I pulled up to this business on this rainy day because I noticed a star-certified sign for smog checks. While I was discussing my car's servicing with a man, I let him know that my usual mechanic would not be Star-certified until mid-January, so I was interested in his service. He quoted me a price of over $60, but I mentioned that I had received a quote for $50. He inquired about paying in cash, but I told him that I could only pay with my debit card. Suddenly, he became hostile towards me and handed me an invoice, instructing me to fill in my name and phone number while remaining in my car. This is by far the worst service I have ever received. Took my dead prius in for them to run a diagnoistic and told me it was my main battery and that it would cost almost 3000 to fix. I then take my car to get the battery checked and turns out my battery is FINE and my car simply didnt have gas and the fuel sending unit was failing. I go back for a refund because their initial diagnostic results were 100% wrong but they were very rude and refused to give me my money back. They told me to get out as they yelled at me out the door. I will never go back to this rip off of a business. Please dont go to this shop unless you want the classic rip off story. I swear this is the worst service I have EVER RECEIVED. useless and not trustworthy business. read more

A car turned in front of me and i had to swerve to avoid an accident but ednded up hitting the curb and i messed ip my control arm, i took my car to hanri and expected to be without a car for a week. This place is great. About a week ago I was having some car troubles. I came here because of they had a $70 to check out the problem. If you get the problem fixed here they wont charge you for the diagnosic. Unfortunetely the problems with my car were the kind of thing that I needed to take to the dealer to fix. Premier was not able to help me. On the plus side they didn't charge me for anything and over all the service was professional and quick. My mother came here to replace a starter And the service was fine, But what happened afterwards wasn't. The car didn't start and the mechanic said that the camshaft sensor was broken. I asked him to show me the sensor and it was physically broken. Never had issues starting the car until I dropped it off. When I drove off, The car was not reaching normal operating temperature and the AC did not work. I brought the car back and the mechanic said that the compressor used up all the refrigerant, Which is a lie because that's not how an AC system works. He said he was going to check it out and went to work on another vehicle until I said I'm leaving with the car. he came back with a diagnosis to replace the compressor And that hes not sure why it's not reaching Normal operating temperature. I replaced the relay for the AC compressor myself and it started engaging, but still no AC. I noticed Engine coolant On the passenger side lower control arm. I removed the thermostat housing myself and notice that my thermostat was Missing. In place of the blue Fel Pro paper gasket was gray liquid gasket. This mechanic sabotaged my car in 4 different ways. He broke my Cam shaft sensor, Removed the Refrigerant, Replaced the compressor relay with a broken one, and Removed the thermostat along with the paper gasket. Best customer service ANYWHERE! I messaged Sasha (The owner) on Yelp Friday night around 5pm - within 5 minute I had a reply saying he would help me out first thing Saturday morning. I brought my car to the garage for a quick inspection to make sure it was safe to drive back to San Francisco after hearing a knocking noise the day before. I arrived at 8:00, by 8:05 the car was jacked up and by 8:10 the car was down and I was on my way. Martin was incredibly helpful, even inspected other parts of my car and knew his stuff well. Even after telling Martin I would like to get the car fixed back in San Francisco (because I had to get back this afternoon) - he will still super helpful and gave me recommendations for repair. As a woman who has literally 0 knowledge on cars , it's hard to go to take my car to a mechanic without getting ripped off. Martin was so incredibly patient and honest. He looked at my car and instead of trying to take my money right away he told me to try calling my dealer to see if it's under warranty so get it fixed for free there rather than having to pay. He even found me the number and told me exactly what to say. Even though it turned out to be another issue that wasn't covered with my warranty, he called another person who specialized in whatever was wrong with my car to make sure I got the help/resources I needed to get it fixed. And to top it off, he didn't even charge me a single cent despite all his help and me being a first time customer. I will definitely be coming back here for any issues/oil changes. Wow! I came to Premier off the strength of Yelp and all the positive reviews. I made an early morning appointment and went today to find out what was going on with my car. At first based on a code from Pep Boys they told me I'd have to take my car (nissan sentra 2011) to the dealer to be reprogrammed and there was nothing they could do. I was really disappointed and ready to leave. BUT THEN, they did a diagnostic test on the car, figured out the problem (ended up being minor) and fixed my car!! I was there maybe 30 mins only and then out the door! The manager was extremely friendly and willing to help! I am so grateful for his time! I think I have found my new place to get my car fixed! I've been going there for many years before it changed ownership. The new owners (husband and wife) seem really nice. I've been going for for awhile (for a year now) for oil changes and such. The prices are reasonable with the only exception for tire rotations, which they charged $25 for the 5 minute it took. I was little disappointed to say the least they just added the charge without telling me. I guess it's partially my fault since I didn't ask how much they were going to charge me (Martin only charged $10 for the tire rotations). read more
