I was emphatic and this is the best body work I've ever seen. And, I'm very hard to please. I hope they become a Porsche certified company. I've checked around, and found Mercedes and BMW were referring to Precision, as is The Auto Gallery, so there's the indication of their standard of work. I doubt if anyone in the area could come up to this level. Bill was lovely to deal with. I can usually tell if work has been done, but after sighting up and down and at all angles, I just couldn't see anything wrong, and the paint was perfect. Precision just does very beautiful work. With only 8,000 miles, this occurrence was really a heartbreak. Its' sad to see that people such as Jack B, who obviously used his internet savviness to extort money from this reputable body shop, try to defame Precision and should be ashamed of his practice of extortion. read more

I knew about Precision from other customers so we had our car taken there by our insurance after an accident took out our front bumper, sensors, front cameras, turn indicators, etc. Unfortunately a replacement bumper was not available immediately and had to be ordered from Germany but arrived much sooner than expected. When they let us know the car was ready, we were pleasantly surprised at the condition of the car. It was immaculate inside and out, everything was in perfect working order, and we drove away completely satisfied. I cannot believe the negative reviews this company has received, hard to think they are referring to the same place we dealt with! No hassles, no fuss. We were not at fault in the accident, so Precision made our mishap more bearable with their follow-up phone calls and emails. My car was getting very old and the paint were starting to peel. I didn't like how it was looking anymore and it was my only car. I was not going to go spend thousands of dollar to get a new car, because I won't be abIe to afford it. My friend told me about this one place called "Precision Auto Body." He told me they do a wonderful job in painting your car, so I thought why not, it'll definitely save me from getting a new car and not having to spend thousands of dollars. I took it in the next day, took them about a week, but when I got it back I was very satisfied with the result of the body work on my car. None better period. Not going to lie, they are Very busy. Busy because they do a fantastic job. So sometimes it takes a bit longer than you would like but the outcome is absolutely precise & pristine. Just stay in contact with either your service writer (Juan or George) or Audrey (who usually email's you a daily update) and you'll be thrilled at the outcome. Besides the repair & paint your car gets an exterior detail which most shops don't do. So in the end for me my cars come out looking even better than when I brought them in. I am unfortunately a repeat customer but fortunately I found the best paint & body shop in Los Angeles thanks to Audrey, Bill, Juan, George, there mechanics & incredible painter(s). read more

I was referred by Bob Smith BMW and I'm glad I called. The repair was done through our insurance and Precision helped us to get all new BMW replacements parts. This was really important as our car is very new 2015 528i. The work took a couple of weeks because original parts were ordered but once in they did a great job to get it done asap. The actual work was perfect. The only thing that might have made the experience a little better was the handoff. I would have liked the shop to go over the work with me at the end to see if I was happy. Instead it was kind of a pay and go situation. In any case I wanted results and I got them. I got rear-ended a month ago and I luckily decided on bringing my car to Precision Auto Body. I had a wonderful experience from day one. I drive a 2005 Merc C240 , and yes, it's an older car, but it looked brand new after they completed the job! My car was sparkling clean inside and out, they practically detailed the interior and exterior of my old car, and the staff were so professional from their front desk personnel to their agents. Everyone I came in contact with was not only courteous, but they knew they're job, communicated in a timely manner, and did exactly what they said would be done. I had a fantastic experience at Precision Auto Body! After it took the adjuster from my insurance company a week to get there to inspect, George and the entire team came together and made an exceptional effort to get my repair through as quickly and efficiently as possible. I use to like this shop, but I guess after hearing all the negative things about them, and then having to deal with the fact that they broke stuff on my car and would not own up to breaking them, I cant say anything nice about them. I would only use them again if I don't have to deal with William or he is no longer working there. Preferably the latter. They kept my car for two months, and when I went to pick it up, it was not ready. They were wanting to wax the car. Also I did notice there is some work undone as the inside leather was not put back in place properly. Exhausted to deal with them any further. read more

I could give a 5/5 for the quality of the work but I'm giving a 3 because nothing was done on my car after 4 weeks. they started working on my car when i started calling (and bugging) them. It was very hard to get hold of the person who was my contact... he was almost never available to get my call... It took almost 7 weeks (from Nov. 4 till Dec. 21) just to replace a rear bumper and some other minor stuff on my BMW X5... their work is great... my car looks as new... but 7 weeks is not reasonable for a minor repair. I went to this place because I was told by Bob Smith BMW that it was a great Auto Body Place. They probably own it. It was far from great. They said it would take 2 weeks, it was over a month I suffered driving a crappy rented car while I was paying on my lease. I finally started calling and asking when my car would be done, they keep saying next week. They must of parked it in the back and forgot about it. When I got it back it was far from perfect. It was dirty and missing parts. Never again Precision. They really need to get their act together. read more

I almost never write reviews (since I'm always short on time) but I had to take the time to express how thankful I was for George's help there. He took on my Maserati GT that was hit while parked and not only did he make it new again, but dealt with all the headaches of dealing with a less than ideal insurance company. He always kept be abreast of what was going on, he was always responsive, always very kind and helpful. Precision Auto Body is the only place i would go to have my car repaired. They perform an amazing job. They keep it professional and will not let the customer pick up the car until the car is completed with the outstanding standards. Precision does not measure to the bar because they are the bar. i would only deal with George Gofnung, he will always tell me the way it is and be upfront with my repairs. I just pick up my car from Precision Auto Body and it looks like a brand new car. My mechanic Juan did a very good job on my car. He is a very very nice person and took care everything that is needed to be done and deal with my auto insurance. Their shop is very nice , clean and the staff there are friendly. I was very pleased with the work that was done. I was not all that pleased with the amount of time it took. However, I fault State Farm as well as their adjuster had to make trips to the shop to approve additional charges. I am going to re-think the "need" to drive a nice car as they are hideously expensive to fix. I must say George was a treat to work with and although he didn't respond to my emails, he kept me alert to the progress of my car. read more
