AB Plumbing was very responsive, They provided clear information about what needed to be done and performed the plumbing work efficiently and suggested that we contact an appliance company for further work on the dishwasher. After the appliance repair work was completed by an appliance company the next day, AB Plumbing returned to repair another related plumbing issue that became an issue. BEWARE! I wish I had. Super unprofessional. First time no problem they gave us a price, did the work, we paid and then they kept saying we didn't pay. I showed them proof, they asked again, it was really frustrating. I used them again THIS WAS MY BIG MISTAKE! They quoted me three hundred something to snake a drain. They charged double, said it was an emergency on a weekend, it was neither, then said it was for two calls, then said oh well that's how much it normally is. All over the place. No acknowledgement that they doubled their price for NO REASON. They are flaky and what's worse after snaking the drain they actually effed up our sink and now there's a leak and it doesn't work so I have to call ANOTHER plumber. We had some pipes that needed to be cut and re-soldered. Our home is below grade, and thus has a plump to pump everything up to the sewer line. It stopped working, which means everything was backing up into the bathtub, which means it's time to panic! (gross! lol). The guys at AB Plumbing came out, and were like "we've never seen this kind of pump before, but we'll poke at it and see what happens". They took the pump apart, piece by piece, and i even heard them call the pump manufacturer and go over details of the pump, and then, not an hour and a half later, they got it working perfectly again. My sewer pipe backed up and I called these guys because they'd hung a tag on my door that said "we were working in your area.. sorry for the inconvenience... mention this tag for 10% off your own service." Cute marketing gimmick. However, their estimate was $625 which seemed very high to me. I told them I'd get back to them. After a trip to the yellow pages I reconnected with Golden Gate Plumbing/Rescue Rooter who'd done the job before and they did it for $185. Maybe there is something special about the work from AB but I'd advise you to get other quotes before hiring them.
